On Sunday, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released 75 Syrian ISIS fighters who had been captured or had surrendered themselves during the Raqqa Battle, according to pro-Kurdish sources.

The fighters were reportedly released at the request of the Raqqa Civil Council in Ayn Issa in the northern Raqqa countryside.

Pro-opposition sources published the names of all the fighters who were released. It’s still unknown if any of them have been involved in war crimes during their membership in ISIS.

Meanwhile, clashes continued in Raqqa city, where SDF fighters killed 6 ISIS members in the Old Raqqa district in the center of the city and seized weapons and ammunition.

In Al-Dir’iya district in the western part of the city, 4 ISIS fighters were killed. 6 others were killed in al-Barid district in the northern part of Raqqa. SDF fighters also killed 7 ISIS fighters in al-Taibah district in the northern part of the city.

On the other side, ISIS fighters targeted SDF positions in Raqqa city with the AGS-17 30mm grenade launchers . Pro-SDF sources revealed that 3 SDF fighters were killed and others 3 were injured in Raqqa city in the last 24 hours .

The SDF has halted its advance in Raqqa city for now after capturing the southern districts of the city. The SDF is believed to be preparing to launch a new offensive from a new direction inside the city.

Now, being released, what are they doing, are they back in their business?

Is their vast experience used to chop on the fields now, or again chopping in the fields? xD

    • Jens Holm

Its probatly like many places in the world. They go back in jobs, if there are any. They are not allowed to carry weapons and be in political organisations. They might have to registrate at the local policestation once a month or something like that.

      • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

That is the most absurd comment i ever heard they do no such thing, thanks for making me laugh it’s like wake up juice for me.

  • Expo Marker

They will probably be sent to defend Deir-ez-Zor against the SAA.

The Kurds and Americans sure want a slice of oil and gas rich Deir-ez-Zor province

    • Jens Holm

      ??

  • Is there anything that demonstrates more clearly that ISIL are American proxies?

    • Solomon Krupacek

      BS.

    • ChicagoThunder1

Not quite but close they are Globalist proxies a culmination of radicals from all over the world some do come from America though. About ten years ago Bill Clinton held a national gang summit. Which was a designed to collect as many Spanish and dark skinned gang bangers as they could get. These people were sent to Saudi Arabia to be brainwashed and trained to kill by Saudi and the CIA Globalist forces. They provide the chaos to bring the change. Basically cannon fodder or useful idiots, the throw a ways. A retired Cuban CIA make up artist and his wife make their uniforms. They live right down the street from me. Two years ago I was out back in my garage working on my truck and twenty or so Spanish guys were out in the alley all dressed in Arab garb speaking Spanish and yeah I’ve seen both Bill and Rahm over there too. The cops bust the drug dealers with say ten kilos but they only get charged for one then nine kilos get repackaged and sent right back to the same crew that distributes the dope back on the street. that’s one of the ways that they fund it.

      • goingbrokes

        Very interesting!

      • Jens Holm

So why didnt they just paint or tan some or only planned them to operate in the dark ?

        • ChicagoThunder1

Because just by looking at them you can’t tell the difference between them. Facial bone structure the nose etc.

          • goingbrokes

And it is a proven fact that Saudis have already used S-American mercenaries in Yemen. Why not elsewhere?

        • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Cubans and Dominicans an pass for Arabs easier than Anglos can , besides they are brown skinned already and features are not that much different.

      • gustavo

If you saw the movie “Kill the Messenger,” you will understand how CIA-Pentago work with the drug all over the world (Afganistan too).

    • Jens Holm

Oh, Yes. They go in Trump T-shirts eating little piggy go to the market burgers too.

If You cant fins Your menthal hospital take a taxi.

      • At least my mental hospital isn’t the size of the North American continent.

  • John Whitehot

it seems that ISIS calls the SDF “PKK”, at least from the captions of their pics.

Somebody should make a certain inquiry that still hasn’t been seen on any blog or social media about Syria and clarify how many Arabs are really fighting in the ranks of SDF vs how many Kurds.

So far the US has always been telling us that the SDF is full of democratic arab fighters, yet they failed to provide any number.

    • Jens Holm

US has never told SDF are full of arab fighters. Numners has been giving several times. last time it was 25% and slightly rising.

      You are right about ranks.

Sekualrism in warfare as well as other matters are about school, education, skills and hard work. You dont come in the top as incompetent or low comptetent arab. The structure is guerilla-infantery.

However USA has raised arabs by helping them more and better with weapons. That because of the Turkisk limitations and they need to be upgraded.

      • John Whitehot

my point is that arabs in Syria are either with the Syrian Army or with the jihadists. There is not a “third” democratic way like the US has been trying to tell us from the start – those that they were calling “FSA” were for the utmostly largest part Al-Nusra.

