The US-led coalition is desperately trying to prevent the Syrian government from restoring control over its borders with Syria and Iraq. Since Friday, US-backed militant groups, also known as the Free Syrian Army (FSA), have repeatedly attacked the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies near the Zaza area, the Zuluf Reserve and the Scientific Research Battalion area. However, government forces repelled attack, killing unknown number of militants and destroying at least 4 vehicles belonged to the US-backed groups.

According to pro-government sources and available photos, the so-called opposition actively uses Switchblade suicide drones against government troops in the area. This means that the US Special Forces are involved in a standoff with the SAA.

Following a failed attempt to drive government forces out from the Damascus-Baghdad highway, US-led coalition aircraft dropped leaflets warning the SAA from moving towards the border town of al-Tanf and arguing that government forces have to withdraw from the Zaza area. Thus, the US-led force deployed in the area once again confirmed that its real goals have little with combating ISIS terrorists.

On Saturday, SAA deployed the 800th Battalion of the Republican Guards in the eastern Zuluf reserve area. The battalion 800 is among the best-equipped units of the SAA. Its deployment in the area shows that the Syrian military is not going to abandon its attempts to restore control over the border area. Meanwhile, government forces also took full control over the village of Alyania and the nearby area.

While the US-led coalition was opposing the Damascus government, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) liberated the town of Al-Qahtaniya. The goal of the PMU advance is the ISIS stronghold of Al-Ba’aj, 36km from the border with Syria. Some experts believe that the expansion of the PMU influence over the Syrian-Iraqi border will contribute to the Damascus government seeking to drive out US-backed militants from the area.

In the province of Aleppo, the SAA Tiger Forces have liberated Ras al-Ain al-Ahmar, the sugar factory, the train station and other points near the town of Maskana, the last ISIS defense site in the province. Warplanes of the Russian and Syrian air forces targeted ISIS units and their vehicles inside the town of Maskana, and in the villages of Al-Taybeh and Al-Hamidiya. Local sources indicate that ISIS may withdraw from Maskana under a threat of a full encirclement by the SAA. However, if ISIS terrorists decide to defend the town, the SAA may just outflank it and continue advancing towards the province of Raqqah via the N4 highway.

Warplanes of the Russian and Syrian air forces targeted ISIS units and their vehicles inside the town of Maskana, and in the villages of Al-Taybeh and Al-Hamidiya. ISIS destroyed a SAA battle tank with an ATGM.

The SAA has repelled several ISIS attempts to infiltrate in the Tal Brok area and destroyed a vehicle and killed a number of ISIS militants during the clashes in the Al-Makabir area in Deir Ezzor. The situation in the besieged city remains tense. If the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) allow ISIS to freely withdraw from Raqqa, the SAA in Deir Ezzor may face a critical threat to their safety because the ISIS storming group will receive large reinforcements.

Last weekend, reports appeared in the Russian media that the SDF may allow ISIS to withdraw from Raqqah under another deal with the terrorists group. The SDF denied the allegations. However, the group’s deals with ISIS in Manbij and Tabqa don’t allow to believe that the US-backed force is not considering this option.

The SDF under the auspices of US will allow ISIS to escape Racka, as a means for US to redistribute their boots on the ground towards Deir Ezzor. The effort in the south should include the enlargement of the Zaza area and the elimination of the Sweida bulge.

    • χρηστος

Raqqa is a lost cause for isis…..they will fight just to say that they fought….they are totally surrounded. They will move elsewere to continue their fight.the us will allow them to be on the Syrian iraqi border.for some reason they dont want syria and iraq to have common borders.

      • Jesus

The US may allow the ISIS to escape like they did many other times, why, they are convenient boots on the ground, even though US is “fighting” ISIS?
I believe the Russians and Syrian air forces will not make it an easy escape.
Yes US wants to control borders because they can control the flow of men and weapons going into Syria.

        • Jens Holm

Its more like too many boots on Your head. I wonder why ?

      • Rüdiger Preiss

Some reason? That reason is the so called “Shia Crest”. If Iran, Iraq and Syria are working together Israel will get very nervous…

        • Jens Holm

Very strange conclusion and totally irreleavnt. Israel is always observant and bomb and are involved for years according to Syria as well as Lebanon.

There is no real shia crest as well. Im sure sure Assads just want some help and Iraqian Shias – as they socalled modern version of Shia – get help and dont want Iranians to take over much more.

