Tiger Forces Continue Rapid Avdance, Liberate 5 Villages And 3 High Points From ISIS (Map)

The Tiger Forces and their allies have liberated 5 villages and 3 hills from ISIS in the Syrian province of Deir Ezzor, according to pro-government sources.

Government troops have reportedly liberated the villages of Khutaytah, Abbas, Mazra’at Shamr, Qit’ah, Mujawwadah, the Nusuriyah Mountain and the hills of Bani and Khinzir.

Thus, units of the Tiger Forces and the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) outflanked the ISIS-held village of Jalaa – one of the last ISIS strong points in the area.

The SAA and the Tiger Forces are now in only about 12km from reaching their counterparts in the area of al-Bukamal.

Earlier, government troops liberated the villages of Salhiyah, al-Jadleh, Qusur Um Saba, Safsafeh, Ajrama, Wadi al-Worod, Maan Al-Sabkha and al-Shamr al-Layeh as well as the the al-Ward oil field in the same area.

The rapid advance of pro-government forces show that the ISIS defense de-facto collapsed in the Euphrates Valley.

    Rapid advance ? Well, relative to what ?, a snail ?, a tortoise ?

    • Promitheas Apollonious

are you suggesting that you can do better from your couch right?

Do you make an effort to sound like a retard or it just come natural to you?

      • Jack P

Right this isn’t a video game.

        • Promitheas Apollonious

no is not you are absolutely right.

          • Jens Holm

None says. If You count meters pr day my Grandmother could be in the front with a couple of light RPG`s in her handbag.

          • Tudor Miron

Than deploy her and prove your point or stop moaning.

          • Jens Holm

The Palmayra – Sukna was 400 meters a day. She is still regaining from there in a Turkish tourist destination.

So far she has bought a Turkish tourist camel and learn to shoot with machinegun from it. Later it is the plan, she will join the special force as ISIS hunter.

Even dressed in Hijab it is easy to recognize her. The camel has no ears and tail. It had. i think :))

          • Tudor Miron

She should join that elite baltic states anti isis squad.

      • Jens Holm

Facts are there has been no advance for many, many days. ISIS has stopped them or SAA & Co had no more troops or suplly for it.

Then today and yesterday, they advanced.

I can only see the critisism of Gustava as some trauma.

      • Solomon Krupacek

yanks made better. so, kurds + usa > saa+ruskies

        • Kristy Rain

          Wat?

        • Lex

          kurds+usa+ISIS are better, of course!

          • Solomon Krupacek

no isis. this is bullshit. then i could write also saa + ruskies+jihadists, because assad made lot of deals with them. also in aleppo countryside isis left strategic towns for saa. the fact is, saa is not able to fight isis as good as kurds and iraqi soldiers.

          • Lex

Goals are different. Aleppo needs to be save a lot of lives. East of Euphat needed for US for block link between Syria/Iraq/Iran and control oil fiels (main target of US in Middle-East). So US agreed with ISIS to allow SDF to advance oil fields without any resistance and evacuated top militants from area under attack of government forces (as in Irag also).
“saa is not able to fight isis” is full lie. More then 90% area has cleared by SAA with allies. It is FACT.

          • Solomon Krupacek

same goals. in aleppo the main question was to save the soldiers lives, in raqqa detto.

          • Lex

Raqqa has been wipe out by carpet bombing of US AF.

    • FlorianGeyer

Let me know if you have had to destroy a car bomb speeding towards your house today :)
Or was it just the postman ?

      • Jens Holm

Its classig to cover all against those cars 1) drive away fast 2) knock them out 3) make digged walls, so they cant come close.

        But SAA still dont.

        • PZIVJ

Far out, thanks for the tactical advice :D
Most ISIS car bombs are destroyed at range by the SAA.
But #3, not real very realistic to build a wall every 5km across the open desert when you wish to advance past it! Your #1 is for the SDF.

          • FlorianGeyer

Jens is Danish PZ14. We to make allowances for that :)

This is war rapid advance means consistently capturing enemy territory.

  • Attrition47
  • Serious

    It’s slow.

    • gold37

That is because the forces in Al-Bukamal itself are stagnant. We on the other side won’t know why that is till it happens, maybe a broad assault onto the east against ‘SDF’? A ‘Kirkuk’ like operation or are they just a shell force and the resat heading to Beit Jinn, Dar’aa, Idlib fronts? Diplomacy is the reason of the pace.

  • Bernd Herzog Römhild

gustavo. Die Armee hat dich schneller Überrannt als du Sehen kannst. Da sind Experten am Werk. Keine Möchtegerne. Und sie wird nicht Halt machen bis sie den Teufel Ausgetrieben hat.

  • gustavo

Do you remmeber how fast SAA moved to stop Turkey advance to south Syria ? Do you remember how fast SAA moved to get Deir Ezzor ? Do you remember how fast SAA move to to stop USA advance near Iraq border ? and several more. ¿ How did they get this fast movement ? with the cordinaton of aerospace Russia force and ground troops. Because of this strong protection and support they were be able to advance fast. Well, the same could do here to get Al Bukamal, and I did not see ever the interest in doing this.

    • Daniel Castro

You can either advance slowly, steadily with few resources, or you can advance fast spending a lot of resoruces.

War isn’t about speed only, it is about resistence too, if you over do it you might defeat yourself.

      • Lex

War is balance between strategy and tactic. Russia shows good strategy while US – not. We see map. Advance tempo and point is result both strategy and tactic.

  • Bernd Herzog Römhild

gustavo Vielleicht Erinnerst du dich an 2014. Syrien war schon Verloren. Ein Ausbruch auf allen Linien brachte die Entscheidung. Und die SAA ist nicht stehen geblieben. Und sie Steht noch immer nicht. Der Emsige Löwe Syriens.

  • Solomon Krupacek

untiô you are discussing here, israeli missiles rain on syria, 3 resaersch station destroyed, also 1 S-200 launcher. and russians smile, putin smiles….

    • PZIVJ

      No doubt you are happy.
So can your small square head fit inside a round bagel?

      • Solomon Krupacek

        why should i be happy?!

isreal is desperate state. should be hard punished.

  • John Brown

Better to advance carefully to minimize casualties on ones own side when there is no time urgency for the advance.
