US Brings More Cruise Missile Carriers To Middle East, Syrian Air Defense Prepare To Repel Strikes

The US has been building a group of cruise missile carriers in the Middle East for strikes against government forces in Syria, which would be justified by a pre-planned provocation involving the use of chemical weapons in the province of Idlib, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told the media on August 27.

“The United States keeps building up the cruise missile carriers group in the Middle East as part of preparations for another provocation in Idlib Province to be presented as an alleged use of chemical weapons,” Konashenkov said.

Konashenkov noted that “these preparations are fresh confirmation of US intentions to use as a pretext a likely simulation of the government forces’ chemical attack, which Hayat Tahrir al-Sham [formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda] militants are plotting with active support from British secret services.”

Meanwhile, reports have started appearing from pro-government sources that the Syrian Air Defense Forces (SADF) have been already preparing to repel an expected US-led missile strike on the country.

These developments come amid the growing tensions in the province of Idlib. Last weekend, the Russian Defense Ministry revealed that thousands of militants with armoured vehicles and heavy weapons have gathered in Idlib preparing for an attack on government positions in northern Hama and southwestern Aleppo.

Not to talk about the theater of Western stupidity in UNSC.

We will have to see US Nikki Zombie hypocriting again and again in the media. Uargggh.

      • Ma_Laoshi

Much reference is made to this fella Sun Tzu, but the core of what he said is: it’s a fatal mistake to disrespect and underestimate the enemy. Calling the Empire stupid when they’re once again in the driver’s seat may be just that. The Dark Throne just observes what they got away with last time, and judges that more of the same would suit it nicely. Yes Western audiences are stupid if they believe or at least put up with this crap; maybe the Talmud has a point about goyim being cattle and all that. On the other hand, since Putin goes out of his way to shield their countries from consequences for their war crimes, what reason do Westerners have to pay attention?

Putin gave away leverage in Helsinki by volunteering to remove various threats to Israel–in return for what? Seems more like he was the one that got played.

        • Tommy Jensen

Yr right about to not underestimate the monkey with the handgrante.
The Western sheeple are locked in a mental matrix done by manipulation of their language. They cant see reality, only system defined and managed perception.

          • Ma_Laoshi

I think Trump would be flattered with your description of him. :-) It indicates that, while the other side’s hand grenade is just as lethal, it’s him who has achieved credibility for his threats. In the shadows, Kissinger is smiling in approval: the Donald is a better front man for the “madman theory of brinkmanship” than Nixon ever was.

For some strange reason the Kremlin does not tell the whole world its strategies.

      • seawolf

        Militarily that would be wrong.

      • Ma_Laoshi

Assuming there is one. Who can know for sure, but all indications are that the nationalist/security wing of the Kremlin has advised Putin for ages that his appeasement policy is only making things worse. What is he going to tell them now, “Sorry I can’t help it, I simply got outsmarted in Helsinki?”

Last time round, the Kremlin earnestly proclaimed that the E Ghouta CW attack was a hoax (as if anybody doubted that). They claimed it was a British op, without ever showing us hard proof–way to go distinguishing yourself from the Empire. But by negotiating with the big boys about “Assad’s punishment” they became complicit in it, leaving them without a good story to tell. Then puny Israel rubbed it in with a period of almost daily bombings. Visible disarray ensued in Moscow.

Surely the Kremlin realized there would be a next time, and surely they intended to do better next time. Will they?

It is time not only to stop the missiles going to Syria but to sink or shot down the sources. Russia can do this without any difficulty, just do it.

  • John

Well, …………. so what. The Russians and the Syrian government have been trying to tell the yo-yo’s in Paris, London and Washington that this is not a god idea. Russia is practically identifying the Brits by name, doing the setup of the chem stuff. The Syrian government has recently been releasing photos taken by their spies in Idlib. They probably know exactly how many of them there are, what they have for lunch and where they have been sleeping. A plan is not good if everybody knows what is going on, especially in the theater of warfare. But, we have some real blockheads calling the shots and common sense may be completely off the table. Who knows.

The other angle, due to the fact that the potential targets have been forewarned weeks in advance ( incredible stupidity, nobody in any military college says that advance advertisement is the way to go over say …………… the element of surprise ), my guess would be that there is something waiting for the attackers. Plus, if this one goes over with a fizzle, FOR THE THRID TIME, we have now moved beyond the pale and proven beyond the wildest of doubt, that the Iranian general was correct ( can’t do crap without sufficient boots on the ground ).

In the world of violence, the ones who usually come out on top are those who talk the least. So for the Occidentals, my take is that the third time, may not be charmed for you. The bulk of Syrian forces now readying for the Idlib operation are right under the Russian air defense umbrella. It would be much smarter to just use the time to start packing up and go home. I wish better days for all.

