US-led Coalition Drops Leaflets Warning Syrian Army Not To Approach Al-Tanf Town

The US-led coalition warplanes dropped warning leaflets on the Al-Tanf road after Syrian Arab Army (SAA) advanced to the Shehmi area, 55 km from Al-Tanf town. The leaflets warned the SAA from continuing its advance and asked it to withdraw to the Zaza Triangle. They also included sectarian expressions, according to local sources.

According to the Syrian TV, the SAA managed to advance in the vicinity of the Scientific Research area in the eastern desert in the Suweida countryside. The SAA also repelled an attack of the US-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the same area.

The US-led forces used Switchblade suicide drones again, and also targeted the SAA positions with Grad rockets south of Zaza.

It became clear that the presence of the FSA in this area is to keep threatening Damascus and to prevent the SAA from capturing the Iraqi border area and thus securing the unity of Syrian territory.

So far, the FSA has faced little clashes with ISIS. In turn, it has repeatedly attacked the SAA with a direct US support.

The SAA should reply that the US forces and their proxies leave Syrian property and retreat back into Jordan.

  • svenne svensk

Now it is the Russians that have to prove that they have the strength to help the Syrians against the US and it’s moderate terrorist. It’s quite crazy they support the Al qaida link organisation that bomb New York. If I was American I would be quite angry all those people died and now they support the killers.

    • Huisje tuintje boontje beesje

The ones who understand that ISIS , al Qaida & CIA are one ! and that defacto 9-11 was a inside job are complotist! , they might under the actual circumstances / laws lose their jobs and end up in a white restrain jacket
The ones who beleive in the ferrytales are patriots and will be praised !
Believe me beter be a patriot and enjoy your american way of life as long as it last, the US don’ t have goelags they don’t need, they only treat you as a outcast and let you rot in povrety !

    • Rodger

The US has stabbed the Kurds in the back every single time they ‘allied’ with them. The people fighting terrorists can just wait until that happens again and then negotiate with them.

  • VGA

They’d better keep some distance from Al Tanf and liberate other areas around the desert, Daraa and move closer to Deir Ezzor. Then somehow Putin will strike a deal to get rid of the americans or the PMU from Iraq will chase ISIS into Syria and will demand US to leave.

Or maybe these “FSA” will attempt to approach the core ISIS territories south of Deir Ezzor and get their ass handed to them by an ISIS counter attack, then they will be exposed as useless in the anti-ISIS fight, like the old “New Syrian Army”.

It is not in the interest of the syrian government and the iranian-backed militias to push too much I believe.

    • Miguel Redondo

It is not in the interest of the syrian government neither of the syrian people to have a single US-soldier or US-paid mercenaries on their homeland soil. You simply put it the other way round , Syrian soldiers occupying the Niagara Falls and dropping leaflets telling the US not to disturb them in their doing.

      • NeoLeo

Yep, imagine Syria send their troops to Mexico and then warns the US forces not to approach El Paso because they support some separatists in Texas…

      • VGA

I am just thinking about the smartest course of action in tje short term. I explained the situation will change and the US+allies will have to leave.

        • Bill Wilson

US ain’t gonna leave until all of the Iranians and Hezbollah pig dogs have gone back home.

    • John Brown

NO wrong. The SAA must surround the town occupy all areas around it. Once that is done then attack. There will be no deals with the USA as they break very deal they have ever made

      • VGA

If iranian-backed militias attack a force that has US coalition advisors embedded in it … then the result cannot be good. If you are pro-SAA you don’t really want that to happen.

      • Bill Wilson

Assad has no choice. Bashar has to kiss Iran’s ass while secretly cutting deals with the US so ISIS can be wiped out inside Syria.

        • Peter Smith

The US has no intention of wiping out ISIS, that is not why they are there Bill. The CIA and your US military are complicit in ISIS being in Syria in the first place. So called “Regime change” is the Agenda of the US in Syria, and anyone who doesn’t realize that by now is just totally ill-informed or just plain stupid..or both. As you seem to be, Bill.