          • Rüdiger Preiss

How comes that the US are openly preventing the SAA and Iraq’s PMU to secure the border between Syria and Iraq? this would badly interrupt the flow of ISIS fighters and arms. If Syria was able to secure all borders, the terrorists would be doomed. you’d think this would be in the interest of everyone except the terrorists???

        • Zack Sh

Israel has the ability to defeat syria, Iran and the lime with the push of a button. Realistically Wtf is wrong with all of you over there. Why not just respect each other as humans and co exist. We do it every day. Its not that harc

          • Rüdiger Preiss

Nobody is saying that Israel doesn’t have this ability, but with a strong “Shia Crest”, they might have to withdraw from Golan and offer the Palestinians their own state instead of ghettos. It’s not only about the “ability to defend”. Iran, Syria and Iraq are capable of becoming strong (independent from the monetary fund) economies, something the predatory capitalists (topped by Israel) wouldn’t like at all, especially the risk of losing the pressure of illegitimate sanctions (E.g. the UK owes Iran £500 million on undelivered tanks since 1979 – sanctions are a good excuse not pay). So yes, Israel would get nervous if these countries were to get good trade deals and make more and more friends around them – this would definitely put increased political pressure in Israel to solve the Palestinian problem and eventually negotiate a peace deal with Syria. This won’t happen, because it is 1000x more convenient for Israel to have a balkanised Middle East with small autonomous regions which would not pose any significant economic, political or military threat. But I totally agree – it would be nice to respect each other as humans and co-exist. Unfortunately this won’t happen as long as one exists above the other. Zack Sh, I understand as Israeli you’ll probably never understand this.

          • Zack Sh

Yes the Palestinians should have a state as should the Kurds. But until all these people Israel included learn how to live in the same vicinity of each other this is what we will have. Israel will never give up Golan its too strategically important. With a soon nuclear I ran on top of that it would sign their demise. I’m american non religious and co habit my country with all sorts of assholes and morons. But thats the thing they are what they are and i am what I am. And I respect their right to life liberty and the same freedoms as myself. This is the main problem with these religious or nationalist societies that form their laws on either heritage or religion. You wind up oppressing others in the process.

      • John Brown

It’s not some reason. They, the empire want to have a
corridor, so they can have oil and gas pipelines from Saudi Judea Arabia and
Qatar to Europe and cut off all Russian oil and gas exports to Europe. Iraq and Syria both refused. This is
why Russia is ready for all out nuclear war directly with the USSA and the
racist, supremacist, Zionist, Jewish, empire and will not back down one inch. If the racist,
supremacist, Jewish, empire and its slave vassal the USA won’t back down, nuclear
war is guaranteed very soon. Russia’s vital national security interests are at
stake and the vital interests of the USA are not at stake. Also Russia needs to
prove it can defend an ally or it won’t have any. Dumb Assad should have asked
Russia for more help much sooner the then he did.

        • Tom Tom

Yes, nuclear war. I think so unfortunately. Ezekiel 38 and 39 war. Damascus a ruinous heap.

          • grumpy_carpenter

if anyone lets fly with nuclear weapons over this conflict the targets won’t be in Syria. No one is going to sacrafice Moscow, Washington or Tel Aviv for Damascus. It won’t be tactical either, no sense to risk destroying civilization using nuclear weapons when conventional weapons do the same job without the risk. Thinking you can slowly escalate or limit a nuclear war is like entering a who can hit softer contest with your mortal enemy. it’s gotta be a bolt out of the blue all or nothing then head for the basement to ride out the retaliation kind of strike or nothing.

          • John Brown

Russia’s vital Interests are at stake they are not going to allow a country they have mutual defense pact like NATO with to be conquered by the empire because if they allow it, Russia will lose all their allies. Russia will also not allow the loss of their oil and gas markets in Europe so Russia is willing to have a nuclear war over it no question.

Do you think the USA would just and say “hey we are not willing to sacrifice Washington DC if Russia or China were to invade Canada, take away Canada as an export market for the USA and deploy thousands of duel use so called defensive launchers which can also be used for first strike nuclear tipped cruise missiles all along the USA Canada border”.

            You have your answer!!!

If the racist supremacist Jews running the USA and Israel think as you
nuclear war is guaranteed. Do not mistake Russian restraint for weakness. Russia can destroy the USSA and the rest of the slave vassal states of the racist supremacist Zionist empire 10 times over.

