US Defense Secretary Warns Assad From Attacking US-backed Forces, Claims US Shifts Strategy In Syria

On December 29, US Secretary of Defence Jim Mattis warned forces of the Assad government from launching an attack against US-backed forces in Syria. Mattis said that this “would be a mistake.”

The statement comes after President Bashar al-Assad slammed US-backed forces as “traitors”.

Mattis also claimed that the US is shifting its approach in Syria.

“What we will be doing is shifting from what I call an offensive, terrain-seizing approach,” he told Pentagon reporters. “You’ll see more U.S. diplomats on the ground.”

However, h did not share a timeline for when more diplomats and other personnel would arrive in the war-torn country.

Mattis’ remarks clearly show that the US is aiming to further increase its influencec in the Syrian territory held by US-backed force, often refered as “the Syrian Democratic Forces.”

According to some Syrian experts, Washington is going to de-facto separate this area from Syria and to build own puppet semi-state there.

An offensive, terrain-seizing approach? Yup, the US is splitting up Syria. However, they have to be dreaming if the United Nations will accept such an arrangement.

    • as

They’ve dropped such pretense completely under Trump. It’s now only how the other non aligned members of the UN would react. As well how the US population would fare under Trump with increasingly undemocratic policing underway.
Kind of amazing how they increased their stranglehold attempt globally with their own domestic situation brewing up.

      • Tony B.

Not amazing. Trump simply turned the complete country over to Israhell, as some of us knew he would. But we also knew Hillary would too. The difference is Hillary would have done it all in a way to get richer while Trump is already rich and only cares about his ego. Both are totally owned by the Rothschild cabal, as is every high official in the U.S. government.

    • PizzaPineapple

United Nations is dominated by countries that do every thing the US demands them to do. Besides that, the UN has no power to force a resolution or law. They couldn’t prevent the illegal presence of the US and Turkey in Syria either, so don’t rely on the UN.

If the US really plans an offensive against the SAA with air support then it’s game over perhaps. Russia won’t help the Syrian government any more is my guess. This US presence was never about ISIS. It’s about creating a safe buffer zone for its ally Israel. This will only benefit Israel.

      • LR captain

Jerusalem vote 129 to 9 the US and Israel lost that vote. Even with the threat of losing of financial aid.

Also the US wont attack Assad like that they would use 2000 cruise missile from afar then move in with ground forces through Jorden.

        • Joe

They may attack with cruise missiles and planes is true. But moving in with ground troops is unlikely .
Assad has Russia, Turkey and massive Iranian forces would be suicide by land.

..and US does not have the manpower in ME that can invade Syria

        • Gary Sellars

Justification for a massive unprovoked cruise missile attack and invasion? The US will be a global pariah if it tries anything as stupid as an Iraq style agression based on lies and sedition.

      • Ivan Freely

Dominated by US vassal states? In most cases, sure. However, in the last vote, it sure didn’t seem so. World’s opinion is against the US now. And Haley’s hissy fit verify it.

You are correct that the UN has no power. The organization was never meant to have power. It was suppose to be a forum for political discussions, in the hope that war could be adverted.

        • Hemisphere Samba

NATO is the organization of U.S. vassal states. And the U.S. itself is a vassal state to Israel.

      • Joe

Just watch if I am right. At the moment Assad will not attack as Sochi is not over yet .

US statement is like our diplomats will in there . You Attack US will attack…same as Russia said Russians are embedded with Syrian soldiers.

The point is US can say what they want, short of full scale war against Syria, Turkey, Russian, Hez ,pmu etc
        They will have to leave.

There is no such thing as allowing enemies right in their midst of Russian bases, near to Iran etc.

Only morons think they can succeed.
Even Houthis is strong enough to drive them out. Air power in this kind of war is useless as long as they known how to fight Hezbollah style.

And I don’t think Russia is so cowardly to allow US forces in Syria after ISIS has been defeated.

It’s utterly stupid to think US has any chance to create another Israel right in the midst of a victorious force using mere words

No it does not work that way.

Assad need to be more vocal or US become emboldened to think they can stay

..and I don’t think US dare to start a war with Iran period

        • Ivan Freely

re: Russia is so cowardly to allow US forces to stay after defeat

It’s not about cowardice. They’re trying to avoid a full scale war (i.e. World War 3). A huge deal. Sometimes, it’s 1 step forward, 3 steps back, then 5 steps foward.

          • LR captain

don’t worry once 2020 hits s-500 will be in full service and they can shoot down any nuclear missile us sends at them.

Russia just don’t wanna get get nuked.

          • John Mason

Putin said not that ling ago that Russia will not fight another War on its’ own territory. That statement says it all. US wants a fight they will get it but not in Russia.

      • Tony B.

Russia is rapidly rebuilding its military, most modern in the world. The U.S. knows this and hopes to wear Russia out in Syria so it can’t get ready. Putin has not taken the bait. Putin’s agreement in Syria is to get rid of headchoppers, not to fight Syria’s wars.
When Russia is ready the U.S. had better just quit.

    • John Mason

You have to be dreaming if you think that the UN will do anything. UN is unable/unwilling otherwise they would have done something a long time ago not only in Syria but Yemen, Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan.

      • Ivan Freely

I’m under no impression that the UN has any power. In all honesty, I’m kinda glad because I don’t like a World government. However, in a war, you also need to win in the Court of Public Opinion. IMO, the UN would be the best example of one.

        • John Mason

Public opinion didn’t come into the equation during WW2. When the public have no say and are being recruited for war then any opinion is suppressed. The US public opinion is none existent and by the time they do manage to wake up from their slumber the US will be turning to ash. Their safety umbrella disappeared years ago.

          • Tony B.

