The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies have liberated Rasm Naqa, Rasm Arnab, Jafiah, Rasm Rik, Ghuzaylah, Haba, Um Sous and Um Huwaysh villages inside the ISIS-held pocket in eastern Homs. However, ISIS still keeps positions in its central part using rugged country in order to counter the SAA advantage in military equipment. Without additional reinforcements, government troops will likely need another moth to break the ISIS resistance there.

Near Deir Ezzor city, the SAA consolidated control over Nashad and Mazlum villages on the eastern bank of the Euphrates and entered Hatlah Tahtani village where a fighting is ongoing. If the village is secured, government forces will be able to use it as a launching pad for further attempts to secure Saqr Island and fully besiege ISIS in the northern part of Deir Ezzor city.

On September 26, Russia’s Tu-95MS strategic bombers carried out missile strikes on ISIS and the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda (now known as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham) in the provinces of Idlib and Deir Ezzor. The bombers flew over the territory of Iran and Iraq and used Kh-101 cruise missiles to destroy “command posts, troop concentrations, and military equipment, as well as ammunition depots” belonging to the terrorists, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

Meanwhile, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) captured the crossroad town of al-Suwar located in 50 km northeast of Deir Ezzor city and crossed the Khabur River. Controlling Al-Suwar, the SDF will be able to secure the northern flank of the SDF assault force that would advance towards the border with Iraq.

In this case, the ISIS strong point of al-Busayrah as well as the nearby oil fields become a target for SDF operations.

In Raqqah city, clashes between the SDF and ISIS continued in the central part of the city. ISIS also conducted raids against SDF positions in al-Sinaa and al-Mashleb neighborhoods.

Last week, pro-SDF sources were spreading info that ISIS was holding civilians in a municipal stadium and using them as human shields. Now it seems that the US-led coalition’s airpower considers it a legitimate target.

Start bombing those land grabbing SDF terrorists.

    • Richard Noel Hedditch

      Indeed.

      • Jens Holm

        bork

    • Jonathan Cohen

SDF and Russia are allies in the defense of abortion rights in the oil fields, as is most of the USA. Our common enemy is ISIS and HTS (including any americans caught supporting them.) Syria and Russia are opponents on abortion rights and so will have little reason to cooperate after the defeat of ISIS.

      • Deo Cass

What a truck load of garbage is this?

        • testera

His mother did not have abortion rights, so he became an activist. By activist I mean comment section spammer and bullshit generator.

          • gustavo

Please, do not pay attention to Cohen, he is just trying to deviate the discussion with this abortion right statement. Do not pay attention to him.

        • Jens Holm

Cohen comes now and then and it only about abortion. Seemes like he is born as unwanted and prefare other should feel dame thing.

      • Tudor Miron

I will ask you once again – why it is so important for you to kill unborn babies that you keep posting this BS again and again?

        • Jonathan Cohen

          To save Panda bears.

    • Deo Cass

Russia does not have the guts to do that even though the SDF are foreign illegal seditious mercenary terror groups intent on destroying the Syrian state and stealing and looting its natural resources. Russia did not even respond to a direct act of war by the US which defiantly assassinated a leading Russian general major. This means one thing. Russia is incapabable of defending itself let alone Syria. Rissia is irrelevant. We need Hezbollah and Iran to lead abd advize the Syrian army. At least they have balls and do not fear US/Zinist tyranny.

      • Solomon Krupacek

Russia does not have the guts to do that

        russia is squeamish

      • gustavo

Yes, it is a little disappointed the attitude of Russia and Syria related with oil field in Omar. SAA had three full weeks to cross the Euphrates river and stop SDF advance, and SAA did nothing but full treating that it was about to cross the river. Now, SAA is completely blocked by SDF (kurds, USA-puppets), and ISIS will just deliver these field to SDF. It looks like as if this things were arrange before hand between USA-Russia or something like that, or it can be an stupidity like that one of Palmyra. There is not excuse since Russia has the capability to protect and support ground troops wherever they go. Syria-Russia-Iran-Hezbolah have made a great fight against ISIS-Daesh-Nustra and moderated terrorirsts so far. The contribution of aerospace russia force is unquestionable, but I thinks the Syria tactic sometimes gives a lot to say.

        • PZIVJ

          Why be so pessimistic?
The SAA is NOT completely blocked. There is the route SE from the bridge head still open through Al Tabiyah along the river. The SDF may be held up trying to secure their gains at Suwar, etc.
          GO TIGERS GO :)

        • Valery Grigoryev

I suspect, that the sharing of territories between SAA and SDF spheres of influence was already secretly negotiated and agreed between Russian and American headquarters (and may be with Turkish as well). That could explain some strange behaviour of the both sides…

      • Tudor Miron

        Deo Cass,
You can call Russia this and that, but that would not change facts on the ground. Hezbollah and Iran were helping Surya but that didn’t help much (government territory was rapidly shrinking) until Russia entered. Just wait and see what heppens. If your so unpatient that it is impossible to wait and have balls bigger than Mother Russia :) than why don’t you go help Surya yourself? War is not like catching flea, it requires some patience.