          • grumpy_carpenter

Do you think the USA would just and say “hey we are not willing to sacrifice Washington DC if Russia or China were to invade Canada, take away Canada as an export market for the USA and deploy thousands of duel use so called defensive launchers which can also be used for first strike nuclear tipped cruise missiles all along the USA Canada border”.

Using conventional forces yes but nuclear….. not if you have any strategic awareness or will to live. The only time using nuclear weapons makes any sense is if your country is in danger of being overrun conventionally and your entire civilization is at risk. Once you let fly against a nuclear peer that’s the end of civilization for a long, long time.

It’s not the end of life on this planet in fact it’s a catalyst for the further evolution of life on this …… just not human life or western culture.

“If the racist supremacist Jews running the USA and Israel think as you”

I disagree completely that “racist supremacist Jews” are running the USA. The US government is controlled by capitalist interests, mostly in the energy, MIC and banking sectors. Some of them are Jews some aren’t. AIPAC has a lot of influence in the support of Israel but in order to believe ‘racist supremacist jews’ are in a conspiracy to run the USA you have to ignore the influence of every other rich asshole living in the USA.

“Russia can destroy the USSA and the rest of the slave vassal states of the racist supremacist Zionist empire 10 times over.”

Yes they can but not without suffering the same fate themselves. Not a big deal if your ambition is to end civilization and be buried alive in your bunker just so you can say “I won” but if you enjoy sunshine and not dying starvation and radiation sickness not so good

          • Jens Holm

            Normal nr 3. Thank You.

We might throw some light A-bombs there and hope they change some genes.

          • John Brown

Grump carpenter racist supremacist Jews do run what was once the West the USSA, France Germany etc It is very obvious these days I can prove it to you no problem. Do you want me to start naming them providing
links? Its too bad this site won’t allow me to post large documents for you. The USA is not a capitalist country it used to be not any more. It’s a soviet Zionist racist supremacist Jewish dictatorship. Do you even know what capitalism is? Have you read the wealth of nations? The economic
in the USSA is system is mamonism.
Who owns the private Federal Reserve? Why does it say Federal
Reserve note on a dollar in the USA and not United states note as it use to
when it was a capitalist country? There is no USA dollar it is the Federal
            Reserve Jewish dollar.
There are some stupid collaborator Goyims in the USA government
placed there for dummies like you to say hey its only 99 out of 100 not all Jews etc., but the majority of the criminal elite running the USSA etc. all racist supremacist Jews. They have almost all the top positions on all the important top corporatists and levels of government that are important ln almost 100% of the top posts on all the top corporations and levels of government that matter the USA and state governments, Bilderberg the CFR AIPAC e tc . That is if you can bother to actually do some research on your won and think for yourself which I doubt because the Jewish matrix most likely has you
and your fragile ego can’t admit you have been fooled. I use to be just
as dumb and misinformed as you but I have the ability to learn and will accept any new idea if it can be proven by facts to be true.

            part 2 for you Grump.
To all Slave Goyims like Grump on this board, if you don’t already, I suggest you study the Jewish Press – the ones based in Israel – in order to get a full
understanding of what they routinely plan in respect to the Stupid Goyim. Don’t take my word for it, see for yourself. See below nothing beats the confession.

It is where I get almost all my info. You’ll usually see them admitting things
that would never make it into the Jewish owned American or Western media, and if you’re not up on the Zionist, Jewish, racist, supremacist, empire, their rantings of hatred and racism for all Goyim and bragging of their murdering millions and millions of goyim and their total control of countries like the USA, Britain France, German etc. in their global empire it can be quite enlightening, indeed “We must not forget that some of greatest murderers of modern times were Jewish,” Plocker started out by saying. He went on to make a number of startling confessions:

So that you learn how Israel and its Lobby are plotting against Britain and the Brits. So you learn about our treacherous MPs who are shamelessly serving a foreign state and its foreign interests. Ask yourself, how is it that the most important news about the institutional betrayal of our political system is delivered to us by a Qatar TV network? Shouln’t it be The Guardian, the BBC or The Daily Telegraph that look into these matters? Is it a coincidence?
The Israeli Embassy told us that Shai Masot was a junior employee. Watch this video and judge for yourself, he seems to run the entire Labour Party.
Britain must probe the activity of the Jewish Lobby and the Israeli Embassy immediately !!! And if you want to understand why this plot is embedded in Jewish culture just read this.

When you watch Part 3 you may want to ask yourself what is it that drives the Shabbos Goy within the labour party and beyond? Is it greed? Is it power seeking? What is it that pushes Brits to become servants of a foreign despotic state?