Not a matter of waking up. It’s a matter of having no voice whatsoever. Worst police state on earth. High technology gives governments total control of every citizen and the U.S. government has the highest in the world.

          • John Mason

There used to be a TV show here “Persons of Interest”, it was eventually canned when it was too close to reality. That says it all. The only solution for the US is for its’ citizens to do what they did during the Vietnam war and Watergate.

          • Tony B.

I’d like to see it but it’s almost impossible now. Note how today when there is an attempt at demonstration the Soros idiots are brought in to counter it, the cops make it miserable for the legitimate protest side by cutting off their movements and/or arresting them while allowing the Soros thugs to do as they please against them, even with violence.
Times, they are a changing. Not for the good.

          • John Mason

US learned the power of the media in Vietnam where the war was actively reported that condemned US involvement. Here in Australia we have a Federal Law that stops monopoly whether it is the media or business. No individual/company can exercise complete control. US doesn’t have that anymore. Long gone and it is detrimental to its’ citizens. Can’t see a way out without having an uprising which will be squashed by the security services which display a more militarist behaviour.

      • LR captain

Russia/China has uses its veto to stop more and more US based aggression movements. But they can only veto so many times.

        • John Mason

UNSC is nothing more than a play ground. Common sense tells you that UNSC is dysfunctional and out dated and that International Law has been put onto the back burner. Russia/China try to uphold International Law but the other 3 are the violators and they can veto their own violations.

          • LR captain

thats is really a sad truth .

The UN does other countries a voice through and that is matters through.

        • Tony B.

What? There is no limit on vetos. Do you mean that eventually vetos won’t matter? They really don’t matter much now.

      • gustavo

        Totally correct.

      • Hemisphere Samba

Funny how, for America’s foreign ventures, they tout U.N. resolutions as the very word of God, but when we don’t like the resolutions, we ignore them.

    • Joe

      No need UN.

      Iran’s warning is good enough.

There is no way US can defeat Iran if Iran join the fight full time under the treaty with Syria against foreign Invaders

      • Ivan Freely

Iran defeat the US alone? No. They need the might of both China and Russia.

        • John Mason

Ever heard of Vietnam where the Yanks got themselves a wake up call and realized that they are not as good or clever as they make themselves out to be? US will lose on all fronts. all Iran has to do is destroy their bases in Qatar and by experiences when that happens they will run for their lives, just as they did with the USS Cook incidents and cried they eyes out when the Iranians captured some Navy men. The mass exodus from Navy servicemen over the Cook incident goes to show US fighting capabilities.

          • Ivan Freely

John, yes the NVA and VC did most of the fighting, but the US was also indirectly fighting against both the Soviet Union and China.

          • John Mason

Well Ivan the US had help also from Australia, New Zealand mainly. I know since my dad flew F4 in that conflict. It was a dirty war and the Yanks were getting a flogging not only on the battle field but from their own citizens also.

          • Bob

The Australian forces were tasked with security over a southern province – but were not initially trained in counter insurgency. This meant their officers made a major error at outset of their task – they laid a huge conventional minefield that was supposed to keep Viet Cong operatives from infiltrating the province. It was a disastrous decision, as not only was it completely tactically ineffective, but the Viet Cong then systematically dug up the Australian’s own mines and converted them into munitions that were used against the Australian military personnel for the entire time they there. It was classic military cock-up.

          • Bolter10

And the US communications were read by Russia and passed to VC, so the airforce were soon neutralized.

          • Robert Ferrin

Hmm you mean those communications were not in code, lol just how dumb were they…

          • Bolter10

Nope, they lost encryption ,achines with the Pueblo incident and American spies on aircraft carriers sold the codes to the rusians for a pittance.

          • Bob

Yep – John Walker was name of the US naval communications officer and Soviet spy that sold off the communication codes and data right in middle of US operations in Vietnam War. The Pueblo incident was directy linked to this.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Anthony_Walker

          • Bob

Bolter10 is correct – US naval communications officer and Soviet spy John Walker sold off swathes of the most highly sensitive US naval coms and codes at height of Vietnam War.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Anthony_Walker

          • Robert Ferrin

Only when it came to supplies other than that it was the VC who did the fighting and the VC was a damn good at what they did, if you doubt it ask the French something that we should have done ..

          • Bolter10

Israel has three dolphin class submarines standing off Iran with nuclear missiles. That will be a gamechanger. Germany gave Israel the subs for free as part of ‘war reperations.’ Whatever that means.

          • FlorianGeyer

Israel must realise that a mass Ballistic Missile attack on the small area of Israel or a nuclear response on Israel would also be a ‘game changer’ there as well. :)

          • Bolter10

            Who would do a response?

          • Solomon Krupacek

you will see. the first israeli nuclear atck will be the last day of israel. within 1 hour political, economical, military isolation. and this from side of friendly countries. the enemies will act much, much worse.

          • Bolter10

What country would attack Israel if they attacked Iran?

          • Solomon Krupacek

            you will see.

btw., the economical blocade is also enough to definitive destroy of il.

          • gustavo

Iran or any arab country just need to destroy DIMONA nuclear reactor to Israel disappear of the World map.

          • FlorianGeyer

Iran has a very large arsenal of ballistic missiles that could easily smother Israeli defences. I would think that Iran would do this if the Israeli’s/USA attacked Iran. There are just over 6 million jews in Israel as well :) Dimona would be a target I would think as well.

          • Robert Ferrin

Probably Russia at that point after all would’nt you if the nuclear fall out was hitting your country?…

          • John Mason

Last I heard was that the subs were leaking and needed major repairs. No subs off Iran coast.

