“We Are Ready For War That Will Destroy Israel”: Iran’s Air Force Chief

"We Are Ready For War That Will Destroy Israel": Iran's Air Force Chief

The Iranian military is ready to fight a war for “Israel’s disappearance”, Iran’s air force chief said on January 21.

“The young people in the air force are fully ready and impatient to confront the Zionist regime and eliminate it from the Earth,” Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh was quoted as saying by the Young Journalist Club, a website supervised by state television.

The remarks came following a massive Israeli strike on alleged Iranian targets in Syria.

Israel insists that a main part of Israeli strikes on Syria was carried out in response to an Iranian missile fired at the occupied Golan Heights by Iranian forces from the area of Damascus.

“The Iranian [rocket] launch took place after very lengthy preparations and a decision-making process that concluded months ago,” IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Ronen Manelis said.

He said that the rocket was launched “by an Iranian force from the Damascus area, from inside territory that [the Syrian government] promised would not host an Iranian presence.”

Speaking at the inauguration of a new international airport in southern Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel’s air force had “delivered powerful blows to Iranian targets in Syria, after Iran fired a rocket from that area toward our territory.”

“Anyone who tries to hurt us, we will hurt them,” he noted.

Regional political experts, including Israeli ones, point out that Netanyahu is attempting to exploit the “Iranian threat” to gain an upper hand in the upcoming elections to the Israeli Parliament, which are set to take place in April 2019.

Translation from a Russian news report:
Why was the new S300 system not used to defend Syria?

Many people around the World are puzzled why the Syrians did not use the new S300 system to shoot down all the Israli planes and armed drones used in the recent attacks.

Firstly, and a point not recognised by many, is that the S300 has not been fully handed over to Syria yet – Russian personnel are still at this time in side them, in control of them, training the Syrians.

This is very important to recognise because according to a senior officer, both Russia and the US have an informal (ie unsigned but honour bound between warfighters) agreement not to directly interfere with Israeli / Iranian actions in and around Syria.

Apparently, the Iranian / Israeli conflict will be viewed as being distinct from the Syria / ISIS conflict – unless either Russian or US interests are directly threatened. Beyond supply of hardware, intel sharing, etc to existing partners (US+Israel and Russia+Syria), no other intervention will take place.

This is why Russia did not knock any of the Israeli planes and armed drones out of the sky with S300 or S400, or even send up any fighters to simply ‘escort’ the Israelis away.

Because the Russian warfighters honour the agreement the US warfighters honour thiers – even though thier masters argue they shoud not. This is also why there is currently no big fat US carrier
group off the coast of Syria.

Only the less capable (but still aprraently very effective) Syrian air defence systems are currently available to use, ie Pantsirs, S200’s, etc.

Had the Syrians (Russians) used S300 it would have been (Rightly) interpreted as the Russians engaging Israel, not the Syrians. As well as having broken the non-intervention aggreement with the US the use of S300 would have left the door wide open for a much wider conflict (again), re-involving Russia and the US directly facing off, with Israel, Iran, and Syria in the middle.

The Syrians therefore will continue to have one hand tied behind thier backs until all the S300 training is complete (and the Russians decide to hand them over).

This means that until the Syrian S300 system can stand alone from the Russians it is likely that Israel will take advantage of this period to continue to attack Iranian targets inside Syria.

    • Tommy Jensen

Bla bla bla. You forget the public have heard this bs about honour, gentleman agreements, training and making friends and bla bla bla since the 1980´s where Assad first applied to buy S-300.
In 2010 Assad signed a contract for S-300 to defend Syria and paid the first instalment in 2013.
Still he and we in 2019 must hear these despicable excuses while 1000´s of russians, syrians iranians and hezbollah giving their lives to fight vermin, but are getting shot in their back by Kremlin and Israel. Shame on also you my friend.

      • Promitheas Apollonious

1000´s of russians, syrians iranians and hezbollah………………
you must suck in maths at school grasshopper. Is your mommy know you using her computer?

        • I bet it was a spectrum 48k with a wobbly powerpack.

        • Tommy Jensen

Directly and indirectly. Israel´s 200 bomb attacks were to safe ISIS in a variation of occasions.

          • Promitheas Apollonious

I dont disagree with what you saying in this post. What I disagree if understand correctly what I answered to is the thousands of russians and iranians dying, in syria.

10s of thousand of syrians die yes.

      • Manuel Flores Escobar

Syrian air defense are not qualified to use S-300!..we have seen another Pantsir destroyed because was parked without camouflage or in movement to avoid GPS guide of IDF missile!..during NATO attacks vs Serbia..they only were manage to destroy one AD system because there were many fake models deployed and most of them were hidden or camouflaged!

