Last night, Turkish warplanes reportedly destroyed 12 targets in northern Iraq. A part of the targets was destroyed in the area of Qandil, which was recently included in the area of the Turkish military operations.

On June 11, President Recep Erdogan declared  that Turkey had launched operations against the PKK in both Qandil and Sinjar regions in northern Iraq. These areas are well-known for being strongholds of the PK in northern Iraq.