    • seawolf

That was a very encouraging comment, hope all goes that way

      • John

        Thank you seawolf. :)

    • roland

are you aware of whos really calling the shots here they are not blockheads I’m presuming your talking about our politicians they are just puppets they are forced to do what they do, the people calling the shots are a bunch of devil worshiping phsycopaths who shape reality and they’ve been doing it for a while. These people I’m talking about control about 90 per cent of the world and most people don’t know they exist, that’s how good they are at what they do. What scares the shit out of me is that its becoming really obvious what theyre up to that means they are starting to show theyre hand and that means its probably too late to do anything about it.

      • John

Hey roland. I get your point. Blockheads are blockheads, it doesn’t matter how many resources are at their disposal. The global system that has been in place, with modifications, since Bretton Woods is running the final leg it’s course. The story is out in the open, fewer care to cooperate with it by the day and the reasons for its’ existence ring hollow in front of all to observe.

The shot callers, the ones who actually created the system, are all dead. It is the kids and grandkids running the show now and they don’t have 10% of the savvy or real balls, that the founders possessed. I know about stories related to certain families, that are perceived as all powerful and omnipresent. Baloney. Take the Rothschild family for instance. Guys, people who ‘control the world’, they don’t charge admission for tourists to view the family mansion. You get arrested, at a minimum, if you try to enter the property. I am still waiting for somebody to tell me the House of Medici is calling shots. They were put through the ringer in 1527, but good mind you.

So, here is my citation, to illustrate my point. I know how people love links and live to ask others ‘where did you get that from’ questions. I proudly introduce the example from the work of Percy Bysshe Shelley. Ladies and gentlemen, I present his sonnet, Ozymandias!!!

I wish well to you roland!

        • roland

i must say I do not share your optimism that these people are running out of steam they seem to control all levels of western governments the police forces the militaries the court systems they control all the celebrities and politicians they rule using blackmail, bribery coercion, fear, any means necessary no one messes with these people they also have a survaliance network set up so sophisticated that it makes it impossible to organise any resistance to them without them knowing about it. as to the rothchilds I don’t know where they stand in all this your probably right when you suggest they are minor players in this they are too obvious. What people have to realise is this network is playing for keeps and I believe its endgame.
I wish you well to you too john and I hope we can have discussions like this in the future without being put in jail.

  • TruthSeeker

We all know the CW provocation was going to happen in Idlib it’s the last stronghold for terrorists, after Idlib the war will be over. SDF and TAF areas will be solved through diplomacy and deals being made, war would take time as state military’s are also involved. What I wonder is if this does end up being the cruise missile finale, there are still s400 planted across the country, some of which no body knows. Will we finally see s400 in combat action?

  • Sinbad2

If the US succeeds, a big bully beat up a little kid, and nobody will care.
If Syria prevents the US from killing Syrians, the little kid kicked the big bully in the nuts, and the whole world will laugh at America.
It will be little David defeating Goliath.

The people who decide Americas actions have gone full retard.

  • Dušan Mirić

Syrians knows how to hit back.

    • Ma_Laoshi

“know” doesn’t really help them; they were denied the weapons to act on it.

      • Nosferatu

They were only denied the weapons to make it worst. Dont forget US forces are arrogant and they would not accept any of its aircraft being shoot down by Syria. They would use such event as reason to attack Syria for real (unlike the show off attack in April). That could cause WW3. Syria was provided with plenty of short to medium range systems from Russia, such as Pantsir so stop spreading BS.

        • Ma_Laoshi

After the last episode of this soap, I can only assume many on the (pro-)Russian side resolved “next time we’ll do better”. You did understand there’d be a next time did you? But so far, things don’t look encouraging as the same cliché’s are rolled out on autopilot: warnings of unspecified “grave consequences”; “what then, do you want to start WW3?!”; “scrupulous adherence to international law”; yawn.

When you write “The US wouldn’t accept” you have internalized that the Dark Throne writes the rules of the game–which is of course how Syria ended up being the contested prey, and not say Jordan next door. Willingness to fight matters more than the wonder weapons which Russia is so fond of showing off. Little Kim indicated a willingness to fight, and therefore sent Uncle Sam scouring the globe for someone else to bully. Chances are it’ll be the Russkies again.

          • Nosferatu

Chances are if the US attacks russian forces directly we will all die soon after. US knows it so put this out of the options table. What Putin is trying to do is to fight of a stronger enemy without having to fight him directly. Just wait and see how it turns out. I actualy believe the US is going to end up like the USSR did, with the possibility that the collapse will happen in way more blodier way than it happened with the Soviets….

