ISIS is on the verge of full collapse in southern Syria. Over the past few days, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) led by the 4th Armoured Division and the Tiger Forces, have liberated over 30 villages and settlements from the terrorist group in the area west of Daraa city.

Government troops have liberated the towns of Saham al-Jawlan, Tasil, Hayt and Adwan, the villages of al-Jumou and Maziraa as well as multiple nearby points. Then, they also advanced in the direction of al-Shajara, which is one of the few remaining ISIS strong points.
A source in the 4th Armoured Division told SouthFront that over 600 ISIS members have been eliminated by the SAA, backed up by the Russian Aerospace Forces, since the start of the operation in the ISIS-held pocket.

75 ISIS members have been killed in the recent clashes between the SAA and ISIS in eastern al-Suwayda, according to the province’s governor Amer al-Ashi. He added that many civilians are still missing following the large-scale ISIS attack. According to the updated data, the civilian death toll as a result of the July 25 incident has grown to 215.

Hayyat Tahrir Ahrar al-Sham, Jabhat Tahrir Suriya, Suqour al-Sham and Faylaq al-Sham agreed to set up joint operational headquarters to prepare an attack on government forces positions in the Idlib de-escalation zone, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in Syria says. According to the Center, the attack may be carried out “simultaneously in several directions – the mountains of northern Latakia, al-Ghab valley on the border of Hama and Idlib provinces and areas west of Aleppo”.

According to Syrian sources, up to 6,000 members of militant groups could be involved in the expected attack. The Russian side is also expecting new provocations involving chlorine and other poisoning substances in the case of renewed clashes between the SAA and the militants.

On July 26, Aldar Khalil, co-president of the executive body of the Movement for a Democratic Society (TEV-DEM), told the Kurdish Rudaw TV that Kurdish forces in northeastern Syria are ready to participate in any military operation of the SAA in the province of Idlib if this brings them closer to retaking the Kurdish area of Afrin from Turkey-led forces.

TEV-DEM is a coalition of several Kurdish parties in northeastern Syria, including the well-known Democratic Union Party (PYD). Together these parties lead the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), which is the political wing of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Khalil’s statement is another indication of the SDC’s attempts to improve relations with the Assad government, which have become complicated because of the tensions between Damascus and the US-led coalition.

Most of those ISIS terrorists cornered between The Golan Heights and Jordan are in very ugly situation now, I don’t think Israel will save all of them, I mean they will certainly save some of the most valuable leaders but the vast majority will either die fighting the SAA or by the Israelis themselves, you’ll see.

Mmmmmhhh but what about Jordan??? Can Jordan come to their rescue???, what do you think guys???

    • Len Zegelink

i dont think so .jordan ,hate ,s the isis scum .let them go to their boss israel.

      • Sinbad2

I doesn’t matter what Jordan likes, they will do what their American masters tell them.

      • georgeking

They may hate them but they are USoA/Irealie Whores with Syrian blood on their hands. Karam will come, Syria may play nice with Jordan, Turkey and the Kurds but will never forgive or forget who put knives in their back.

    • Sinbad2

I think Israel has been saving ISIS fighters, and transferring them to Jordan, under the cover of saving the White Helmets.

Why would you broadcast that you got wind of the enemy’s plans? Shouldn’t one prepare an ambush in such a case? Or escalate the de-escalation zone a bit, and bomb the operations room and staging areas? Or have the moderates already started bragging about their attack before it even happened?

    • Sinbad2

American intelligence would know that Syria knows of the upcoming attack, and they would tell the terrorists. Meanwhile Russian intelligence would know that the Americans know.
Then of course there is Syrian Lebanese Iranian Jordanian, Saudi Arabian and Israeli intelligence agencies. In today’s world of satellites cell phones drones etc, it’s impossible to keep troop movements secret.

The only people who don’t know are the general public, so there is no point in keeping it secret.

Makes sense, except for how often in this conflict loyalist positions have been overrun in surprise attacks. Maybe you’d argue that this is the difference between a deadly but limited hit-and-run affair, ordered up by one local commander, and a large-scale offensive involving thousands of moderates, which simply cannot be hidden from modern surveillance. I still say whack them before this gets off the ground; good thing your friendly local SAA rocket artillery seems to be already on the job!

The many many various, religions, tribes, that make up Syria, their S.A.A., S.A.A.-A.F., Iran, Lebanon, Iraq, Russian allies, ect. Have made amazing progress against Terrorist sent from all over the World and supported with the last r st high tech weapons, Israel and the US-COALLTTION Navies and Airforces. Plus support and troops from the biggest armies in the middle-east. In the last two years.

I am sure Syria will love and rember its friends, hate and never forgive its external enemies. Sadly the US has created in a large, educated, well armed, battle hardened group of nations Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and yes even Russia, generations of people with just cause to had us and wish us ill Karma. Also add Yemen to this list.

And all for Israel, gold, oil/gas and greed.

We were very very wrong, guility, and Evil.

So sad for my beloved Country, a hundred thousand deaths and broken US soldiers in Vietnam taught us nothing.
