Government forces, led by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) Tiger Forces and pro-government tribal forces, have liberated the villages Wadi Kharrar, Subayat, Salim Hammad, Abu Hammad, Muqla Saghir, and Muqla Kabir and fully encircled ISIS terrorists in the Sabkah area in the southern part of Raqqah province.

Following the full encirclement of this area, the SAA and its allies started pressuring ISIS in Zawr Sham, Jibil, Rahbi, and Sabkah. In turn, ISIS members launched a series of counter-attacks in the area and even temporarily entered Ghanim Ali.  Intense fighting is now ongoing in the area. However, government forces, backed up by the Russian Aerospace Forces, have an upper hand in this battle.

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and Hezbollah made a ceasefire deal in the Jaroud Arsal area at the Syrian-Lebanese border.  According to the deal, HTS members are withdrawing from Jaroud Arsal to the province of Idlib.  This will allow Hezbollah to launch the second phase of the operation in Jaroud Arsal and to focus on combating ISIS in the area.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), supported by the US-led coalition, have further advanced against ISIS in the districts of Shahada and Husham Abdulmalik in the city of Raqqah.  The SDF is attempting to isolate the Old Raqqah area from the southern direction in order to launch another attempt to seize this area from ISIS.

The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) have repelled another ISIS attack in the border area with Syria, the PMU media wing reported on Monday.  According to the report, the PMU killed 100 ISIS members and destroyed 26 ISIS vehicles during the clashes.  However, without photos or videos, these numbers remain unconfirmed.

According to the Iraqi government, the Iraqi Army and the PMU will soon launch a joint military operation to liberate Tal Afar, one of the last remaining ISIS strongholds in Iraq.

This has been an interesting war.

In any war, there are sons killed, brothers and sisters killed, parents killed, deceived people, hungry, desperation, children crying for their dead parents, parents crying for their dead children, drugged soldiers killing children, women. men, and old people, religious people justifying their act of madness, destruction of the cultural-political-economy of a nation……….I do not see what is interesting.

You’re calling that stuff boring?

Jens Holm

Im kind of that now and then. If people insist to kill each other and more to it, You get very cold about it.

Those people there hardly know, what they are figting for exept male so called honor and respect.

So what do those dictators and warlords want…The good old day, where Assads free killed all opposition. Jihadisme in 8 versions – or what.

The only ones having any program for real changes are PYD by uniting people by sekular and decentralized marxisme. But they are 10% of them and all others dont like them and prefare stubbern versions of socalled states having structures from an ancient and well known time.

So do those people deserve better. 8-10 mio. are totally passive about it, because they are learned to.

Thats where I say: A fence around it somewhere west of Istanbul.

Lol don’t buy into those PYD freedom fighters things and Assad dictatorial regime things. The only things that those story produce is just another interventionist and destabilizing conduct made by country that has the approval of their Congress (who may or may not backed by their people) that do not relate to any real situation in reality.
They killing their own ? Imprisoning opposition ? So what ? Why they don’t mind their own goddamn problems ?

War is always terrible, on the soldiers, but often even worse for the civilians.

Having said that, evader2014 is right too. So many unexpected developments and more to come.