          • Behold a Pale Horse

Aint no nukes, sorry. If Israel really had nukes, none of this would be happening now. All they would do is sit back and wait for invasion then destroy the country in question. All this bullshit in Syria proves there are no nukes, its just a bluff.

          • Bolter10

They tested their nukes with assitance from the aparthaid government in s.Africa.

          • Solomon Krupacek

these are not ptimal submaruines for this purpuse. and submarines you can not rebuild.

          • Joe

            Dare Israel use nukes?
The leaders will hang in the haque

          • Tommy Jensen

It means Israel can use the three free nuclear submarines they got to attack Germany and get even more money from Germany………and the Germans cant do a sh.t about it……….LOL.

        • Joe

I am talking about a smaller scale conflict , not Vietnam sized.

US will not engage on that scale in Syria. At most they will use their air power or use Israel . I doubt Israel will do land invasion but like to use air power which like I say cannot prevent total defeat of the US forces.

So I am sure they will withdraw without a fight if Assad I’d willing to fight

          • AM Hants

What happened to the F35 when Israel thought it was a good idea before? Have they managed to fix it? What took it down, was it just the S200 system?

        • wwinsti

Possibly, as Iran was a contributor to the US leaving Iraq for a brief time.

        • Matt Lazarus

US would need minimum 200,000 to 300,000 troops on the ground to protect their position in Syria in war against Hezbollah and Iran. US military is already overstretched. Whatever Matthis and Trump may think, American people will not accept another war with large number of casualties in Middle East.

          • Hemisphere Samba

Since when did ZOG or the Empire give a crap about what the American people want? The only thing that matters is “what’s good for Israel?”.

Assad has no choice but to confront the US to protect Syrian sovereignty and stop the breakup of Syria. Maybe Assad should just attack them and get it over and done with, like NK, Syria have nothing to lose by taking the offensive.

    • LR captain

Both Syria and KN have alot to loose by attacking, However as for the US attacking it’s really a “when” not a “if”

      • John Mason

Lose what for example? Yanks can’t fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

        • LR captain

Grunts sure they can’t But the US will be sending mostly highly trained and skilled units. like Rangers marines seals. then reinforce them Mercs and local units like south Korean special units. Then bring in the navy with all that fire power.

ps the US only good at destroying civilian infrastructure. so North may win but the damage will take very long time to clean up especially if the us uses nukes.

          • John Mason

NK will nuke Japan and when that happens the World financial structure will collapse. That is the reason why the US is all mouth and why China/Russia did not veto the last UNSC Resolution for more sanctions. There are many articles that enforce the repercussions to the Global monetary system if the NK nuke Japan. If that does happen then the Dollar won’t be worth wiping your rear end with.

          • Joe

NK has 200k special forces and highly trained plus million men well dug in.

Don’t think US skilled units had any chance in there and most like be hunted like deers.

Note the words ‘well dug in’
means US air Force will have minimal effectiveness.

At most the parade grounds will be flattened …

          • Bobby Twoshoes

Lol, no doubt the highly trained units will be informed by top notch intelligence just like the team that 10 years and two wars after 9/11 crashed a helicopter while murdering Osama Bin Laden who had been “hiding” at his own registered residence.

    • Ivan Freely

North Korea have two trump cards. First, their artillery which is pointed at Seoul. Second, their nukes. Granted the Norks won’t last long but it’ll give the US a big black eye. However, Syria has nothing reliable as what the North Koreans have. Sure, you could call up Hezbollah and launch an attack onto Northern Israel. However, the Hezzies won’t last long.

      • LR captain

Hezbollah don’t go on attacks they stick to defense cause that is what they are best at.

Israel waste millions each training on defending from Hezbollah attack.

so there is really no point for them to attack.

never under estimate your foe that is the first step to defeat.

      • Anirudh Vikram

Actually North Korea has one more trump card, which is the complete absence of any local moslems, that uncle Sam would for sure have stirred them up against Kim Jog Un. That and the absence of the “dreaded” NGOs of Soros is a bonus for Kim.

As much as I would like the SAA to retake back land stolen by the SDF any attack on them will certainly result in the US bombing the SAA & Russia wont get involved. If the Kurds cant be bought off or persuaded to return to the fold then we could have a stalemate that lasts a long time with a defacto partition in existence.

      • John Mason

Latest news states that Putin will protect Syrian sovereignty. Looks like the US either goes willingly or in body bags. There are many Arabs including Iranians that have a bone to pick with the US and are just itching to confront them.

Russia and Syria and even Iran are behaving as responsible nations. America is showing itself for what it is–a tool of Israel. READ WHOLE THING FIRST BEFORE COMMENTING
the issue USA splits up Syria using the SDF.

1st Assad demand that the kurds rejoin Syria. (they do A) (they don’t B)

A- they rejoin and the US looses yet again as its influence is pushed out as more fighters in the SDF return to a civilian life with only the US troops and kurds left to act as security force. then due to shortage in manpower they give more land and bases back to Assad. soon the kurds are bushed back to areas were they make over 60% of population.

B-2nd /turkey Iraq and Syria all put political pressure on the kurds and Assad now has 2 choices ( choice A give the kurds terms for breaking away.) (Choice B he declares war on the kurds and makes them terrorist group or demands that they give most of the land they took.)

side-note Choice B is what US wants to ruin Assad’s reputation further and destroy Russia’s in the process by making Assad look like the aggressor.

Choice A – means that US succeeds in breaking up Syria but fail to paint Assad as cruel dictator. Now they have to support a land locked country that will now being starving and live in fear from a so called NATO ally.

