On July 29th, in yet another escalation, three DPR fighters were killed and one was seriously injured in shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Soldiers of the UAF’s 93rd Mechanized Brigade carried out shelling with 120-mm artillery on Novaya Marievka and as a result struck DPR positions.

“We strongly recommend that the Kiev soldiers refuse to carry out the criminal orders of the command and observe the ceasefire in order to save their lives. We urgently demand an immediate response from international observers! Until the Ukrainian militants are held accountable for their crimes, the terror of the Donbass population will continue.

We are sorry to inform you that as a result of the shelling, THREE defenders of our Republic were killed and ONE with multiple shrapnel wounds was taken to a hospital in Donetsk. We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the killed servicemen.

We call on international observers to record another fact of violation of the ceasefire by the Ukrainian invaders, which resulted in the death and injury of our servicemen, and to get the Ukrainian side to strictly observe the existing agreements and refrain from escalating the conflict,” a statement by the DPR said.

Then, in accordance with the Minsk agreements, in order to protect the civilian population from the shelling by the UAF, the DNR NM units were forced to return fire from weapons not prohibited by the Minsk agreements and suppressed the enemy’s fire activity.

As a result of retaliatory actions, a mortar crew of the 93rd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was struck, three Ukrainian servicemen were injured.

Donetsk also accused Kiev of claiming to support a ceasefire, but doing everything it can to impede such a development.

“From the side of Kiev, false statements are constantly heard about its commitment to the course of a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbass, but the terrorist methods used by Ukrainian militants indicate the opposite. UAF again attempted a terrorist act against our Republic,” the statement said.

Over the last several days, there have been daily violations by the Kiev side, with dozens of mortar shells being launched in 27 occasions over the last 7 days.

On July 24, it was reported that Ukrainian security forces fired a mortar on the western outskirts of Donetsk, damaging a residential building.

On June 27, a woman was injured as a result of shelling by Ukrainian security forces in Horlivka, controlled by the DPR.

An escalation is brewing, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed laws on establishing “national resistance” and expanding the size of the Armed Forces.

“The next and extremely important stage in the SOF development should be the implementation of the two new laws that I tabled in parliament as urgent, adopted by constitutional majority. These are the laws on the fundamentals of national resistance and increasing the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Zelensky said.

As such, more forces are soon to be ready for potential hostilities in Eastern Ukraine.

Forget so called international observers, they are part of the problem, they are like the three wise monkeys.

Do you remember the Swiss Mercenary, was he called John Christensen, or something like that, when he was taken hostage, posing as a neutral observer?

Swedish/Danish NATO mercenary/observer John G.O. Christensen identified/arrested/freed. – Google item if interested.

AM Hants

Oooops, meant Swedish not Swiss.

Get the cauldrons warmed up. Remember this time, back in 2014? Seems like Kiev and NATO need a reminder.