        • Tommy Jensen

Kremlin has had since 2010 to qualify SAD.
Nobody can say there has not been any situations where S-300 were obvious to use, and Assad has not been silent about his need for them.

          • FB

You’re making a lot of useless noise here, without actually knowing anything about air combat or air defense…or even the political dimension of this situation with Israel and Iran…

First and most important…the Israeli missile launches from outside Syrian airspace prove that the Syrian air defense is effective enough to keep them at a distance…the small strikes carried out are an annoyance that has no significance whatsoever on the conflict…second, the Syrian air defense crews are still not very good…nowhere near the Serbians that managed to fight the combined might of Nato and over 1,000 NATO aircraft to a draw…that Pantsir should not have been killed…even though it did take out at least one Israeli missile [it’s on the Israeli onboard camera film]…see my comments in the other thread on this…

      • #’~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4vXZ

We have also heard BS from the Zi0Nazi side that would be able to take out those S300’s easily since they had studied that ancient set (ex-Cyprus BTW) that is sitting in a Greek museum.

Well, surprise surprise, those cowardly Zi0Nazi swamp rats still have not taken those S300’s out. What are they waiting for, until one their planes gets knocked out?

      • Tudor Miron

Calm down Tommy. Preparation of Syrian S-300 operators will be finished this coming February and you know this.

        • Tommy Jensen

I expect the first 50 Syrian operator team´s transport plane with a Russian pilot to be downed by an Israeli cruise missile and Putin will say bad luck.

        • Kelli Hernandez

Will Putin allow Syrians to shoot Israhelli jets out of the sky?
Lets hope so. This is first time iive heard about Russian S-300 timeline via operational.
Still Putin sucking up to Israhell allowing Israhell to kill Syrians at will.

    • BlueInGreen

More or less reflects how neither the Russians or Americans want to get too deeply involved in the Iranian/Israeli conflict.

Still, Israel isn’t winning anything other than PR for their public consumption. No change in the long term strategy of the Iranians who will most likely be in Syria for a long time regardless of what Israel does and doesn’t do.

    • Steve Edward

It kind of make sense. Let the Jews. and the Muslim, fight it out between each other. It’s not a conflict between Russia’s Christians or America’s Christians.

  • Promitheas Apollonious

I wonder what is the practical use of launching one rocket in golan, when they9 iranians) according to the israelis , have thousand of them in syria. If they decide to use them common sense dictates they will not only launch one rocket in the middle of no where.

    • Neil

I expect, if there was a rocket fired towards Israel at all, it was fired by Israel’s proxy Islamists.

      • Promitheas Apollonious

        that would make sense yes.

        • If they were nearby it would. Maybe it was just some old shitty missile fired by the Jew defence force.

          • Zionism = EVIL

To be honest, the Zionist scum are lying, there is no evidence or even fragments produced of even a 122 grad hitting Golan.

          • Steve Edward

No more evil than you Goober.

      • Kelli Hernandez

Israhell or one of their terrorist proxies launched the rocket so Israhell could play it’s same ole trick! The Jew always cries out in pain as he strikes you . EVERYTHING that comes out of Israhell is LIES ALWAYS LIES

      • Zionism = EVIL

That is a FACT, neither SAA or IRGC launched a single 122 mm Grad towards Occupied Golan, it would have made no sense militarily or tactically. Anyway, that was another Zionist fabrication to justify their aggression. The Zionist liars propaganda machine could not show even any evidence of the primitive unguided small grad even on the Golan. Zionist scum are pathetic desperate liars,

    • Garga

What Neil suggests, or one of air defence missiles which didn’t hit it’s target and eventually fell. Firing one single rocket doesn’t make sense, either they don’t fire back anything if they don’t want to give an excuse for Israeli use, or hit them properly which involves more than one and targeting where it matters..

      • Promitheas Apollonious

        my thinking exactly.

    • verner

just a ruse used by israel to show the destitute states of america the existential threat they are living under and that the destitute etc better hang on in the area.

    • Luke Hemmming

Yes makes no sense strategically at all because they know that Israel strikes back hard. So like it was mentioned maybe Israel proxies. There is another possibility but it does seem remote that maybe Iran did do it, to provoke an attack, lure Israel into a false sense of victory then stings them when they are busy thinking this is easy. Nah scrap that idea.

Israel with all its fancy schmancy military tech has a army that is underprepared and aloof. Iran easily overwhelm Israel and you can bet your bottom dollar a few others would join in and back up Iran if the colloquial shit hit the fan. Yes Israel has nukes but Iran has numbers and I’m sure Iran has already entered the coordinates of Israelis nuclear facilities into their missile command centres that are scattered around Iran. Failing that I’m sure the sheer numbers of Iranian troops and other nations would still raze Israel to the ground despite would some would say on here. Yes Iran is not as advanced but they have the passion and the drive AND the numbers to do this. Look at the trouble the Taliban and the houthis give to advanced armies. Never underestimate the power of a determined passionate people like Iran.