3rd Choice B Assad start military operations against the Kurds. Turkey will most likely join in by clearing Kurdish units as they try to hide in turkey. Iraq does the same while the PMU reinforces the SAA. It quite clear that the US presence won’t stop this attack.

eventually the kurds would be defeated over time and the US can kick turkey out of Nato along with gaining support for sanctioning Syria turkey and Iraq

      The Kurils?
These are Japanese islands occupied by Russia after WWII.
There’s no American interest in them. It’s for Japan and Russia to sort out.
And Russo-Japanese relations are much more likely to lead to a peaceful, cooperative solution than American methods of bullying and threats.

      • gustavo

American interest in Kuris islands is to open the door to Russia submarine bases there. That is the reason USA told Japan to pressure Russia to give back these island to Japan (USA puppet).

        • John Marks

          You’re right, Gustavo.
I think Japan would be better off to change sides: tell the Americans to leave their base in the Ryukyus, Japan declare neutrality and offer big infrastructure investment to Russian Far East in exchange for Kurils.

          • Paul

Problem is Japan doesn’t have that option. The US owns Japan like it owns Germany after being defeated in WW2.

          • John Marks

            That’s what America thinks . . .
Their base in the Ryukyus is a constant thorn to Japan and Japan has, now, the legal right to end the American “lease” with a year’s notice.
Shinzo Abe probably won’t do it, but he has begun an increasingly independent foreign policy which can only raise questions about future relations with America.

America is desperate for Japan to take them back, in order that they can place yet another military base, seriously close to Russia. Fortunataly Russia knows the game and what is at stake. So Japan can go whistle.

        • John Marks

Japan can’t “take” them back: Russia would have to agree a deal.
And there’s no way Russia will agree a deal as long as the Americans are in the Ryukyus. However, if Japan kicked the Americans out . . .

    • You can call me Al

Another great comment. As a Brit, I am sick and tired of the dumb foooooks in the US and disgusted by the way that we seem to follow them; BUT, ..however I will also add that the UK is leading the Europeans away from the Yank influence,

Just food for thought……. Europe had a catastrophic collapse (temporary) of its energy industry, suddenly, strange and in my view against all the odds…. but the UK already had Russian LNG ready to go, the Russians more than wiling …. mmm

UK also led European Countries into joining the Chinese Asian Bank – http://thebricspost.com/uk-snubs-us-to-join-china-led-asian-bank/

The Yanks have become a pubescent rogue element and will be eliminated – as will Israel. Mark my words.

      • Tommy Jensen

You guys are dreaming. Its not enough with wishes and silly declarations of US are bad-arses.
We Americans own half of Syria now and the Kurds loves Israel, and you cant do a sh.t about it……….LOL.
We won the game as we always do and you are losers………..LOL.

        • Paul

CIA ISIS was defeated, so Amercia did lose. Arrogant scumbag.

          • XRGRSF

Are you really so naive as to think that I$I$ has been defeated? I$I$ has disbursed, and is rearming, retraining, changing names, and will be back. I$I$, under a new name, will sit at the right hand of the U$ when Syria is divided up.

          • You can call me Al

From 80,000 to 1-> 3,000 = yes in military speak, they have been defeated.

          • XRGRSF

I can’t recall exactly how many times we said that about the Viet Cong, and the NVA.

          • You can call me Al

No offence mate; we live in the real World, not the US of A……..but I do know what you mean.

          • You can call me Al

            LOL

          • Paul

I agree with you. If it’s under a new name then technically it’s no longer ISIS.

          • You can call me Al

            Sums it up rather well.

        • You won? Like in Vietnam? Like in Korea? Don’t declare yourself a winner before the end. Although your ilk is made of the same fools: I still rememeber the fool in chief, Bush, declaring victory on an aircraft carrier. Some victory LOL

        • XRGRSF

Of course, I hate to say, and most of the people posting are too blinded by their hopes to realize it, but you are most probably correct.

        • You can call me Al

But Tommy – you are a tit.

The Americans will be eliminated in Syria – hey, all the European forces left, leaving a few fat faggot US transgenders there.

Cheerio and have a Happy New Year in your World.

You’re a jew, not an “American”; stop pretending.

You think Syria is a win?

          Like Vietnam was a win?
          Like Libya was a win?
Or maybe you are thinking about Iraq?

One thing the USadmin has won, is the opportunity to lampoon itself on the worlds stage for everyone to laugh at and eventually keep at arms length.

Plans are afoot to put the USadmin in its well earned and rightful place amongst EU leaders. That is sat in the corner wearing a spiky hat and with lots of toys to play with during EU meetings.

The US, an exceptional nation or an incredulous nation?

The other thing, didn’t the City of London make a deal with China? The Bank of England, happily announcing the Chinese Currency Cleaning Hub? Wasn’t that a major factor with regards BREXIT. You don’t think that those who pull the puppet strings, would allow the electorate to have a choice, now do you?

So why is Boris being a solid platinum d*ckhead, where Russia is concerned?

        • You can call me Al

Regards Boris; I honestly have no idea why he behaves the way he does – I hope it is just political rhetoric and good stuff is going on behind the scenes. I shall bore you by my repetition – http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2017/12/29/uk-takes-first-shipment-sanction-hit-russian-gas-plant/

Regards the City of London …https://www.rt.com/business/343330-china-bank-gold-london/

But hey, I could be wrong as usual !!.

          • AM Hants

Just changed energy suppliers as had a hunch mine were purchasing US LNG, owing to storage in Kent. That was before the pipeline broke and they went to Russia. My new suppliers, have just been taken over by Shell, so not sure how that will work out. I basically want one that states it is Russian gas coming through my pipework haha.

With regards China, Barclays and the gold. That has seriously interested me and bet Brown is having a sulk, that he is not in position to flog it? I could go on a ramble, as my head tries to make sense of it all, but, will spare you that on New Year’s Eve.

