Russia is deploying the military police from its Republic of Chechnya to Syria according to an amateur video appeared in the Social Media on December 7. The video allegedly shows preparations of over 100 Chechen military police members before their dispatch to Syria from the military base in Hankala, a settlement near the Chechen Republic’s capital – Grozny.

According to reports in the Russian media, Chechen fighters will guard crucial infrastructure, civilian and military objects in Syria. Russian experts suggest that at least a part of Chechen fighters will be dispatched to the city of Aleppo. With the full liberation of the city, the Syrian-Russian-Iranian alliance will have to improve humanitarian and security situation in the city damaged by the war.

Earlier, the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced that some Chechen units already operate in Syria along with other units of the Russian Special Forces.

In total, Syrian government forces liberated from militants 50 neighborhoods of eastern Aleppo, the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria announced in a statement late on Wednesday.

Last evening, the Syrian army and its allies further peneterated Jaish al-Fatah defenses south of the Aleppo Citadel and liberated the neighborhoods of Bab al-Nayrab, Salheen, al-Qasileh and the al-Madi station. Meanwhile, the so-called “Aleppo rebels” asked a 5-day ceasefire for as they said “the medical and civilian evacuation from the eastern part of the city of Aleppo”. In other words they want the time to receive supplies and reinforcements. Because the only reason why civilians cannot leave the militant-held area of Aleppo via established corridors is that the so-called “rebels” prevent them from this. There is a little chance that the situation could be changed during the ceasefire.

The Syrian army and the National Defense Forces have liberated the village of Hawsh Ash Shalaq and cut off the road between al-Shifuniyah and Autaya in the Eastern Ghouta region of Rif Damascus province. Now, the army and the NDF are developing their advance iin the direction of Hawsh Dawahra and the nearby military base. If government forces succeed in this, they will be able to use the Duma-Hashabiyah road to operate in the region and to pose multipletactical threats to remaining Jaish al-Islam forces.

Putin is sending his worst – the Chechens. They fought against him in early 2000s and then became his allies. They are incredibly brutal and thuggish and Chechnya is a caliphate in its own right (forced marriage of teen brides, no alcohol sales allowed).
Aleppo will meet new misery with these guys.

    • Percival

He should have sent the Slavs.

      • Barry

Russian army must be diverse since Russia is. but it is never a good idea to rely on thugs. they cut and run more quickly and what is to say they will not turn like the mercs they are?
also, Slavs might be hapless fighters whereas these guys are born killers.

        • Percival

The actual Russian NATION is Slavic and Christian, though. The Russian STATE includes other groups, but the core of Russian identity is white, Slavic Eastern Christians. The Russkies are the most loyal because Mother Russia is their ancestral home.

          • Barry

yeah, but Russia is now chock full of Chechens and other ex jihadis and its armed forces are the same. the fact that they are sending this group in particular speaks volumes, unfortunately.

          • Percival

It’s too bad. I wish Putin would enact stronger immigration laws and restrict the flow of Muslims from the Caucasus and Central Asia into the heart of the country. With Slavic birth rates very low like the rest of the West, this is a recipe for disaster. These Muslims, as a minority, may be loyal to the State, but once they become to dominant, Russia will be in great danger.

I truly wish the Kremlin would stop attacking nationalists and patriots who speak out against illegal immigrants and Muslims flooding Russia. These people ARE Russia. It is their land.

          • Barry

Putin seems to think his Muslims are ok. Once they gain a certain mass (10 or 15 percent), they start pushing beyond welfare and more immigration. Then they want publicly funded mosques, halal food in schools, and much more.
Russia is just finally gettin g birth rate up but a good number is non Rudsian. Read a good article about it.

          • Percival

I know. Putin has given benefits to women so that they can take time off to have children, but the people benefiting from it are the foreigners. I like his initiatives supporting Christianity and suppressing LGBT perversion, but this is not enough. If Russkies go out of existence and are replaced with foreigners, Russia will no longer be Russian. All white nations are facing down the barrel of a gun right now. Unfortunately our leaders would rather import replacements than heal the spiritual sickness causing our people to not reproduce, but rather engage in recreational sex, drugs and alcohol. Very sad. I hope things turn around. If something doesn’t change within the next 10 years, I fear all of our nations will be gone for good. Within 150 years, there will probably be no white Europeans (including Slavs) left.

          • Vuki

What a nutty comment. Some 45% of USSR was Muslim. Chechens are white just like the Bosnian Muslims –forced conversion during the Turkish Empire. Prince Potemkin kicked the Turks out of Southern Russia (Ukraine now) and out of the Kuban and Caucuses.

