There was no immediate claim for the attacks. Nevertheless, Kurdish forces were blamed by few oppositions activists, as usual.
Tell Halaf, which is located near the border town of Ras al-Ain, was occupied by Turkish forces in October of 2019. The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces showed fierce resistance but failed to hold the region.
The Turkish military and its proxies are yet to take serious measures to secure their areas in northeastern Syria. Dozens of bombings have hit these areas since last October.