When you watch this final episode you must ask yourself how is it possible that British media has remained silent? Would it also stay silent if Shai Masot was a Russian or an Iranian’s agent? Asking the above questions may suggest that you are at the footstep of the understanding of Jewish Power and its negative impact on our society.

Rubbish and Iran is a desportic religios overcorrupt regime and not an Empire – not even near. More like grass in bread make Your stomach full and Your visit at the toilet normal, but You get thinner and thinner.

Nr 2 normal people at this article.

The best advice for all muslims fighting and mainly killing each other making only reforms, which try hard to make time where better hay for cars was and invension as well as only was for lamps – would be to go home and deny Jews and Americans run all the buisness.

But You dont. Look at the Iraqian flag. Where is the third flag uniting arabs. Look at the facts. Most in the areas are only able to act in old Emirate level as 100 years ago or more behind. How many silly flags and warlords do Syria as well as Iraq, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Mali, Niger, Pakistan, Afghanistan have.

And whats the main thing for those hardly countries. They are all dictatorship muslims good old days. After some killing each other, they start from reforms according to 500 years ago and dissagree with the ones, which preafare 1800 or 1800 years ago.

For the moment they want to move supplies through Al Tanf so they can fight ISIS farther East. Both sides should concentrate on fighting ISIS first. they have plenty of time to fight each other after.

No, US will not. They have bombarded them again and again and a week ago they made a raid pr helicopters. Dont You have internet. You must be very hard censured not knowing that.

The US has been fighting IS for how many years?2-3 in Syria alone. IS has taken over almost the whole of IRAQ in days. Where was the US to stop them?targeting goat farms in the desert. Lets face the facts. US either doesn’t want to destroy IS cause it suits their agenda or they have the most incompitent airforce, inteligence network, whatever, in the universe….which one is it?The Russians on the other hand have done so much damage with significately less means (a fraction of what US and its allies have send to ‘fight; is) that it would take the US 30-50 years to keep up.

    • Jens Holm

Only 5 in the world believe that US/ISIS

  • Nigel Maund

The crunch will come when the SAA has to shoot down USAF jets with S300 to 400 and Pansir hand held air to air missiles. The nonsense claim that the US is targeting ISIS is hollow as all their other claims and is just a smoke screen to thinly mask their real objectives which are the weaking of Assad’s Government and the Balkanization of Syria for their own political and economic ends including: Israel’s ME agenda; the oil / gas pipeline and destruction of the Assad Government and installation of a US – UK – Israel controlled Syrian puppet Government. All is this is obvious and they will not give up this agenda at any price.

    • Hrky75

Neocons are praying daily for that to happen – they would announce the new 9/11, and I’m afraid the general population is just stupid enough to buy that. Syria, Iran and Russia are playing 4D chess with The Axis of Terror (US-EU-Saudi-Israel) and it was always going to be a long game. Patience is important, and good coordination with the Iraqis – I’m glad to hear Qasem Soliemani is coordinating PMUs offensive. In the end of the day all US bases are on Iraqi soil and I wouldn’t like to be in their shoes if they manage to piss off 10 million Iraqi Shia – again…

      • Nigel Maund

Good commentary; I agree with this but one day the US will overstep the mark and commit a serious event which will b.e obvious to all; at this juncture Russia and Syria will be forced to act in some commensurate manner as the US has been repreatedly warned as has Israel

        • Hrky75

They will overstep the moment their hubris makes them butt heads with Iraqis again – but not in the air, on the ground. US operations in Syria relies on Iraqi bases. And US supply lines and bases in Iraq could never be defended with the present level of US troops in the country. The rioting Shias could make the whole system ground to a halt…

          • Jens Holm

That could be changed as well and there are many other methods then military ones.

        • Jens Holm

Well, some days ago I heard that all Nato now supported it(apart from turks) said by jens Stoltenberg himselves.

Overstepping goes the other way too. SAA was bombarded the other day overstepping.

      • Jens Holm

You could wear sandals. Jesus did. He wasnt good in tying knobs.

        • Hrky75

I suppose Jesus wasn’t good in tying KNOTS!!! The only KNOB around here is firmly fixed on your neck. Peace be upon you…

    • Jens Holm

Arrrrh. Those happy new years can easy be bombed for recýcling if the levels get that much up. You just send in 5 drones in at the same time or something. They have almost no chance.