        • Charles Fasola

Where’s the back up barry? Did you fight in Chechneya? Since you appear to have first hand knowledge concerning everything Chechen. Have you prior experience in the kill zone with “mercs” “cutting and tunning”? I know ya’ saw it in a video game.

          • Barry

I do not play video games. Not even as a child. Nor have I ever shot a gun at a human being, so no, I am no expert on anything of the sort.
I work with Russian ex military and ex soldiers of other countries too. I also read the media.
The man who pretty much singlehandedly runs Chechnya is the son of a jihadi turned Putinista who was killed by his own people.
            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramzan_Kadyrov
            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akhmad_Kadyrov
The son runs it like a medieval fief, allowing his top men to be polygamous and marry girls against their will:
            http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3085992/Teenage-bride-forced-marry-polygamous-ally-Chechen-warlord-threatened-kidnap-did-not-comply.html
Putin likes him because he keeps the peace and drove most of the jihadis out (to Syria).
Those are facts. People like you who worship Putin think he runs Russia with hearts and rainbows. Not even he says it. When he takes calls on his famous yearly call in TV show, Vlad brags about how he restarted and won the Chechen war. He jokes about Kadyrov and Russians are ok with it bc they fear the Chechens.
That is whom he is sending to Syria.

          • Charles Fasola

His father was a jihadi? Keep spreading the bull barry. Wikipedia, yeah, a very reliable source of information. Laughable at best, total misinforation at worst. Which are you spreading?

          • Charles Fasola

I do not worship any person first of all. People who spread lies like yourself I despise however. And those that use western controlled sources show their stupidity, daily mail, what a joke.

          • Charles Fasola

You are also quite an islamophobe as well. You are not worth further comment.

        • Vuki

Are you an idiot making comments like this. Russians are Slavs so are Belo Russians and Ukrainians so are Poles and Czechs and Slovaks Slovenes Serbs Croats and Sorbs. The Russians have kicked ass of anyone who dared invade their homeland. As someone said in an article here the only way to defeat the Russians you havwe to kill every last one of them but they will have something to say about that.

    • Charles Fasola

Hey, barry, how do you know this. Provide the facts and evidence. How ’bout links to sources to back up your assertions. That they are thugs and will prey upon the Syrian people. You sound like some western MSM trash news site. The Chechens in the current military are not the radical islamists who fought Russia. You obviously are not a student of recent Chechen history. If the state and the majority of the population follow a religion that is against the consumption of alcohol, then why do you find it wrong that its sale is banned.
Have you an insatiable taste for it? Now I understand.

    • Marek Pejović

Well, I think turkish commandos will get to know these guys. after all Kuwereis airport they’re supposed to guard is a stone throw from Al-Bab. it’s gonna be interesting.

  • Byzantines

Breaking news.“Syrian government forces have suspended “active military activities” against militants in eastern Aleppo to enable the withdrawal of civilians from the city, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has announced while speaking in Hamburg, Germany.`
Lavrov-the master of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory-strikes again.
Instead of eliminating the terrorists, he succumbs to Kerry’s wishes, who wants to protect his valuable jihadis.
There are literraly a few blocks left before Aleppo is free and now this..Pathetic.

    • Douglas Houck

While I’ve seen that report in the Russian press, something about 8,000 civilians wanting to get out, no where else. Have to wait for official declaration from the Syrians. And the fighting continues.

  • Gabriel Hollows

    Cut them down.

  • EL ZORRO

“Meanwhile, the so-called “Aleppo rebels” asked a 5-day ceasefire for as they said “the medical and civilian evacuation from the eastern part of the city of Aleppo”…INTERNATIONAL MERCENARY TERRORISTS want a cease fire to regroup and receive more military supplies, NEVER GIVE UP to TERRORISTS DEMANDS, it’s time to FINISH THEM FOR GOOD.

  • Marek Pejović

Chechens seem a good choice for this.
first, they are undoubtedly brave, tough, high quality soldiers. i don’t think these are thugs. they are professional military servicemen from a very tough martial nation, which respects concepts of honor, word, and homeland.
there might also be “personal” motivation involved. i think chechens might well view extremist sunni islam as an insult to sunni islam and what is done “in their name” as sunni muslims. i don’t think it’s wise to insult a Chechen.
additional benefits include that they are muslims, meaning that at least some of them should know at least basic arabic, which is useful in an arabic speaking country. also, being sunni muslims they WILL be easier accepted by local population, especially rural sunni arabs in the north and central Syria.
This move by Putin also shows his iron intention to secure Kuwereis base, and it’s going to likely become the russian hub of military and political influence in northern Syria, which will be of great use for quelling the turkish influence. so, Kuwereis becomes a hugely important place, not the kind whose security you rely on NDF.