      • Kelli Hernandez

        • Luke Hemmming

Thanks for the SHOUT OUT dude. LOL yes I agree with you. I was thinking the only tough Israeli is one with a gun in its hand. Take the gun away and confront them aggressively and watch them whimper and beg for mercy. But don’t turn your back on him cause he would stick a knife in your back. There is No honour among thieves.

          • Zionism = EVIL

He is angry but right. LOL

        • Steve Edward

Kell, I like your spirit and your words. Of course, it won’t help you, or those you support much.

      • Steve Edward

Passion won’t help much. The Iranians learned that against the Iraqis.

    • Zionism = EVIL

Iranian government is not monolithic and there are a lot of factions, currently Rouhani and Zarif or so-called “moderates” are in power, but the IRGC and regular military’s patience is running out with their mild approach to Zionists. Yesterday, there was a poll in Tasnim Farsi newspaper, close to the hardliners and over 90% of the people polled wanted a tougher response to Zionist attacks. Iranians are nature are cultured and civilized people, with perhaps more poets and writers than Russians who are also stoic people of the Steppes and love art and literature, however, the hammer will eventually drop on the Zionists and they will be hit hard. The hardliners are making a comeback and the “Supreme Leader” Khamenei will be forced to act.Zionists are miscalculating if they think Iranians will remain passive like the Arabs. The next few months will reveal the Iranian response in various forms.

      • Steve Edward

You won’t have to wait a few months.

    • Steve Edward

      Testing Israeli resolve?

      • Promitheas Apollonious

        Is this a joke?

    • S Melanson

The rocket fired by Iran is called the BS-Imaginary Ballistic Missile manufactured in the Knesset under licence of Evil Iran’s Imaginary-but-Politically-Convenient Industries Inc. whose head offices are in Yemen with all the imaginary Iranian troops and weapons.

    • John Brown

They want Nutsenyahoo to be the Israeli PM.

    • jm74

Israeli BS, they or one of their poxy proxies launched the missile, that is if a missile was even launched.

  • Cheryl Brandon

Thanks God for that! Israhell actually HATES iran for it’s unchanging stance for Palestinian Liberation

  • IMHO

“Yea, if you keep bombing us we will retaliate.” “Oh, you better stop bombing us.” “Hey, you killed some of our soldiers again, you better stop it.” “I mean it.”
Empty words just like Russia’s “red line”.

    • verner

better wait a couple of weeks and the destitute states of A will be safely tucked away in Iraq and israel so very much on its own. perfect time to kick them into the next diaspora.

  • An Israeli agent? Playing into Neocon memes, will get great air time on FOX, doesn’t do squat to help the Syrians or Iranians in Syia.

  • Rob

These Israeli air strikes on Syria do not work anymore.

  • Tommy Jensen

All these needle sticks of Israeli sabotage, murders and sanctions may some day end up in enough is enough, and the more murders Israel commit inside Iran the more fear Israel will have for retaliation.

  • Manuel Flores Escobar

Syria cannot retaliate because have many enemies inside Syria and its borders…but Iran can easily send a barrage of ballistic missile vs Tel Aviv airport …then israel will think twice because they know that to attack Iran and cause severy damage is difficult ( large country and far from Israeli bases) and meanwhile Iran have thousands of long range ballistic missile to retaliate in case of continue airstrike vs Iranian assets inside Syria!…beside israeli population could not be inside shelters and in panic mode during more than 2 weeks!…

    • verner

sure some long distance missiles over iraq onto tel aviv and so on and so forth – and good bye, not a long good bye but a very short and definitive one. I’m sure the destitute states of america will welcome the once again diasporad people.

  • #’~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4vXZ

The airforce chief did NOT say the Zi0Nazi entity would be destroyed. He said the Zionist regime will be eliminated from the earth – 1st grey box quote above.

So this article’s title does not correspond to what was said and certainly implies the wrong thing.

    • verner

complaining a lot about nothing it seems.

      • #’~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4vXZ

“US Has Killed More Than 20 Million People in 37 “Victim Nations” Since World War II”

  • Rafik Chauhan

iran will not fire one missile into Israel. it will fire thousands . and mr netanyahoo golan height is not your land. so stop lying and stop crying like baby. do not push ressitance for war or you and Zionist thugs will have to run back to US or in the sea

    • Promitheas Apollonious

the sea is better solution for them.