    • Jens Holm

Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Lityania, Ukraine, Hungary, DDR, Bulgaria, Rumania, Caucasus and Sibiria ????

      • Tudor Miron

What’s that fart in a puddle is about?

  • Rob

America is there in Syria not to liberate Syrian land from ISIS but stealing land from Syrian nation.

    • EL ZORRO

The America DEEP STATE/Israhell want to steal the Syrian land and OIL FIELDS DEPOSIT.

      • Deep state = CIA/NAZI-SS/Rothschild/Rockefeller government.

        • Jens Holm

hahhaha. ghartwell is water in 1/4 speed = slow ?

And You are putting in a cigar as well. too much for a oneliner.

          • Ace

If you translate that back into the original Scandinavian, Jens, maybe it will make more sense.

      • Jens Holm

Thats how thieves and other criminels think.

    • Jonathan Cohen

Syria has no right to ban abortion, which gives SDF every right to defend abortion rights in the oil fields.

      • Valery Grigoryev

Fuck the abortion rights, and those who is flooding here.

      • Rob

Abortion mean to kill an unborn baby called fetus.

West are used to kill already born people but now they have passed this kind of lageslation that unborn baby should also be killed.
        So strange behaviour.

      • Ace

Yes. The BIG issue in Syria – abortion. I see it now. And the SDF. Pro “choice”!

        • Jonathan Cohen

abortion rights dwarfs all other issues, certainly economic system.

    • Jens Holm

Assdad and his corrupt mafiosas could just have resigned and gassed themselves in stead of others.

      That had solved a lot.

  • Deo Cass

Seems it is all agreed between Russia and the US to let the Western colonial imperialist Zio/Nazis steal and loot Syrian land and its vital natural resources. The Russians are wasting the Syrian govenment troops time and human resources on insignificant objectives on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates river while leaving the gold mines to be stolen and looted by the US/Zionist/SDF/Kurdish/ISIS coalition who simply pretend to be fighting ISIS, namely their own selves.

    • J. Laoshe

First you finish isis and you make peace with the local Arab population . Don’t worry now about the oil fields because turkey,Iran and Iraq will not let the Kurds enjoy what the US gave them. The oil fields will come back into Syrian hands at the end if the Syrian government plays the game well.
The Kurds were a major contributor to defeat isis , and the Syrian army needed them and it’s much safer to not start a conflict with them at this point

    • Jens Holm

Not much to steel exept if You want asphalt and prefare sulphur in the air.

  • John

The war is being played out according to Russian and Syrian strategy. Like Hezbollah and the Iranians, they are very patient. The bombings by the Israeli cowards will, in time, be atoned for . . . same for Palestine and Gaza. That is what makes these nations and fighters strong, wise and undefeatable. Patience is key. The killing of the Russian general will have a very hefty price on Israel, The USI and ISIS. Two years ago there was very little of Syria under the control of the people and government. Look at the map today. And, each day, that map is expanding in favor for the great Syrian fighters and their brave allies. All of Syria will be freed from the rabble that started it all, Israel and its proxy, the USI, The United States of Israel. Syria, Palestine and Iraq are the cradles of civilization and no bunch of late-comer arrogant pigs will alter that. The USI is in rapid decline, and Israel, the baby-killing nation is on it last legs of very bad breath. And to think once upon a time I loved Israel. Sure glad I got over that propaganda . . the chosen people. Lord, lord, what a bloody joke. After this battle is over, then it is on to take back the Golan Heights and Jerusalem. And with a bit of luck, trap the child killing bastard, Netanyau and hang it out to dry.

    • Jens Holm

Are You sure Your globe is round and not filed with dirty hair.

      • Tudor Miron

Jens… it was much better here while your jweish hatred towards Goyeems wasn’t present. But keep spreading you anger – hatred is rotting yourself much faster than you may think.

  • gustavo

If SAA’s are not be able to get Syria oil fields in Omar, the GREAT VICTORY of Syria-Russia-Hezbolah-Iran ground forces will become only a victory, and that is.

Can a nation win many battles and loose the war ?

    • Solomon Krupacek

      carthage

    • Jens Holm

Rubbish. They are not thieves like You and Your mafioasa in Damaskus.

The oil is taken from ISIS which took it from Assads himself. And why ? Because SDF wants ISIS out and dont want to wait and wait from the slowfoxing Russian/Hesbollians/Iranian cirkus of SAA+SyAF and one boat from their navy.

      Thats how.

    • Valery Grigoryev

      Yes.
      Germany in both WW’s.

  • Xanatos

At this point shelve all plans of recovering any inch of land lost to NATO (hiding behind Kurds).

Just finish Isis. Then finish idlib , which had already been partitioned. Then wipe remaining pockets.

NATO occupied Syria will be targeted by an Arab insurgency. They will be armed by Syria, turkey, and Russia. NATO will have to pay billions a year and have nothing to show for it. The Kurds will have no way to survive economically as they won’t have any way to export oil. They will need billions a year just to remain on payroll.

    • Jens Holm

I cant see we are hiding as Nato at all. We in Europe could take all the peacefull Syrians You and we has as refugees.

The we could send some of them from here, You dont like too.
