Syrian Forces Repel Large Al-Qaeda Attack In Hadar Town Near Frontline With Israel

On Friday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the local National Defense Forces (NDF) repelled a wide-scale attack of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Hadar town north of the Golan Heights.

Hadar is one of the biggest Druze towns in southern Syria.

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sgham (HTS) and its allies launched their military operation to break the SAA siege on Beit Jinn town in the Western Ghouta region and advanced along the separation line between Syrian and Israeli forces.  HTS fighters captured many position south and southwest of Hadar town immediately.

However, the SAA and the NDF quickly launched a counter-attack and recaptured almost all positions including Qurs al-Nafla Hill, according to local sources from Hadar town. However, the al-Hurah position northeast of Hadar is still under HTS control.

During the attack, HTS targeted the northern district of Hadar town with two VBIEDs. According to local sources, over 23 civilians were killed or injured in the VBIEDs attack.

Syrian pro-government sources said that 10 fighters of the NDF were killed while they were repelling HTS attack. HTS lost at least 8 fighters including Sael Hassan al-Aiytah, a commander of this operation.

As a result of the attack, hundreds of Druze civilians in the Israeli-held Druze villages in the Golan Heights protested against the Israeli support for HTS and the FSA in Syria. The protestors accused Israel of supporting the ongoing attack on Hadar town. The Israeli Army evacuated several injured HTS fighters to hospitals inside Israel.

The protestors even attempted to cross into Syria to aid the local NDF fighters in Hadar town. However, the Israeli Army blocked the way and fired shots in the air to force the protestors to retreat.

The Lebanese al-Manar TV channel reported that several Druze protestors were injured, and even some killed by the Israeli Army while they were trying to cross into Syria. This report is yet to be confirmed.

From its side, Major Avichay Adraee spokesperson of the Israel Army denied that Israel supported the HTS attack on Hadar town. Major Adraee stressed that the Israeli Army is committed to protect Syrian Druze in Hadar town.

“The Defense Force [Israeli Army] is ready to support the town’s [Hadar] locals, and will forbid harming them or occupying the town due to its commitment towards the Druze sect,” Major Adraee said on Twitter.

However, local activists from Hadar confirmed that the Israeli Army played a key role in the HTS attack on Hadar town. According to the activists, the HTS fighters and two VBIEDs reached Hadar through the Separation of Forces Line that’s now controlled only by the Israeli Army.

The local activists even published photos that shows HTS fighters hiding right under the Israeli Army fortification on the Separation of Forces Line after the attack failed.

The Israeli support to the FSA and HTS was confirmed back on September 9, when 107mm rockets supplied by Israel were spotted with an FSA group in southern Syria.

Pro-government sources speculated that Israel could support the recent HTS attack to intervene in southern Syria later under the excuse of protecting Syrian Druze in Hadar town and other areas.

Israhell. One of the biggest mistakes in history.

    • You can call me Al

To many yes, but it wasn’t a mistake at all.

      (sorry to be pedantic)

    • Muriel Kuri

I totally agree it shouldn’t have happened, but I don’t think it was a mistake!

  • Joe Doe

SAA needs to finish Eastern part of Syria. Than Idlib province and mean time Assad should obtain it’s own Air Defense System such as S-400, Su-30 and MID-29 and vereda manpad air defense system and use the time during Idlib advances to gain experience on those weapons. Than SAA could take on IDF and golan heights

    • john

      I hope!

    • Icarus Tanović

These are Israwli pitiful tries to divert SAA from Deir Ezzor.
      No appeal.
They’ve just created more enemies, and those Nusra terrorists are short work for Syrian airforce. Just nothing.

The Golan heights belongs of Sysia. So says the United Nations

        Definitely.

Don’t forget murder and supporting terrorism, they excel at that as well.

    • Rob

Who are those assh*les that support Israeli refugees. LOL.

    • Icarus Tanović

      Yes.