  • verner

yes please kick them occupying trash into the med. the world doesn’t need israel but israel sure as klucking bells need the world. all rights that the israelis once had are forfeited as a consequence of their own crimes against humanity, war crimes, murders and thieving on a scale not seen since the soon destitute states of A stole the entire continent minus what is today canada, plus that the israelis find fit to operate a concentration camp a la hitler where the primary feature is slow ethnic cleansing of the indigenous people, the palestinians. what else do you need to know to undertake to help put israel’s population on the road to their next diaspora.

  • Elias Thema

Hell, you cannot be proud or show some brankmanship when you throw punches to who is not responding. The real war has not started and what we hear and see is not what we Christians like. This is not an ancient history where God will direct the Israelis to invade other nations. So for peace’s sake,Israel must stop what is doing now.We don’t want it to get hurt.

    • Promitheas Apollonious

yes we do and what god you talking exactly?

  • Smaug

Yep, and tomorrow when the Israelis publically respond to this both Iran and this comments section will deplore Israel’s “pretexts” and “provocation.”

    • Sinbad2

The only thing Israelis do in public is wave their little dicks at young girls.

  • leon mc pilibin

Do they think the Iranians are stupid to fire a single missile into occupied Golan?Believe me if and when the Iranians decide to do that,it wont be the Golan, but the heart of israhell, with Thousands of missiles.along with Hezbollah..These zionist child killing cowards are messing with the wrong people..

  • Tony B.

Commenters don’t seem to realize that all this shows that Israhell is in panic desperation mode. And it also appears that Putin, who has talmudic baggage in Russia to deal with, has dealt with China to give Israhell new warning. Netansatan is losing friends and gaining enemies at every turn. Soon Iran can make good its threat and not even the U.S. will be free to do anything about it.

  • Ray Douglas

Just how long will Syria and Russia put up with this shit? It seems that Israel is informing Russia of the attacks. What the hell is going on?

    • Promitheas Apollonious

good question. What you think is going on?

      • Ray Douglas

As I said in the post, I hope Iran and Russia are playing a long game. Also the fact is Russia has not managed to completely free itself from the jews and their controling of the finances of Russia. But Russia is getting there piece by piece. Why do you think the yanks are using sanctions. It had feck all to do with Ukraine, it has to do with the destructing of the jewish influence in Russia.

        • Promitheas Apollonious

so you think the embargoes on russia is so they help the russians get rid of the jewish influence within russia? seriously… what part you missing that west is fully controlled by the zionist?

          • Ray Douglas

You are not reading my post correctly. Read it again please?

          • Promitheas Apollonious

maybe you should explain me what you mean? It be faster and better if you do.

          • Ray Douglas

What I am saying is; The US is putting sanctions on Russia because Russia is gradually freeing itself from Jewish control/US control. Simple really.

          • Promitheas Apollonious

k now it makes sense what you saying the right way.

  • You can call me Al

Dont’ fall for it Iran, so basically STFU. You will not just be fighting the Kikers, you will have the US and KSA + many others against you. Stay calm for now, sit back and wait and then hit them.

    • jm74

It has been a long wait, something like 70 odd years.

  • cliff

The time for the apartheid state of isreal to came ro its end its coming, soon the international arena will turn they back against them. The Iranian and Russia need to stay close and grow strong in influence over the international stages, they must stand as fair in the eyes of the opress Nation and also win the economic heart and show the truth to the professor while standing on firm ground with them base on islam if guidance.

  • Joe Kerr

Looks like Netty is in deep political xit and has decided on escalation with Iran as a solution. Interesting, and he may need to road test his Samson option over the cliff.

  • Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

    Inshallah God willing!!!

  • Jim Prendergast

When is Israel going to rebuild the airport in Gaza that they destroyed?

  • Paul

Now I’m no fan of Israel but how would the Iranian airforce be able to ‘eliminate’ Israel? You just look stupid making ridiculous comments like these.

    • Agreed. If Iran is like other countries, they have military officers of mixed quality and I bet their air force commander is not an elite position. Their best commanders would be in their missile forces, ground units, and even the IRGC Navy units.

The IRGC navy units don’t have fancy equipment, or a blue water navy but they look like they are very well trained coastal units and for the shallow water of the Persian Gulf. It takes skill to operate speed boats and mini-subs correctly. They must have studied that naval battle in the late 80’s a lot and if we in the U.S. got into another scrap with them in the Persian Gulf we might be in for a surprise.

  • Brother Thomas

The trouble with military people is that they are full of bravado. Their hot-air should be ignored. It has no place in public debate or international diplomacy.

“We Are Ready For War That Will Destroy Israel”: Iran’s Air Force Chief

    joke of the century :))