It is seriously interesting, from where you are coming from, as the City moves away from the $USD. Barclays and the globalists, bailing out and going East? It also connects with Qatar, and aren’t they the nation for Exxon, who are now working with Iran on a shared oil field and trading in Yuan? Funnily, finding themselves persona non-grata with Washington DC. As I am reminded of the end days of the US and China takes the dominant position.

Have you seen articles with regards the IMF wanting to move the UN to China, owing to them soon to be the dominant super-power?

IMF May Move From D.C. to Beijing, Chief Says… https://www.thenewamerican.com/economy/item/18455-imf-may-move-from-dc-to-beijing-chief-says

Put your self pity head away, haha, as you always make perfect sense, as you know. Including when you are on the wine and ranting, which provides some decent comedy on tiresome days.

          PS

I flew out of Manchester airport – what a s-hole.

Me and the lad went to KFC and every single person was Brown, Black, Yellow and green (+other colours) ….. we ended up in a huge queue, just watched and no-one understood what TF they were talking about, I ended up with some slant and honestly, however I tried, I had no idea WTF she said; mind boggling cannot even describe the experience.

PS My Son was just cracking up as were another 10 kids after their parents went through the whole thing.

PPS Allegedly another 4->10 thousand immigrants coming to the Peak District. Green belt land being bulldozed as I write.

          • AM Hants

I bet you are missing England? Haha. Who needs Green Belt land, when Soros is shipping in his mates and counting the Government, tax payer bounty that goes with each shipment.

Was your son laughing more at your patience, than events haha? With regards Manchester Airport, flown from there and not one of my favourite airports. Funnily enough, more a fan of East Midlands Airport, but, have not flown from there for a while and no doubt, it has undergone many changes.

The US will be reformed, not eliminated and the reform will occur willingly or unwillingly dependent upon the US perspective. Willingly on the part of progressives and extremely unwillingly on the part of the neos, the cons and the libs.
By reform, that means legal reforms and the neo cons and libs, will be fighting all they way to their prison cells, messy and inevitable, the fall is well under way. Most of it done by Americans and for Americans, with effective distraction provided by the rest of the world, getting the entrenched US powers to chase shadows.

        • You can call me Al

The US will undergo a civil war; however mad that sounds, mark my words.

It’s the British people who are leading the way AL. The politicians are stalling for time. Probably in order to let their business kickbacks mature before exiting EU jacuzzis.

We are slowly dragging them, kicking and screaming and that screaming can be heard all through the bbc, channel4, channel et al.

Follow the finance industry money because that industry doesn’t throw money away and knows where their bread is likely to be buttered.

This will be the Trump heinous mistake if he keep continue grooming SDF, YPG groups against Syrian state. Turkey has already declared that SDF, YPG etc created by US are terrorist groups.

Haven’t they got a new name for 2018? Well, until they need another name in February.

ISIS version 52 – ALEPPO, Syria – The Syrian Opposition Interim Government announced today the formation of the “Syrian National Army” (SNA).

assad will dnothing do against americans

      • Hemisphere Samba

He must be careful, as does Russia. It’s not cowardice. It’s wisdom. U.S. is acting like the monkey with a handgrenade—and Israel is holding the money’s leash.

  • Solomon Krupacek

Mattis also claimed that the US is shifting its approach in Syria.

for me was forseenable. i wrote about this 15 months ago. putin is blind in comparison to me. thanks putin, you personally allowed that americans flood syria.

    • Hemisphere Samba

No, he didn’t. There is no way Russia is ready to take on the U.S. directly and it’s exactly what the U.S. wants. Remember that Israel hates Russia more than even Iran. To take on the U.S. will require a confedration, preferably with China included in it. That, or time, because everyday the U.S. and NATO becomce less Western and more 3rd world.

          • wwinsti

I, in turn, will not wish physical harm on you. The romantic movie ending you are so demanding to see will not come about, so save your popcorn for something else. The Syrians will have to learn hit-and-run tactics to avoid US air superiority. It will be death by a thousand cuts, with US allies signing agreements with the Syrian gov. once they realize life in hell is hardly worth the money.

          • Solomon Krupacek

usa symply will occupy syria in that case. like iraq.

          • Tony B.

Putin stopped the “new clever” U.S./Israeli cut into central Syria from the south in no time, leaving them to guard one check point that no one could use anyway. U.S./Israeli military was certain they would control everything on both sides of the river by that move. They ended up guarding a dead end in a patch of desert.
Not only that, they did it in a way the U.S./Israeli military absolutely could not use to start a full scale war without obviously being the offender.

          • Solomon Krupacek

this checkpoint has 100 miles diameter ;) north and east syria lost. and the war has not finished …

Mattis dont have interest in SDF..otherwise he should knows that Erdogan turks also threat SDF in Manjib and Afrin and Mattis dont say nothing!…the purpose of USA is to support suni islamist terrorist gangs vs SAA and Shia army…in order to protect Israel and harass the Russians in Tartus and Latakia as we seen in the last rockets attacks!

  • Lazy Gamer

so us influence has more priority than safety of its people. There is no justification for their presence there. that is already an active attack to the sovereignty of a state. Maybe record in war crimes but not at icc atm. Syria should make it expensive for the US to stay until they make the calculation that safety and prosperity > influence

    • Hemisphere Samba

Nope. Got nothing to do with influence and everything to do with ISREAL’s desire. Same deal as moving the embassey–American citizens got NOTHING out of it, in fact, they may have been in danger, but the ZOG does not give a crap about American citizens, it cares about what Israel wants.

  • Bolter10

US had better tell everyoe who is their friend this week.

