It seems that the public rhetorics of the Russian side has finally started to reflect the real situation on the ground in the Idlib de-escalation zone in Syria.
During a weekly briefing in Moscow on February 7, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova expressed concern that terrorists are working to get full control of the entire Idlib de-escalation zone. She pointed out the recently reported efforts of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Horas al-Din and other terrorist group are considering creation of the unified command in order to start preparations for a large-scale military operation against government forces.
According to Zakharova, terrorists also cotninue to amass chemical weapons in stockpiles along the contac line with government forces.
