According to local reports, three of the victims are in serious condition. All of them were hospitalized, including one child and one pregnant woman.

Its possible because Russia lost around 2700 vehicles, of which 400 tanks and 500 IFVs, rest are transport vehicles. Around 1000 vehicles with 8 to 12 solders inside is close to 20k. So it is possible if you have absolute baboons for generals and commanders, russian army was basically served to Ukrainian ATGMs to burn them.
The transports would have had to been occupied to full capacity and every single one would have had to have been totally destroyed including IFVs which are armored, which ATGM would destroy the equipment but not the occupants in most cases (same with tanks). Add to that, Ukraine claims under 800 of its own killed. There is also an injury ratio at least 5-1, generally around 10-1, for every one killed 5 or 10 injured. This would equate to 100-200K injured, even if we suppose half of the 190K troops were combat troops (its usually 10-20% of total numbers), there would not be enough troops to target to hit those numbers. Additionally, fighting has been fairly light after the first 2 weeks and much of it done by LPR and DPR troops. Again you would need a million + combat troops in close proximity to get numbers like that along with extreme circumstances. No way can you hit that number with small arms. I think the 20k count is absurd, which is the most likely conclusion to draw from what we know.
Plus, not a single mass casualty event? We haven’t heard of the attack that killed 2K troops in a single day.