  • Deo Cass

This was done with Russia’s complicity which alone could prevent this from happening. Instead in 2015 Putin gave all of Eastern Syria to the Americans knowing pretty well that this would happen. Russia bartered sovereign Syrian territory at the back of the Syrian government. It also gave S400 to Syria’s arch enemies Turkey and Saudi Arabia to prevent Syria from defending itself through missle launches when all the foreign occupation forces start attacking the Syrian government forces to take all of Syria under their control. Russia has been promised it would keep its bases once this happens, but as usual they would be thrown out of Syria eventually because the US never keeps its word.

    • Rodger

And it was a smart move. If Russia can get the US to become caught up in the Kurdish swamp they get Turkey, (most of) Syria, Iraq and Iran for free while the US just gets a massive bill. Seems it’s working pretty well.

  • Behold a Pale Horse

Iran is running the show. He should address his comments to them.

    • dontlietome

As much as I hate to tell you this, you are wrong……………… way, way, way wrong…………………… do you want to know more ?

  • John Brown

This is great news for Syria as it means Turkey will totally turn against the racist supremacist global Jewish confederate slave empire as it is clear Turkey’s very existence is under threat. The empire can’t hold eastern Syria without the support of Turkey.
The SAA will take the rest of Syria back first then have a total economic blockade against the SDF / ISIS / Israeli occupied part of Syria with Turkey and Iraq and then if the SDF / ISIS / Israeli forces that have not already surrendered because of the blockade by then, the summer of 2018, they will all be attacked along with their USSA slave soldiers by the SAA, Turkey, Iraq and Iran, supported by Russia and China.
There will probably even be very large scale attacks against USSA soldiers at the same time in Turkey and Iraq as well. No way the USSA slave masters can win such a battle (it won’t take long) for their slave master Israel. Then with the launch of the gold backed Petro Yuan at the same time (which is the real battle) we may even see the total collapse of the federal reserve Jewish dollar and the entire racist supremacist global Jewish confederate slave empire.

    • FlorianGeyer

I hope you are correct :)

MAD DOG MATTIS,a very apt name for a war criminal. These exceptional scumbags will sooner or later be driven out of SYRIA.Its only a matter of time.

  • Aurelio Ferdinand

Mattis is the lest of all ppl to be warning the sovereign Syrian govt, this war criminal Mattis, how these ppl love to shed innocent, the world knows the truth now about the true ”Globalist Agenda” which the US power structure is executing in Syria; life is a full cycle, and the US will be payed in full for its wicked deeds.

  • wwinsti

I think Russia should have dropped the bomb. Even one targeted to cause almost no casualties would have broken the deep state’s ability to keep various citizens locked up in their respective information bubbles. The seriousness of US actions in eastern Syria will remain a back burner issue until experience at the level of individual becomes existential. I can’t see the Cuban missile crisis becoming a headline dominating item if it happened today. If it did happen today, news about the royals or presidential piccadillos would at least get equal time in the US media as Soviet missile movements and statements at the UN, possibly even more time.

    • Hemisphere Samba

That’s the reason Assad and Putin have to be careful and do everything by the book. If war crimes charges are not already being filed, they should be.

      • wwinsti

If there were a chance of reversing the war crimes process, your point would be valid. War crimes are already in the works, there is simply no reason to think the US will not have it’s way at the UN or the Hague.

      • dontlietome

Too right Zman, I think i was being too humane, perhaps multiple impacts from a 2 pound ball-pein hammer to the base of the skull would put the word out to the rest of the zio-scum, besides, it makes a nice sound !

  • John Francis

The U.S. has no legal right whatsoever to be in Syria!

  • gustavo

This is a explicit treat of USA to Syria. Of course, the treat of a superpower must be answer by another superpower. So, let us see what Russia can tell about this.

  • Ger

An invader warns a sovereigns country not to fight back or risk loosing territory? We American’s have become the worlds ‘un-useful idiots’. It is no wonder the Europeans want to rid themselves of NATO and form their on security organization. It becomes more embarrassing each day watching the so called world powers running behind the Americans scooping up their shit all over the world. .

  • MichaH

In german Commentsections, and I think in many places around the world, sometimes some naive Idiots mention that the poor Kurds have to be secured because of Assad, without even thinking about the fact that the Euphrate as line of demarcation never ever had been the borders of the kurdish settlements, that the kurds just occupy that territory.

    It is disgusting…

  • Serious

Thanks Pussin. What a great leader you are. You throw away you own allies.

    • RichardD

Face the facts, the government footprint grows every day while the regime change footprint shrinks.

      • Serious

Totally false. You must face the facts.

Before the war : the giovernment owns all Syria and the “opposition” nothing.
After the war : the giovernment owns less than half of Syria and the “opposition” the other half.

Syria is becoming like NK and SK, North Sudan and south Sudan, China and Taiwan, west Ukraine and east Ukraine, …..

People were afraid of “WW3” as if USA will attack Russia and be annhiliated by nuclear blasts for Syria. People were too afraid of nothing. If you are sacred, surrender.

        • RichardD

There’s nothing false about it, your changing the subject is evasion. After Russia, Iran, Lebanon and Iraq intervened, the loss of Syrian territory to the regime change terrorists stopped, and the government footprint grows every day as the Jew world order terrorist footprint shrinks. Those are the facts. You can’t disprove that, so you don’t even try. The SDF secession attempt east of the river is just one more contain and clear operation that the Syrian government coalition is carrying out.

          • Serious

Why do you take in reference the day of lowest gov possession ? It’s totally arbitrary.

          • RichardD

You’re changing the subject from your comment that I replied to about Russia not doing enough. Russia got involved and turned the tide of the war, any fool can see that. Your ignoring it and trying to change the subject is your problem, not mine.

          • Serious

Man. Russia has decades to strengthen the syrian army and to prevent sunnis from uprising.