          • Ma_Laoshi

If I’ll be here next year typing “I was wrong” to you, then it means we’ll both have survived–not so bad all things considered. South Syria went pretty well, though the limitations of the SAA mean that it’s still either/or. And oh Russia will still be bullied until it demonstrates clear limits to what it’s prepared to put up with.

      • Dušan Mirić

I am very much inclined to agree with you, and yet I can remember my grandfather stories from WWII when they were counting every bullet as member of resistance to Germans, Croatian Naszis, Italians…

        • Ma_Laoshi

Yeah and those in the West that at least know the vast magnitude of that conflict seem to misinterpret it as if it points to some bellicosity lurking in the East–a misunderstanding that grows as history is maliciously being rewritten. But it was mostly desperate people doing the only thing they could in the hope that at least some of them would survive. Take care my friend, bumpy road ahead.

    • gustavo

I don’t think so. Syria knows more or less (more lees than more) how to defense itself, but about hit back hummm….. You can see this when ISrael attack Syria at please.

      • Dušan Mirić

Well, I think the issue of capacities for return of a hit is something else. Absence of retaliatory measures against Israel is annoying me, but as someone said “it looks different from a room chair”. I hope all this frequent shipping from Russia replenished their stocks of assets necessary for returning of a hit and for pay back.

  • Sinbad2

The Russian plan is starting to make sense.

Due to topography, the gas pipeline that the US wants to build has to go through Idlib.
Russia sent all of Americas terrorists to the area, the Americans probably chuckled at the stupid Russians, but it’s a trap.
This is the battle where America is finally defeated.

  • AM Hants

To support their friends, who will be laying down the next CW ‘false flag’.

Has anybody seen the ‘tweet’ fromthe Syrian MP Fares Shehabi?

Urgent: These kids were among many kidnapped by the #WhiteHelmets in the town of Zirbeh west of Aleppo to be used as victims in the upcoming chemical hoax. We hold the leaders of US/UK/France directly responsible for their safety… https://twitter.com/ShehabiFares/status/1034028470853099520

    Good luck Syria.

    • frankly

Implied threat: We have other pictures which if released after yet another false flag would hold up well in a war crimes case.

      • AM Hants

They are completely insane, together with thinking they can just keep on doing whatever they desire. With nobody saying anything.

        • Ma_Laoshi

Perhaps, but not the howling-at-the-moon type. They are psychopaths, who don’t acknowledge the humanity of others; if you don’t believe that others are capable of feeling, you aren’t causing any pain now are you? It’s a trait that helps you reach the top in many endeavours. And of course, denying the humanity of others is the standard Talmudic world view, but in that case one is supposed to see it as beautiful tradition, not as a threat to be treated or contained.

      • Ma_Laoshi

Oh please; and who would prosecute? Not long after the last episode, freshly minted war criminal Macron flew to Moscow without a care in the world, and Putin was only too happy that someone important showed up for the football. The powerful do get away with murder. That’s why church invented heaven and hell, to channel the frustration of the rubes.

  • Tommy Jensen

Iran has taking hold of the Hormuz Strait with China Navy back up. US cant get out without asking Iran for permission.

    • Sinbad2

Yes you are asking for it, and that is why Russia will not do it.
The US wants to provoke Russia into a violent act, so the US can pressure other countries into isolating Russia.

Russia gets more support from the rest of the world, by simply nullifying the US attacks.
Almost every day, another country walks away from the American way in disgust.

      • russ

You’re right, it’s the same reason Russia didn’t supply Syria with S400s. Syria is going to win this invasion without escalating it. FUKUS and Israel would like nothing more than to have an excuse to get knee deep in it. We are willing to sacrifice a naval ship and men to amp this up. It is frustrating to see the US ZOG continually cause war.

Encumbered forever by desire and ambition. There is hunger still unsatisfied.

  • ColinNZ

There was a previous statement by Russia that any attack on Syrian forces that had Russian advisors embedded with them would be an attack on the Russian advisers. Therefore, in order to protect their service members, Russia may ensure that any missiles targeting them, as well as the source of the missiles (eg aircraft, ships etc) will be targeted as an appropriate response. Russia needs to restate this imminently and with a firm advocation that such a response is certain.

    • gustavo

For sure, the USA idea is to destroy Syria airfields basis.

Idlib is the relocation zone for the worst of the Syrian based jihadists and foriegn mercenaries – if NATO manufactures an event to ‘defend’ them and attack the SAA it will basically be an overt admission by NATO that the entire ‘war on terror’ has been a giant facade.