      • John Brown

Syria and Russia are going to have to decide sooner or later to surrender or to call the Zionist bluff and be ready for all out global nuclear war with Israel (to defend their own territory) the capital of the racist supremacist Jewish empire being the first target, if the racist supremacist Jewish empire starts it. Yes racist Jews love to have a Goyims kill each other until only Jews are left, however I seriously doubt they want to die
in any such war they start which they have made sure to avoid at all costs (Jews don’t die in wars for Jews) in the last 900 years.
Russia let Zio Nazis invade in 1939 and lost 30 million lives because of it. I can assure you and any on this board that Russia is 110% committed and ready for global nuclear war (it is no bluff for Russia) to defend its territory and sovereignty and Putin himself warns the Zionist racist empire of this fact constantly. Maintaining Syria in its pre-war borders is essential for this, so Russia is ready for nuclear war and any clash with the USSA and Israel in Syria will escalate very quickly to all out nuclear war. I expect Russia to strike an destroy all USA forward missile bases (so called defense bases) in Europe, Korea, etc within 24 hours of any conflict breakout out with the USSA and Israel and Syria. If the racist Zionist empire does not surrender and leave Syria within 48 hours of any such conflict in Syria the USSA and the racist Jewish empire can expect thousands of Russia nuclear warheads to impact all over their territories, within 48 hour after any such battle beginning.

        • adam77

I doubt it. Russia, SDF, Ukraine, N. Korea and USA all have abortion rights, unlike Syria and Israel. Russia isn’t going to nuke over a country that banned abortion, unlike itself but like it’s supposed invader.

          • Free man

YonatanCohen / Adam77. You write about abortions all the time, so I did Google abortions in Syria / Israel.
I did not find anything about Syria but it turns out that in Israel it is legal to have abortions.
What does this have to do with the policy of the various parties to the Syrian conflict ?
Why do you bring it up all the time?

          • dutchnational

Because he thinks not only adults should be killed?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_law#/media/File:Abortion_Laws.svg wikipedia recently changed Israel from green to yellow. I bring it up because that is what determines whether they are good or bad. If they ban abortion, then they have to kill each other in war to prevent overpopulation; since there is not enough oil or water for the different groups.

      • adam77

They don’t have a phone line to all the foot soldiers. Syria has no reason to bother Al Tanf anyway when SAA can get to PMU Eastward through ISIS territory. Why not go East? There’s even oil on the way.

  • NeoLeo

  • EL ZORRO

“The US-led coalition warplanes dropped warning leaflets on the Al-Tanf road after Syrian Arab Army (SAA) advanced to the Shehmi area, 55 km from Al-Tanf town”…TRANSLATION… The UNITED STATES INTERNATIONAL MERCENARY TERRORISTS war planes dropped warning leaflets on the Syrian SOVEREIGN TERRITORY to the Syrian Arab Army fighting INTERNATIONAL MERCENARY TERRORISTS INVADERS supported by the UNITED STATES INVADING INTERNATIONAL MERCENARIES.

SAA should drop leaflets on Al Tanf showing a map of Syria. Along with retreat routes for FSA wannabe soldiers back to the 55 KM safe zone. This way SAA can concentrate on relieving Deir Ezzor.

    • Mr. Costelol

The leaflets should be attached to a Syrian grad rocket, so they get the message.

    • Zeljko Dakic

I love how you are thinking :)

    • adam77

SAA can concentrate on relieving Dier Ezzor without Al Tanf, And then link up with PMU beyond Dier Ezzor; allowing everyone to fight ISIS in the process. The Northern offensive is pointless too at this time.

      • gfsdyughjgd .

        You are 100% right.

  • Mountains

Secular fighting secular army for resources. I don’t see why anyone would include or link ISIS to any group of the two parties while you know with certainity they are not linked. They are clearly both fighting them and also have their own difference for the race to Deir-Ezzor..

Most likely FSA-US-Jordanian forces are on collision course with SAA for Oil and Gas resource competition post-ISIS which is pretty much soon like 1-2 months away

  • hvaiallverden

Dont for f… sake don’t blink, punch thru and punch hard, and above all, keep the momentum going, the wankees are few, but their air force is an itch and have to be dealt with, of course with the means to stop them from more, uhh….. ups “miss-bombings”, huh, witch nobody believes anyway, in fact they don’t tell the truth what so ever, and apart from what they say, we can fully ignore it, because its more or less bullshit anyway, but the war is done on the ground, that’s where you have to watch the Imperial Banana republics force and their Orc amrys.
Capice, it the ground eventually, where it is determined, that will never change, haven’t, and isn’t.
Show no mercy unless mercy have been shown, the only time in all religions you are allowed to kill, even Yeshua stated that, to defend your land and people, to fail in doing so, is in fact an grave sin.
Its your duty to fight the army’s of the devil, aka the pirates on Potomac, in the district of criminals, in the imperial banana republic uISISa, aka wankeestan.
    I am not joking.