    • TS

The Pansir missiles probably will not deliver a knockout punch for a US jet due to size and countermeasures, but if used skillfully do some damage (causing months for repair). The object is not to expose all one’s cards and not to infuriate the enemy, when drawing some blood is a better response.

      • Nigel Maund

Fair comment! However, the Russian military are armed with these on their Western Front, so they will have addressed this matter as it is of major concern against the US and NATO; therefore, I would not like to test the theory!

        • TS

Do remember that ‘export arms’ are not the same as those issued to the Red Army. As for this “western Front” it is more games than real and very political. The expelling of Diplomats and ‘closing of ports’ (denial of licenses at a fair rate) through Estonia and Latvia is more concerning and will ultimately backfire as the little guy, the voter is getting a major wage decrease. As for these war games, they take land that is not paid for at a proper rate (the impact is not just the yearly production as the earth compaction harms the soil for years). This year’s ‘social impact’ will really piss off the locals, as these exercises bring in the ‘professional girls’, and a lot of Russian type language will be heard with a certain dialect..

The USA is now very far from being the greatest country on earth; they are a downright international warmonger, bully and international terrorist. Indeed, the US sinks deeper into the mire of its own collosal war crimes with every passing day. Eventually, it will, like Nazi Germany become a victim of its own collosal hubris and I for one can’t wait for that day to come.

I think you’re about to get a reality check this fall when the US financial system implodes. Power, is relative. Rome thought this in the 4th Century and the the Barbarians defeated their Army totally and raised Rome to the ground and destroyed the Empire which had stood for 600 years. The Egyptians thought the same thing until immediately following the reign of Ramesses II their empire fell to peices amidst Assyrian invasion and comprehensive defeat of their Army. The US is going completely rotten from within and you can be assured they will collapse sooner rather than later.

          • Jens Holm

The world imploded 1929 started in New York. Almost all the world did too. And USA came up again as many others did.

Also, all empires once thought themselves both invincible and eternal. Rome, Britain, in their heyday they dominated the world. The British ruled a 1/4 of the world, an empire on which the sun never set. Where are the Roman and British empires nowadays? What goes up, must go down again. It’s inevitable.

Apart from writing nonsense, challenge one single item:

The USA is the world’s leading contender for wars, conflicts and chaos and the below:

            Child Poverty:
US child poverty is worse than in any developed country anywhere, including Greece devastated by a Euro crisis, and below eastern European nations such as Poland, Lithuania and Estonia.

For Child Poverty the US ranked at the bottom, above only Romania, children in all of Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan fare better.

            https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2014/10/29/child-poverty-in-the-u-s-is-among-the-worst-in-the-developed-world/?utm_term=.c4b015804b76

            Poverty:
The US has more percentage of people living in poverty than Morocco and Albania.

Officially, 14.5% of Americans are impoverished, 45.3 million people according to
the latest US Census data. America’s poor are more often in their prime working years or in households with single mothers.

            Pensioners – Seniors:
The elderly in the US are in dire straits with 1 in 3 seniors who are poorer today versus 50 years ago when it was 1 in 10.

            Healthcare:
55 million Americans cannot afford Medical Insurance and live on the fringes of civilized society:
            https://www.cms.gov/newsroom/mediareleasedatabase/press-releases/2015-press-releases-items/2015-07-28.html

More American women are dying during pregnancy and childbirth. For every 100,000 births in the United States, 18.5 women die. Saudi Arabia and Canada have half that maternal death rate.

            Social Security and Welfare:
66 million Americans depend on Social Security to survive their daily life:
            https://www.ssa.gov/policy/docs/quickfacts/stat_snapshot/

More welfare recipients (109 million plus) in the US. than full-time workers:

According to the Census Bureau, there were 105,862,000 full-time workers who were outnumbered by 109,631,000 getting benefits from means-tested federal programs,

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as SNAP, is the formal name for food stamps.
            https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-03/food-stamps-still-feed-one-in-seven-americans-despite-recovery

            http://www.marketwatch.com/story/most-americans-are-one-paycheck-away-from-the-street-2016-01-06

            Education
The US is near the bottom in a skills survey by the OECD which examined other developed nations.

In Skills Outlook, the US placed 16th in adult literacy, 21st in adult numeracy out of 23, and 14th in problem-solving.

            Prison population
Rank of US is First out of 224 countries

More than 2.2 million Americans are in jail. Only China with a huge population comes close with about 1.66 million.

