Syrian and Russian warplanes carried out on November 6 more than 40 airstrikes on terrorists’ positions across the so-called Greater Idlib region.
According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the airstrikes targeted the following areas:
- The towns of Ma’ar Shoreen, Ma`arat al-Nu`man, Shnan, al-Mshairfeh, Rakaya Sijneh, Sheikh Mustafa, Ma’aret Hurmah, Kafr Nabl, al-Nabi Ayyub, Tell Mardikh and Benin in the southern Idlib countryside;
- The towns of Jisr al-Shughur, Maraand, Halwz, al-Najeya and Sheikh Sndian in the northern Idlib countryside;
- The town of al-Sahharah in the western Aleppo countryside;
- The town of Kabani and its outskirt in the northern Lattakia countryside.
Syrian opposition activists and outlets released several videos showing some of the Syrian and Russian airstrikes on Greater Idlib
These intense attacks by the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) and the Russian Aerospace Forces appear to be a response to the repeated provocation by the terrorist groups, occupying Greater Idlib.
