Time to hit the southern flank.

    • jorge

Time to make many sieged urban pockets and to dig deep around, if they don’t surrender.

  • Superfly

No more ceasefires, eliminate the terrorist scum.

  • Deo Cass

To be honest I’m not noticing any real change from the previous map. If any, I notice that the area of Nashabiyah which in the previous map was marked as having fallen to the Syrian government forces is now being shown as again being under the terrorists while all the adjacent areas are now being shown as contested. Can you please explain?

    • jorge

Perhaps Nashabiyah is the first of a lot of soon sieged urban pockets, but, if now the map is correct, yes, that information was missing. Thanks for the exercise of looking maps, but look again. For example, in Harasta more at least 200 meters, to south of the vehicules manutention. On south east and half of the east, the progress it’s much more clear.

    • Joe Doe

I don’t see too much changes in the map either. I know urban war is not easy an this case is even more complicated by Putin orders, fight in Russia Embassy hours. This will cause more casualties and takes a lot longer.

      • jorge

Look at the line like that: – – – -. Aleppo was even more urban field. I think is going to be fast, again.

      • John Whitehot

” is even more complicated by Putin orders, fight in Russia Embassy hours.”

lololololololol, after running out of idiocies you start with sheer madness?

        • Joe Doe

Look moron, people like you are danger to the society and to the world and you have nothing to offer except stupid reply. You have base everything on ideology and you can’t recognizance between wrong and right, which is the same thinking as terrorists. Put simply, you blind on everything.
FYI, no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. The same goes for Putin. Criticism other person decision is a one form of discussion, allowing other person review their decision and maybe corrected if the decision was wrong or could be approved.

          • John Whitehot

            Lmao.

Wtf is this? the trolls rebellion?

“FYI, no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes”

really, then why the fuck you criticize only ONE party? why in your illumination about human mistakes you feel the need to avoid criticizing the part of humanity that has created all the conditions to make the world a butchery?

in addition of having said a total bullshit argument in your previous post, because in fact your kind does not even have anything rensembling a point.

Stay put in your shithole bitch, and don’t even talk about those “don’t risking their lives”, because whores and serfs like yo stay with their asses in the warm trying to provoke more quarrels, more fights, and generally increase the level of tension in the area and worldwide.

            you goddamn jew servant.

          • velociraptor

I agree with Joe Doe, you belong in prison.

          • John Whitehot

            of course you do.

            jewnazis.

          • Joe Doe

  • Joe Doe

Looks like there is a small packet in Al Nashabiyah. I would not leave such packet in urban area. Most likely there many tunnels links

  • antoun

SAA is perced “the digue of the death” at east the lines djihadists!!! important!!!

  • Xanatos

It’s horrible how they use women and children as human shields. Standard Israeli modus operandi.

  • Tudor Miron

SAA is doing well. Latest reports indicate that Al-Shifouniyah is contested at this moment. I suspect that soon we’ll see another example of Russian military traditions regarding dealing with cauldrons – dissect it into smaller pockets and eliminate each isolated piece one by one.

    • John Whitehot

right; in any case the practice about cauldron isn’t a Russian only peculiarity, it’s the most effective set of tactics in this particular scenario.

I know that in your comment you refer to soviet manuals of maneuver warfare; nonetheless, nowadays, commanders must have the utmost flexibility in their approach, because technology, organization and experience give them many means to solve the same tactical problem.

Soviet doctrine called for tactical tasks going down the chain of command, it was a centralized way of disseminating orders that worked well for a certain period and situation.

It seems to me that Russia has learnt a lot about modern warfare in these years, and we are seeing this knowledge applied to the Syrian theater.

Petolucem actually made this map before they finished in the region, so don’t get your panties in a bunch. Haven’t found anything to support Petolucem’s new map , but have heard Pechora Air defense base is captured it’s between Shufinyah and Utayah on the east side.