And I also is profoundly happy with the reconciliations going on in the Arab world, and do notice I dont give an rats ass about the so called Shiia/Sunni division, thats an lie, its an perception imposed from out side, forces, aka the MSM again they have buckled both ends, but the main problem is corruption of religion, consciousness and morale, and remember this Arabs, the main teaching is crystal clear, anyone whom cant figure out the real deal, in His Ummah, witch is our reality have done an grave error,, educate your self and you may save your very own soul in the process.

In the end, we have one enemy, uISISa, we can whine and twist the narratives to kingdom comes, but the facts are clear, just go home wankees, love life, and maybe it will love you back.

I sincerely hope some stupid short sighted Jordanians, people in the various emirates, Oman, Yemen is bleeding, its children dying, and you do nothing.
DO you know why, its the fundamental truth in Islam, we are all humans, nobody is like, and there is NO compulsion in Religion, the path, the Jihad, is within, because in the end, what destiny one have, is laid down by our Creator, our all knowing father alone, there is no midle man, the best and most sound advice’s,is given to you by the prophets, where Muhammad was the last one.

Blessed be the peace makers, because they shall inherit the earth.
    Be the light.

    • Attrition47

Calling the bluff of the Washington barbarians was always going to be necessary, the question is when will it be in Syria’s interest. Let’s hope that the Russians are ready for it. Perhaps the time will be after the relief of Deir Ezzor?

      • Bill Wilson

Russia isn’t going to get involved with that foolish al-Tanf adventure since their naval installations aren’t threatened. Assad probably isn’t crazy about it either but has to go along with Iran due to their financial and military support.

        • John Brown

Bill Wilson you are totally wrong. If the racist supremacist Jewish leaders running their empire the USSA etc think like you they will have to endure a humiliating retreat in Syria or there will be global nuclear war within 2 years at most. Syria and Russia (Russia decided this already in Ukraine) are going to have to decide sooner or later to surrender or to call the Zionist bluff and be ready for all out global nuclear war with Israel (to defend their own territory) the capital of the racist supremacist Jewish empire being the first target, if the racist supremacist Jewish empire starts it. Yes racist Jews love to have a Goyims kill each other until only Jews are left, however I seriously doubt they want to die in any such war they start which they have made sure to avoid at all costs (Jews don’t die in wars for Jews) in the last 900 years.

Iran, Hezbollah and Irak are going to take al Tanf border among other reason they cannot afford that Sunni FSA/Nusra terrorist will take Irak/Syrian border and cut Shia forces to join with the counterpart in Syria to advance towards Deir Ezzor…

Not sure why FSA wants a southern front since they can fight ISIS through SDF territory in the North. They just brought 100 trucks of equipment to the North through Iraq so they don’t have to airlift. Why Al Tanf is so important to either side is beyond me. FSA should go North and SAA should go East, both leaving Al Tanf alone.

      • Solomon Krupacek

why FSA wants a southern front since they can fight ISIS through SDF territory in the North

because FSA is opposition, too. they fight also against assad. they want the whole territory of syria.

        • dutchnational

Adam : FSA is attacking Northern Syria through E.S. and threatening to attack Tel Abyad, so why would they allow FSA to pass through them?

      • Solomon Krupacek
        • adam77

If I was SDF I would put FSA at one end of the front, West of Tabqa I guess, rather than in the center where Raqqa is. FSA in Raqqa casts doubt on future abortion rights in Raqqa; though Turkey still has them.

  • enriqueferro

So the Syrian army is banned from its own territory by an illegal invader. Classic! Will Syria use its air defence?

  • Nuno Cardoso da Silva

According to the US the Syrian army is not allowed to operate in Syria!… Maybe the Syrian army – and the Russian forces in Syria – should be prepared to shoot down any coalition plane attacking Syrian forces. What are the S-300 and S-400 for?…

    • jamali hamilton

That would be suicide for the russians and the Syrians.

      • adam77

Al Tanf isn’t worth it for either side. SAA should strike Eastward past Arak and FSA should Join the SDF front in the North.

      • Manuel Flores Escobar

Suicide for US is a war vs Russia , Iran and Syria…US failed in a war vs Syria/lebanon in 1982/83…anyway it would be difficult for Trump administration to see just one US pilot downed and capture by ISIS…