            Wealth Inequality:
Median adult wealth in the US is 27th out of 27 high-income countries, putting it behind Cyprus, Taiwan, Ireland, Spain, etc as well as most of Europe.

Per capita median income in the US ($18,700) is also relatively low and unchanged since 2000.

The US has the Fourth highest wealth inequality in the world. Citing the Gini coefficient, a common inequality metric and data from Wall Street Journal/Mercer Human Resource Consulting, this inequality slows economic growth, impedes youth opportunities, and ultimately threatens the nation’s future

The US has a worsening income inequality evident in the ratio of average CEO earnings to average workers pay. That ratio went from 24:1 in 1965 to 262:1 in 2005.

Compare real GDP (PPP) with other countries instead of GDP, you’ll
notice that the value of the US (petro) dollar gives the illusion that
the US economy is larger than it really is. This also gives an
unrealistic image of the US military, yet Russia procures a greater
quantity of military hardware than the United States or any other NATO
member on an annual basis with a defense budget that is just 1/10 the
          size of the USA’s.

      Reality check.
Neither you nor [North] America represent ‘the people’ of Syria or their interests in any manner. North America has wrought utter destruction on Syria by years of sponsoring Islamist militant factions. It takes a lot of CIA and Saudi money to run a seven year multi-front war against a state army – billions in weapons and munitions – that are shipped into Syria every month bought from Bulgaria shipped to Saudi Arabia flown to Turkey and illegally driven into Syria for distribution to extremists. That’s the US tax dollar hard at work – arming Islamist militants.

      • Jens Holm

Yes we do represent this and that by United nations Human rights as a very good and overwhelming example of they are non existing or very low in Syrian and hardly existing for parts of the population.

That was why united nations was made in the first place. Turks hasnt signed it.

Syrians are humans too, even some seems to be in the low end.

When did UN Assembly last formally sanction USAF for illegally bombing both the civilians and military in Syria?

          • Jens Holm

            Its totally irrelevant

          • Bob

Not really. If, as you claim, you somehow represent the Syrian people and their political will via the UN Humans Rights Commission – a body on which, incidentally, Saudi Arabia have sat since 2016, the very same KSA that finances and recruits personnel for the worst Islamist militant factions inside Syria.
The UN Human Rights Commission have not condemned the USAF’s repeated arbitrary killings of Syrian civillians in bombing raids – the numbers of casualties in Syria is actually far higher than US admits – as documented in most recent Amnesty International report for 2017. That is before the negative civilian impact of USAF air strikes on major Syrian infrastructure is even brought to the table.
Point being, if as you claim, the UN Human Rights Commission actually represents Syrians, despite having the very NATO/GCC states who facilitate militant factions inside Syria as key constituents on the board, then that UN body has singularly failed Syrians. By not censuring a third party – the US state military – that is in clear and repeat process of illegally entering Syrian airspace and engaging in actions that have killed Syrian civilians – and indeed SAA soldiers (a definable international act of war).

USA has only one direction to go now. It’s quite clear the “influence” is no more expanding. Losing even one puppet will put it in a world of hurt, and over time US congress, CIA, WH and Pentagon and their boasting is becoming increasingly more irrelevant. The next century will be the century of Eurasia without outside influence.

        • Jens Holm

I cant see that at all.

          • cortisol

No one denies that US isn’t currently the number one mega power in the world. However it’s power is decreasingly based on benevolent partnership and increasingly on iron fist, demanding, blackmailing and bribing. This development has taken place out of necessity because the fundamental policies of US are immoral, destructive, wrong and cause great pain all over the world, increasing bitterness towards Americans.

Speaking of the dollar, no one denies that is the number one currency. However in reality this system means that the rest of the world acts as a piggy bank for the US, from which it can grab “stuff” for free just by printing it’s currency. The reason why I say losing even one “partner” will begin a downfall is that the US financial system is greatly overleveraged based on controlling half of the hemisphere. If you start removing chunks, the system will begin to crack. If you go far enough, most dollars around the world will eventually start returning to the mothership with speed, causing hyperinflation (as US currently ships most of its stuff elsewhere) and a great depression following forced reduction of money supply. This is in the cards I see, and why I’m looking for signs of cracks in the Empire’s outer perimeter.

But the US et al are supporting the Jihadist to rape and destroy the country of Syria.
So how is this right ?

      • Jens Holm

There is no country named Syria. Its treated as private proporty in best corrupt mafiosa style killing everyone it wish and doing it hard and during many years having an umerta organisation at the top.

