On February 1, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it had supported a maritime interdiction that resulted in the seizure by “partner naval forces” of weapons that originated in Iran.
In a statement, the command said that the interdiction took place in the Gulf of Oman on January 15, along routes historically used to traffic weapons unlawfully to Yemen.
The seized weapons included more than 3,000 assault rifles, 578,000 rounds of ammunition and 23 advanced anti-tank guided missiles, which were identified as Soviet-made Konkurs or the Iranian copy Tosan-1.
“CENTCOM and partner naval forces regularly conduct regional maritime security operations,” the statement reads. “The seizure is one of four significant illicit cargo interdictions over the past two months that have prevented more than 5,000 weapons and 1.6 million rounds of ammunition from reaching Yemen.”
CENTCOM naval forces intercepted a vessel carrying more than 2,100 assault rifles in the Gulf of Oman in the first week of January. At the time, the command said that the vessel was sailing on a route historically used to traffic “illicit cargo” to the Houthis (Ansar Allah) in Yemen.
In a separate statement from February 1, CENTCOM said that its commander, General Michael “Erik” Kurilla, called the Yemeni Chief of Defense Lieutenant General Saghir Hamood Bin Aziz to congratulate him on the recent successful Yemeni interdiction of 100 drone engines bound for the Houthis.
“These types of interdictions are critical for regional security and stability,” said Colonel Joe Buccino, CENTCOM spokesperson.
The drone engines were reportedly seized at a crossing in the eastern Yemeni province of al-Mahrah, on the border with Oman, late in January.
The U.S. says that its military operations around Yemen are in line with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2216, which bans the direct or indirect supply, sale or transfer of weapons to the Houthis. Washington has been using the resolution to provide indirect support to the Saudi-led intervention in Yemen.
Hopefully that stuff will end up either in the hands of Mexican gangs invading from the south, or in Baltimore so the media can screech some more about ‘gun violence’ in an effort to eliminate the 2nd Amendment. WTH does Yemen thinks it’s going to do with that when the US has already promised the Saudis they’ll do anything they want in order to keep oil shipments coming?
again and again? the iranian morons should finally send two subs and two frigates to escort each shipment, otherwise they will loos the whole shipments like few times in the past
What they are sending isn’t worth much and is left overs. If they send a sub or frigate the Israeli and us would engage it. This would lead to a war. Iran doesn’t want a war.. yet. They need another year or 2, 3 at most. If you have been paying attention, then you would notice Iran and Russia are rebuilding Syrias AA defenses and Radar sites. Iraq is swarming with Iran Backed militias and large parts of the army also support Iran. Turkey Iran and Syria plus Iraq are starting to discuss the Kurdish question together and looking at preventing their supporters from propping up a regional insurrection by the minority group. These states are driven by their own interests which align with eachother for the time being. Specifically if you consider they all have recently called out Israel for arming various groups and indiscriminately attacking others.
By Kurdistan, you mean PKK/YPG/PJAK
Buddy, Houthis have their own weapons and KSA/UAE gave them a lot more.
Also, remember this is a story told by the US – you are taking their words and believing them. Now remember that the US is failure over all, KSA, US, Zion, UAE and some other countries lost to Houthis – let’s remember how much money these countries spend compare to Houthis.
Fun fact, the US gave Ukraine $100B and the EU gave $50B and Ukraine is losing to Russia. It was the same case in Yemen – just compare how much money Wahabis+US spend to Houthis.
Yanquis are lying their asshole off for sure but guess how much that cost? (over all it doesn’t cost that much, nor is it important). But what is important to note is that it is a PR move by yanquis and nothing more.
America seized these weapons and delivered to the Kurdistan Army
USA owns the oceans of Earth… heheheh

They no longer have the ability to say anything truthful, just non stop lies. They serve the father of all lies whom Jesus warned us about. As their own population is being exterminated and they are even killing the children with their poison. Democracy. Freedom. My ass. Freemasonry is satanism.
Yeah, I don’t understand how people even here somewhat believe the US (fuking military) – like this news is coming from the US military that is attacking Iran for years (info war that is). Who can fact check them?
This could be from years of stealing or the weapons the US got to ship to Ukraine but before that why not do a PR as well.
What is your source, SF: The US military. So, SF why don’t you use the US military as your source for Ukraine war? No, the US is lying country that bla bla bla. I still don’t get it, SF also use Zion military as their source… like huh.
Oh, so the US give their horny French dogs a bone to bit on LOL.
“French naval forces in January seized thousands of assault rifles, machineguns and anti-tank missiles headed from Iran to Yemen, officials have told the Wall Street Journal and The Associated Press news agency.”
My take, it is pure PR move and nothing more – I fuking never believe a French or fuking yanuqis.
On what authority does the US intercept the ships of a sovereign power with which it is not at war? Such a seizure is an act of piracy under international law.
The western media only tell lies. This is usually just the opposite of the truth. They are buffoons.
Hope Russia and China are happy with these sanctions they put on Yemen, Iran and NK with their “partners”…….
You catch one but 5 are getting to their destination stupid fucks, that’s how they always do in the smuggling business