Russia and Syria are reacting. They are not acting. So, they are loosing. Iran is acting because Iran create allies like Hezbollah and Houthis and protect them as far as they can.

          • RichardD

More misrepresentation from someone ignoring, or ignorant of the facts. The Syrian people didn’t rise up, the reelected Assad by a wide margin. Syria was targeted for regime change by the Jew world order to get them off of Israel’s back and further their regional and global hegemony drive. When Syria was attacked they pushed the invaders back with help from Syrian government coalition partners.

          • Serious

I had never said that Syrians had uprised. I said sunnis has uprised. It is very obvious that USA is using terrorist to acheive their agenda. So, it was obvious to do something to control sunnis in Syria. Also, Assad must have given kurds independence north east of Syria to prevent USA using kurds. Also, Assad must have told Putin to sell brand new weapons and build a strong defense.

Iran is acting. So, Hezbollah was ready to give a fight the second that USA attacked and were one of the most efficient in the ground.

          • RichardD

Now your talking out of both sides of your mouth and making rambling nonsensical comments. The overwhelming majority of Syrians are sunnies. They’re the ones who reelected Assad, and who would again. The war isn’t from a sunnie uprising, it’s from a Jew world order regime change operation planned long ago:

          • Serious

When I said sunnis has uprised, I talk about al qaida, ISIS, …. Syrian sunnis don’t think. They are with the one who win.

          • RichardD

            You wrote:

“Russia had decades to strengthen the syrian army and to prevent sunnis from uprising.”

There was no sunnie uprising. It was an external regime change operation that would have never happened without external interference. That isn’t an uprising, that’s an external regime change operation targeting the sitting government.

          • Serious

Some people uprisedand started targetting government possession. These people were supported and were given weapons and intelligence by USA.
But, if Russia doesn’t make clear that USA is supporting these terrorists and doesn’t make clear that USA created ISIS, expect nothing.

Iran made clear that ISIS was supported by USA.

          • RichardD

Peaceful demonstrations aren’t armed uprisings. The original demonstrations that turned violent where done so by external elements. If there hadn’t been external provocation the demonstrations would have concluded without incident. It was all planned in advance as outlined in the links and quotes that I’ve provided:

            “‘Acts of sabotage’

The state news agency SANA said “acts of sabotage” had broken out at the protest, which prompted the security forces to intervene.

“Infiltrators took advantage of a gathering of citizens near the Omari Mosque in the city of Deraa on Friday afternoon to provoke chaos through acts of violence which resulted in damage to private and public property,” the agency reported.

“The infiltrators also set cars and shops on fire, which obliged security forces to intervene in order to protect citizens and property. They were also attacked by the infiltrators before the latter dispersed.””

            – Violence erupts at protests in Syria –

            http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2011/03/201131817214964640.html

          • Serious

There wa no peaceful demonstartions. Sunnis extremists groups started to target the syrian governement. The west called it “peaceful demonstartion” and then started flooding Syria with ISIS.

But, Pussin accepted the “international coalition” to operate in Syria.

          • RichardD

Prove that there were no peaceful demonstrations, you can’t, so you won’t even try. The extremist groups were and are foreign created and supported fronts to carry out regime change. Without foreign creation they would have never existed.

          • Serious

Do you think that there is not syrian sunnis extremists ? XD

          • RichardD

Every nation has extremists, without foreign sponsorship they end up in jail. Which is what would have happened in Syria without foreign instigation.

  • Serious

Do you think that Pussin and his jewish advisers will reverse the situation ??? Never.

You have a favorable situation where you have to defend but you chose to collaborate with the attackers. Now, the situation is reverse and USA is defending. If you attack, you become the “bad guy”. And USA will never do what Russia does : collaborating in a favorable situation.

So, that’s it. I was saying that since day one. Now, scared people must surrender because they can’t defend anyone.

  • Serious

Now, to reverse the situation you must either create terrorists to fight them and recover the lands or you must create an uprise and go save the population.

So, the more you are scared, the more you will loose.

  • RichardD

Of course the article author is completely correct. Jewmerica is doing exactly what Trump campaigned on getting out of, “nation building”. The Jews are going to fanatical extremes, which is nothing new for them, to destroy the America First, anti Israel first platform that Trump won the election on. He’s made concessions to them to try to counter the impeachment efforts and obstruction that the Jews and their collaborators are engaged in. And may be turning the tables on them. He obviously has a lot of public support in dealing with the Jew criminals and their collaborators:

“Majority of Americans oppose moving embassy to Jerusalem …

According to a new poll conducted by the University of Maryland, The Middle East and Russia: American attitudes on Trump’s foreign policy, found that a strong majority of Americans (63 percent), including 44 percent of Republicans oppose moving the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.”

I followed Trump tweets. Trump is 100% with israel and 0% with Palestinian. He even call Palestinians terrorist. He said in twitter that jerusalem must be capital of israel. His daughter is converted to jusdaism.

So, that’s it. USA can’t be saved. I look forward for the liberation of Germany, the only country I rely on with Iran.

          • RichardD

Trump made a lot of anti Israel, anti Jew world order, pro America First comments. It’s what he won the election on. Your ignoring that is your problem, not mine.

          • Serious

The fact that Trump is anti-NWO has nothing to do with the fact that he is an israeli lover. And the fact that he loves israel will prevent him from protecting USA because israel weaken USA enough so that USA remains tied up. If USA is too independent from them, USA will become a danger for israel because USA will no more support them in order to save her.

          • RichardD

“Trump is anti-NWO has nothing to be with the fact that he is an israeli lover.”