But for sure I saw Syria on the map !
          How is the garden ?
You need to keep out those vile Jihadist pest. :)

  • Hrky75

It’s very important for SAA/allies not to expose too much of it’s vulnerable flanks (and boy do they have those). A dash to As Suknah and then to Der Ezzor would be just that sort of thing – exposing SAA elite troops and it’s supply lines on a 200km stretch of an indefensible desert road with ISIL attacking from all directions. As for SDF striking a deal with ISIL in Raqqah, I guess the Russians didn’t release those videos of bomb out desert convoy just for good publicity – maybe it was a “subtle” warning to bearded tourists not to make the woring turn on a desert road from Raqqah. That’s a sort of mistake that could get one some unexpected virgins…

    • Jesus

SAA and allies outnumber FSA by a good margin in southern Syria. They can widen their controlled territory and expose their southern flank to possible FSA annoyance as they slowly advance eastward; moving eastward exposes the weakness of FSA, since they do not have adequate numbers to cover the length of their front. The matter in south Syria needs to solidify by the decimation and defeat of the FSA.

      • Hrky75

FSA in the south doesn’t have to hold any lines or protect any towns. They can literally do desert style drive-by shooting making nuisance of themselves. Their job is to be a possible threat to SAA right wing. Having said that, I agree that SAA should clean up as much of Suweida pocket as possible without provoking US to bomb them. Once PMU clears the Iraqi side of the border FSA and US SOF position in Al Tanf will become untenable and they’ll have to run to Jordan…

        • Jesus

I believe SAA and its allies can deploy close to 100,000 men on the southern front, they need to approach Tanf from 3 directions, from the west sweeping (after securing Sweida bulge) FSA residue from the border, from the East and from the North. You are right, PMU working in Iraq will make the situation very difficult for the US and their “boots on the ground”.

          • Hrky75

Are you joking? 100K soldiers? They only deploy around 250K around the whole country. I’d say right now they deploy a unit of divisional strenght – 10-12K tops. Anyway there’s no need for as many troops in there and it would be logistically impossible for SAA to field them. US proxy army in Jordan is a couple K tops. Desert warfare is pure math – liters of water and gas supplied and spent per soldier per day. Few roads = shortage of supply = not a lot of men…

          • Jesus

By the figure I provided I implied SAA and allies can have such forces available, the extent of their usage will depend on circumstances. I read the FSA is about 20,000 strong, desert warfare is not that prohibitive, you need water and fuel, not much ammo if you are not doing any serious fighting.
What is the concern with the SAA right flank if the American proxies are a couple of thousand strong?

          • Jens Holm

hahahah. Those in the desert are probatly the only one they have. Im sure they are less then 2000. To me 2.000 is a typical overestimated Assadish number, so loosing now and then seems more understandable for the ones, which believes in Assads.

They told they were 400 and at that time You should add 125 americans with good airsupport making raids or something.

          • TS

Advertised as up to 6k (4K green or re-trained.., but how do you re-train a CaptaGON freak?)

          • Jesus

Desert warfare within 200-300 kms of friendly logistics should no be prohibitive, flow of supplies and munitions should not be an acute issue even without a good road network.
Wherever tanks and escorting vehicles go, tracked supply vehicles can follow them.
If supply lines were much longer, then supplies become problematic.

          • TS

A lot can happen in 6 hours by road (2-3 hours by helo). just saying. Staying 15-30Km out of al-Tanf and digging in makes a point and a possible diversion. Notable it is withing drone area of deployment for al-Tan. They should spread out and make any attach difficult to get attacked even by air. Information is key to all these operations.

          • adam77

Supply is where the US excels. they might not even need Al-Tanf and be able to airlift supplies to FSA forces fighting ISIS farther East.

          • Hrky75

I agree, but even US needs to think in terms of cost-effectiveness from time to time. Air supplying several Ks FSA in Syrian desert just so that those guys can be in a way of SAA offensive or pull an odd raid towards Palmira or Suwayda is not sustainable in the long run. In addition most of US logistic bases are in Iraq – and serious effort to disrupt Syrian-Iraqi offensive would make US a hostile force in the country. They’d have to vacate Iraq and reposition in Jordan – and that would mean that, whatever happens in the end, Iran will have won the war…

          • Jens Holm

Rubbish again. ISIS has stopped the advance east to Deir El Zor even SAA has consolidated its Octupussy out there.

