Following the liberation of Hasnawi, Syrian troops have taken back control over the village of Duma in the northeastern Hama countryisde. Duma had been controlled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda).

A media wing of the National Defense Forces (NDF) has released a photo report confirming the recent advances.