This statement by you is completely false. The NWO is run by Jews and their collaborators. Which America First is diametrically opposed to. This is why they’ve turned US politics into a complete anti Trump circus that many Americans deeply resent. Which is why Trump got elected in the first place.

Your ignoring statements by Trump that he wants Israel to give back the money that they’ve taken, and by implication not receive anymore, indicates that you have problems with rational thought.

          • Serious

How will he acheive that ??? XD.

Trump is just a f… clown. He will loose. He can’t be with both part. He fooled Americans. Its remains 3 years and he will not be reelected. Consider Trump history.

Just like Putin can’t be with Syria and with israel. It’s not compatible.

          • RichardD

Your ignoring the first comment that I made that you responded to is your problem, not mine. Go back and reread it.

          • Hemisphere Samba

I honestly think he’s being blackmailed. They have dirt on him and have gotten to him with it. It happened a few days before 06 of April.

          • RichardD

I think that it happened earlier than that. And that he was threatened before, or just after he got elected. But the people with the dirt are dirty also, and vulnerable to reciprocal coercion. Which is why there’s been so much media negativity and impeachment work attempts starting soon after the election.

      • Hemisphere Samba

Not sure if he’s a lover, or they have some sordid sex tape on him, or both.

    Loosers gonnna loose.

    • RichardD

The war is being fought by Jew world order mercenaries. Many or most of whom aren’t from Syria, so your Syria sunnie uprising is false.

      • Serious

What about al qaida, all sunnis groups, ISIS, ….

        • RichardD

They’re mercenaries working as a front for intel agencies to carry out regime change. Without external interference there would be no war. And if the external interference trying to change the government stopped, the war would be over quickly because few Syrians support it.

          • Serious

The question is why do you want USA to stop giving weapons and intelligence and support ?

You must make them give up not collaborating with them.

          • RichardD

You’re blaming the victims for the crime that they’re being subjected to. They’re coerced into collaborating with the regime change terrorists, except for the some Kurds who are opportunists, and who would be quickly arrested and prosecuted for their crimes without external intervention preventing it. Once an area is overrun by terrorists the people there can either flee and become refugees or cooperate to the extent that they must.

          • Serious

It’s the duty of a governement to protect his people and his country. Never expect others countries to be nice with you especially the USA gov. USA tried to destroy Syria since always.

          • RichardD

Syria was overwhelmed by superior force and had to bring in help to push it back.

          • RichardD

” why do you want USA to stop giving weapons and intelligence and support ?”

Because it’s a violation of international law and a crime that is detrimental to international security.

          • Serious

Who gives a shit about international laws. There is only one law : the duty and the right to defend.

No general Flattis, we want to see absolutely zero american personnel or bases in Syria. Dont make Russia and Syria and Iran force you to leave!!! Because you are really asking for it!!!

  • Ricky Miller

One could see this coming a long time ago. In 2013 Congress was getting ready to vote on a bill that would authorize the use of force in Syria. The public said no. Congress abandoned the vote and moved on. In 2016, candidate Trump said no to American involvement in Middle Eastern wars and specifically mentioned not getting involved in Syria. I guess government of the people, by the people, and for the people is dead here in the USA. We said “no.” They do it anyway…

    • Hemisphere Samba

The government does not give two shIts what the American public wants.

  • AM Hants

US are illegally in a sovereign nation. No declaration of war, no UN authority and no invited from the democratically elected sovereign Government to come and invade. How did Mattis get his nickname and how legal was that war, based on a pack of lies?

  • sorgfelt

The U.S. does not belong in Syria. They were not invited and their presence is illegal. They are there because of interest in an oil pipeline to which Assad objected. They then built up ISIS to bring Assad down, and justify their actions with lies. Russia has warned the U.S. to get out of Syria. I would not take that as an idle threat.

    • Hemisphere Samba

Sorry, Israel has U.S. by the balls and won’t let us leave. America is not a sovereign nation.

The U$ will do whatever the U$ wants, in Syria, because no one has the courage to stop them.

    • Steve Bell

Don’t be too sure of that… just last week nuclear capable TU95 bombers flew from a base in Indonesia to near U.S. bases in Australia, scaring the crap out of the ADF. Putin isn’t stupid, and knows the game those controlling Trump are playing.

      • XRGRSF

My worry is that Russia sees some big, but very stupid move coming from the U$, and doesn’t want to be caught with strategic assets in Syria. However, if Russia isn’t willing to fight, and the U$ is willing to fight then the U$ will be in Moscow before it’s over. This is the sort of game that can lead to WW 3, and the U$ is stupid, and arrogant enough think they can play, and win.

    • Hemisphere Samba

Wrong. The U.S. will do whatever Israel wants because the U.S. government is owned by dual passport holders who love Israel FAR MORE than they do the U.S.A..

  • Steve Bell

As the U.S. heads to bankruptcy, AIPAC and its Lobby are getting desperate to push the U.S. into one more war- with Iran. Destabilising Syria is part of this plan.

  • igybundy

If anyone has watched amerikans you knew this long ago. Nothing they say matters, only what they do and the US have had their units inside Syria long before any “revolution”. Now their plans are openly coming to fore. Which is why watching it as it happens knowing what was to come is so nerve wracking because this is what amerika does. Lets freedom run away and then go looking for trouble.

  • dutchnational

Sounds like the start of a cohesive Syria policy. Rooting for the SDF and its US ally.

  • Dr. Ronald Cutburth

We can see also that as that territory borders also Iran. The US was able to infiltrate Iran with subversives for their riots.

  • Carol Davidek-Waller

The US has no legal leg to stand on for their presence in Syria. They are completely surrounded which was inevitable. They have repeatedly helped terrorist forces with weapons, training, air power and to escape. Finger wagging is not going to help thrm. Packing up their tents and going home quickly, will.