USA are or was 60 km from there. A threat ???? Some ballon seemes to be
blown up again containing same broen and yellow stuff.

          • TS

.. But the US has re-positioned into Jordan. Maybe they don’t like being watched in Iraq.

          • Hrky75

Not completely. They still have 20K troops and 5K mercenaries in Iraq – with accompanying logistics. Jordanian operation is much smaller, but I agree it is about to get bigger and more important…

          • Jens Holm

They can fly direct in from USA and parashute dump it as well as using Jordan.

          • Jens Holm

Allies could be Iraqians and a water pipeline…hahahah

Inflation. If they get 2 or 3 wifes each and wait 18 years and 9 months it will be through. If many are chosen by having twins it might also take 18 years and 9 month.

Hahahahhahaha. If you neéd a job, i can contact my worst enemies.

        • Jens Holm

hahahahahah. 400 started and many are dead. A threat hahahahhahah. The main reason is to cut any ISIS suplly. Actually they are helping SAA by that – even its not meant as such.

      • Jens Holm

So are they allies or just gangsters too….

Flank = syrian or pretender. Has never heard how easy its to destroy flanks as well.

    • adam77

ISIS on the flanks will have NewSA closing in from the South and SDF from the North. Sure they will have to guard those flanks but that is why they can’t afford to run simultaneous offensives in the North and South but advance East from Palmyra ONLY.

      • Hrky75

I have a funny feeling that once SAA commits it’s troops to one of several possible axis of advance both SDF and NSA would take five and let ISIL reinforce it’s defences or even attack through their lines.

        • Jens Holm

So go back to Your menthal hospital. Funny feelings like that is far out. At that time most ISILS probatly already will be dead – and it will be “whats next”.

          • Hrky75

Try using English – although I doubt we would understand your brain droppings even then…

      • Jens Holm

I agree with You last words. Focus at important things and mainly getting back to Eufrat there in a secured connection. They then could make Palmyra to an airbase and after that restart Deir El Zor airbase with repair and some fuel. 100 km east from there by jet-sigtseeing at 400 pr hour are 15 minutes extra each way.

    • Jens Holm

      Same again. Far out.

When I read “flanks” and “fire control” its always Assads, which has no idea of warfare for real total indoctrinated to stay in a low level somewhere before june 67. Same things for tanks.

very infecyed to name thos troops as Elite. Elite compared to what. Probatly the low level of many of the rest of them.

You would have no chance against nazi tanks such as tirgers, leopards and elephants from WW2 because You are reduced in education/skils by religion and culture.

None in the rest of Syria as well as the rest of the world has seen any sign of ISIS retraet or has ever heard about it.

If Kurds had joined ISIS or something, Assads would hardly be Emir of Latakia.

  • Tom Tom

    Russian bombers get busy!

    • Jens Holm

Seems like You are kind of mild nuked already.

  • Smrda

If the Kurds dare to make such an agreement with ISIS again, i think this time they should be added to list to be dealt with (to kick sh#t out of them, like with any traitors), of course after defeating jihadi scum.

    • Dustil schmit

Why only SAA can make withdraw deals with terrorists?

      • Smrda

Because we know where terrorist go afrerwards, most certainly in Idlib province, hence it is much easier to deal with them, and in this case, we all know what is the scenario, i mean for DeZ, and it is made in USA, and Kurds are stupid to allow being just an instrument in implementing sick bloodthirsty and oil thirsty Pentagon policy.
Btw, just consider latest SDF statements, just like they are said by those White House spokesman sh@tholes.
Also, SAA should keep in mind that Kurds betrayed them many times, directly.
This action would be one of those, a direct back stab.
Just remember Menagh base siege, and those 70 unfortunate SAA soldiers trying to escape to Kurdish controlled territory. They are all exchanged for 3-4 irrelevant Kurdish fighters, and served on a silver plate for jihadi slime, for humiliation and execution, every single of them!
For me, Kurds are just opportunistic land grabbers, and i hope every day they will pay for it one day.
Long live great Syrian people, and brave SAA heroes!

        • Jens Holm

          bork

          • Smrda

What argument is “bork”? Fortunately, it speaks a lot more about you than me.

      • John Brown

The SAA don’t make deals with ISIS.

      • Jens Holm

They dont. They trade area and people for area and people and the fightings can go on having less small enclaves.

    • Jens Holm

There is no such at all. Remarks like that should be honerated by crusifying people upside down.

  • Jens Holm

So why do Assads dont throw turks out.