This means basically that the US won’t be able to subvert the internationally recognized Syrian government without recurring to either fundamentalists (which Russia’s intervention has rendered unable to operate anymore) or the Kurds.

But using Kurds to “topple Assad” is a bad, bad option, as 1- Kurds aren’t interested (Of course until they are made targets of chemical attacks, but nowadays it’s very very risky for USrael such false flag operation) and 2- Turkey would be all mad about it.

There’s still the third way of direct US intervention, but that would put the world on an unreversable course towards nuclear holocaust, which is something nobody wants.

    • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They are exactly the PKK and not anything else foreigners like ISIS many Kurds from Turkey joined ISIS.

The numbers of Democratic Arabs has almost been eliminated and are looking for ways to join the SAA and fight the land grabbing thieves.

The US is blocking them from joining the SAA forces the US is tracking these groups so they don’t join.

      • John Whitehot

if that’s the case no wonder if they become targets of chemical attacks, which Turkey would do with extreme pleasure and the US would pin on Assad without hesitation.
We shouldn’t forget that Syria has given all its chemical weapons to the UN, yet even a mental patient would understand that the CIA or whoever could access those stockpiles and use them to make appear that “Assad did it” because “the chemical signatures”.

I hope it’s just me thinking dirty, but the clique governing USrael already shown its readiness to do worse things.

  • Cheryl Brandon

SDF is a very disingenuous group of men: ISIS is to be jailed not released?? Pro terrorist act

    • Solomon Krupacek
      • Cheryl Brandon

The good peoples of Syria elected Assad in 2014 so, all the opposition parties will have the opportunity in 2018?

        • Solomon Krupacek

i pointed only on the same practice

        • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Terms in Syria are 7 years and not 4 year terms it’s in the constitution , should read it and he can only serve 2 terms.

      • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

        Making another irrelevant comment.

    • Richard Noel Hedditch

ISIS the hope of the USA. USA bombing in Raqqa in support of ISIS.

      • Jens Holm

In his country they bury people vertically with the heads down.

    • Jens Holm

Rubbish. Very limited, censured and simplified world You live in.

So SDF support ISIS? News to me?

      • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They did from the beginning no news there and even participated in some of the massacres why they know where to find the mass grave sites.

    • I think they’re acting correctly because many people just forced to be with isis and they have families and children maybe they not involved in the war,its very complicated isis members understand its the end of terrorist state..ypg they are completely defrent nation.

      • gustavo

        You dream again.

  • Justin Ryan

Why on earth would u release isis fighters?
Even if they were only suspected of being ISIS fighters. U have them labour for u at the very least! Without doubts SDF drop them off in Eastern DEz.

    • Richard Noel Hedditch

ISIS is very dear to the USA.

    • Jens Holm

Because SDF are normal. Its well known as procedure all over the world.

Yours about D.E.Z. is far out.

      • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They were moved to Shadadi and are waiting for more from al Tanf area which will be abandoned eventually. The Kurds always look after their own people, just fact they are corrupt thieves and killers steal from the Arab majority to pay for themselves and their own needs.

      • Justin Ryan

Releasing soldiers of a terrorist group who blow themselves up without a care for civilians, who behead civilians, who force civilians to join or die, who force children to fight and indoctrinate them to their sick ideology!
What do u think releasing them guarantees? That they will not join ISIS again?
That they promise to be good boys and only do good deeds from now on?
“its a well known procedure all over the world” to do what?
Show me where they release enemies whilst the war is going on!
        Do they release criminals?
its normal to release ISIS soldiers?
        Really?
Please educate me! Send me a link where “it is a well known procedure all over the world” to release isis fighters within Syria whilst the forces are fighting isis still to this day and for at least the next year or more!
        Please educate me!
SEND ME THE LINK TO THIS INFORMATION!

Are we really astonished? The reason they were released is because they were assets. In other words, they belonged to somebody.

  • hhabana

Should be sent to work camps. If they don’t like it then firing squad for crimes against humanity.

  • goingbrokes

What this reveals is that there is a deal going on and someone is paying to have these insurgents released. Some suspect Americans but my suspicion falls on the Saudis. They have money to burn and the desire to see their “boys” coming back home to Wahhabi mothership. They want as much fighting talent as possible back on home soil. Americans have no such need or interest. The price must be pretty hefty, I don’t see the Kurds looking after them and releasing them for peanuts. I imagine it will be about 1million each, maybe more, and at least two million for officers. The list of names is either bogus or a list of code names.

    • Jens Holm

barking mad. No wonder Syria is 37 silly flags.

    • gustavo

Wrong, Saudis-Qatar-Jordan-Turkey are intermediaries, USA-NATO-Israel are the main supporters.

      • goingbrokes

What’s the difference between a main supporter and an intermediary?

  • gustavo

Of course, USA-NATO-Israel are the creators of ISIS-Daesh-Nustra and anexas. I do not think any body in the world is surprise about this.
