Turkish forces have started entering Syria’s Idlib province under the previously reached de-escalation agreement in the area, the major Russian news agency Interfax reported on September 30 citing own source with knowledge of the situation.

According to the source, Ankara is now deploying units of own military police inside the Syrian territory, near the border with Turkey.

On October 1, the  Turkish conservative newspaper Yeni Şafak reported that a convoy of armored vehicles, communications and military personnel vehicles arrived in Reyhanlı district near the Syrian border. The newspaper added that the reinforcements are aimed at strengthening security on the border with Syria. This was the recent in a series of Turksih military deployments in the area.

Turkey, Iran and Russia reached an agreement of establishing a de-escalation zone in Idlib province during the Astana talks in September. According to reports, the establishment of the zone will include deployment of Turkish, Russian and Iranian forces in the area.

If Interfax’s report is confirmed, the implementation of the agreement has de-facto started.

They are the same in the end.

        • dutchnational

Yes, HTS and turkish mercenaries are the same in the end. SAA and SDF will kill of the armed ones.

      • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Hate to dispel your Myth but there is a sizable contingent in HTS as they will be still the only ones following Mullah Krekar’s orders. There are more Saudi, Jordanians,Libyan, Tunisian, Egyptian and Chechen, etc. than there are Turkmeni.

Sometimes you seem to want to not blame your Hate-filled friends the Kurds they are all from other regions are there for he money and Turkey no longer gets money from the US/KSA/Isrl to pay for the mercenaries.

    • Kawa Asinger

Go Kiss and make up with Turkgay your lovely rapist neighbourhood pedophile worshipping creep 👀. 😂

      • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Talk about a creep and pedophile like Mullah Masoud Barzani and Mullah Krekar are all Sunni Kurds gay and pedos like you , no wonder where the Kurd rump pirate name came from.

        • Kawa Asinger

Masoud Barzani is not a Mullah, so you obviously fucked up there. And mullah Krekar has a hit out on him in Kurdistan, he is seen as a terrorist and a traitor. But I guess it’s typical with Turkgays, they have nothing left to steal. Now they’re trying to steal our morals and ethics, because they’re mongoloid gypsies from the Mongolian steppes. Go back to your Ulaanbataar and throat singing bitch!

Kurds have been mentioned by name since 3rd millennium BC. Turks had no existence back then. I heard your nickname is sweet-cheeks among the sheikhs in the mosque! 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

Assad has been stupid letting Erdogan take part of Syria. He will never get it back or maybe his great grandson will get it back, right at the same time Syria gets Hatay and Azaz back.

On the other hand, if he is giving away parts of Syria to another country that will never give it back, he should have no problems to a federal Syria. That way he still keeps some authority in that part of Syria instead of no influence at all.

    • phoenix

If Erdogan doesn’t give Idlib and Al Balb back to Syria then Russia will bomb Turkey back to stone age.

      • dutchnational

If wishes were fishes, then you would be rich. Otherwise it will not happen.

Turkey is not very strong anymore, but Russia will not bomb Turkey while it is part of Nato. Forgot about that, didn’t you?

        • RTA (Bob or Al)

Turkey is strong when compared to its neighbours, other than that, they like you are inbred useless disgraces to the human race.

          • dutchnational

Sorry but this english is so bad I cannot understand what you are trying to say, but my guess is that it is not very interesting.

        • Solomon Krupacek

if assad is wise, gives afrin to torks for killing all kurds in north syria.and yanks will do nothing against turks.

          • dutchnational

            Another genocide?

Do not worry mate, Turkey will not attack Afrin. They do not dare to incurr the resulting lossess.

          • Solomon Krupacek

            karma

          • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

The Russians gave them carte blanche to take between Kobani and Qamishlo and Afrin if the Kurds interfere with Turkey. The US has made the agreement already and they will have to abide by it so much for the US helping the Kurds in Syria or Iraq.

      • Rob

If Turkey play a role of a leader and bring peace and stability to the region then this is very important because on daily bases hundreds of innocent and stupid people lives are waisting.

  • Jordan Katz

Yeah. Syria might lose out on most of it’s Idlib & Raqqah provinces. Never the less, they are much better off than they were a couple of years ago. Even with the odds badly stacked against them, Syria has survived. That’s a miracle in itself.

    • Pavel Pavlovich

Also, we might forget about an independant albeit small buffer state between Egypt, Turkey and Iran (the future regional players if the US Empire should fall) in the more distant future. But maybe Syria will survive against the odds this way yet.

      • dutchnational

        Perhaps. or perhaps not.

        Time will tell.

        • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

There is more than a good chance than you think be watchful what happens when the US becomes exposed on other things. They are running out of trusted allies among ISIS and there are some whom are believing the nonsense told them.

  • Rob

AMERICA A SHINING CITY UPON A HELL. Where daily people are dying due to
hunger, disease like HIV AIDS, cancer and suicides. Mental abnormalities
are ridiculously high. That is why they have made the life of other
nations in the whole world a hell.

    • Attrition47

As long as none of the can be seen from the Hamptons, the US boss class doesn’t care.

      • Thegr8rambino

Lol u are 100% right, so sad

  • Ronald

Turkish troops are Sunni , some Wahhabi Sunni , and we know that HTS and the other jihadists are definitely Wahhabi Sunni , so will they actually fight , or will this just be another PR “battle” , as between SDF and ISIS . HST ( Al Qaeda ) , then saves its assets to fight SAA and Iranian troops .
Because of Erdogan’s inclination towards Wahhabism and support of ISIS and Al Qaeda this stinks .

  • Mountains

Turkey have been provided with fake intel and have been tactical mislead into talking them to enter Idlib. They have kinda declined to enter after realizing how huge the sacrifice will be.

Both SAA and Russia are reluctant to enter Idlib due to knowlegde and experience because they know the place is extremely fortified, over trenched, over mined and to many tunnel systems.

Turkey could loss ridiculously large number of soldiers in Idlib. WHICH brings us back to why both SAA and Russia are unwilling to enter. plus the turk soldiers have not seen war in their lives and are not as battle hardened as the Russians and SAA who have been going for 7-years and imagine if they themselves are unwilling.

I’m in off the opinion that Assad is willing to give Idlib to Turkey because it has no use for him at the end of the day. The part he gave to Turkey I don’t think he wants it

    • mhtsaropinigitakis

the forces that are in idlib now are turkish mercenaries you know…all those fortifications are made for the turks… in idlib turkey has only allies…that why they dare enter there.

      • Mountains

No not really. If they enter they will be put to the sword it’s as simple as that

        • mhtsaropinigitakis

i relly hope turkish army will suffer huge looses by i am afraid they wont…they are entering a friendly teritory

    • dutchnational

As a lot of the comentors here are very worried about legalities when they think SDF or whomever are doing something against Assad, my question to you is :

Is it legal for a Syrian president to give away part of his country or should he be shot as a traitor to Syria.

    • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

That’s why they destroyed 5k+ killing nearly half 100’s of vehicles 100+ strong points nearly a 80+ weapons depots and will continue to decimate HTS and it’s allies, so just keep dreaming Porky. Their days are numbered and more keep leaving HTS and Abu Zaid runs a weaker grouper after most left already.

  • Thegr8rambino

Good I hope they keep the rats from getting any ideas or trying to expand