  • Blucross

I trust nothing Israelis say after witnessing their destruction of hospitals in the Golan heights. Remember how that occurred ? First thing was a barrage of false news accounts of Hamas rockets raining down on Israeli civilians. This storm of rockets killed 3 olive trees , a donkey BUT NO Civilians ! In fact no Israeli civilians were killed UNTIL the IDF invaded the Golan heights, and yes the IDF won ! The score was approx 3000 Palestinians killed to 300 IDK killed. So Ya, the Israeli Defense Forces won.

ISISraeli military said they’re “ready to protect a Druze village from the fighting factions” inside Syria, in the area where these clashes are taking place.

And they’ll do it unless Russian military peacekeepers get there first.

    • Bru

How would they protect the Syrians when their zionist colonial regime are the sole supporter in this region of these terrorist factions?… Or do you mean they would use this hypocrisy as a pretext to steal more Syrian land?

    • Promitheas Apollonious

they can try the question is how many of them they survive to save others? They do need a lesson they never forget and is about time they receive it. it be even more fun if they cause it by their own actions.

No matter, all of Syria will be reunited, including the Golan Heights, and that will be in near future. All of Iraq will be cleared of its vermin, just like it is being cleared out of Syria and Lebanon. Then, in a short time, Palestine and Gaza will be freed from the bloodsuckers and land grabbers. It is just a matter of time. Syria is for Syrians, not for the idiots and murderers in the White House and their counterparts in the stolen land of Palestine called Israel. Their is a universal law. It is called karma. What goes around comes around. And when it comes around i would not want to be a Zionist. And God help also the Innocent jewish people who have nothing to do with the filth that runs the stolen land of Palestine. Israel makes a billion dollars a year on selling the body parts of the Palestinians and Gazans that they murder. Here is the link– you will not believe what you are going to see.–.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nV4KlB48HA–and just so you know, The Israelis pay starving Palestinians a couple of thousand dollars for one of their kidneys– the line up is long. That is how they have reduced a nobel people to beggars–even selling their body parts so they and their families can survive. This is the Israeli way:
    conquer, abuse, use and kill.

    • Muriel Kuri

I was and am still horrified at the treatment of the jews by the Nazis in WWII. The people doing these evil deeds are not the people that suffered so much, yet I find it hard to understand how they, as a people can do such evil things after all the evil that had been done to their ancestors. It seems the Zionists learned much by reading Nazi history! The innocent jews, and I’m sure there are many, must feel as Germans did when learning what horrors the Nazis had done. I feel very sorry for them, and hope someday they can rid their country of these Zionist devils that have taken over their government.

      • Vitex

Go take a look at http://www.pauleisen.com. I do not for one minute dispute that the jews suffered at the hands of the nazis, but the “6 million died” is a hoax. The nazis did not have a monopoly on evil, said and done. Tens of millions suffered on both sides in WWII. Rather you should ask – cui bono? Who benefited from WWII? Like Hiram Maxim in WWI, playing both sides against the middle? Who benefits from the war in Syria?

        • john

I believe the figure six million and been gradually reduced to 750 thousand. it is still very sad but the Zionists use this lie to further their sick agenda. In other words, they use the pain and suffering of their own people to steel , plunder and murder. They have no conscience, no shame. They are what they are . . . evil. I do feel sympathy for the innocent jews; they too are victims of the Nazi regime that rules Israel, the stolen land of Palestine

          • Vitex

I find that hard to swallow as well, being (as far as I can tell) part-jew myself. It is clear that the zionists had the power to evacuate most jews from germany prior to wwii but decided not to, so they are complicit in the atrocities that did occur. But they’re not the only people who have a history of betrayal. And even worse, this makes goy who isn’t completely fast asleep very distrustful of any jew. And that, I fear, is part of the plot.

        • Muriel Kuri

You should read an excellent book The Devil’s Chessboard’ by David Talbot. It shows the true evil and corruption that was formed under Pres. Roosevelt’s nose by the Dullas brothers. Many of the top Nazis were transported to US and S. America, instead of being hung, like they should’ve been. I also know many other people suffered under the Nazis in those camps: anyone who wasn’t ‘Arian’ enough, Gypsies, Poles, Gays, Political enemies; also Russia lost about 27 million people in their fight against these demons. As a kid I was taught that the US alone had won the war! No one else was ever mentioned, and being a kid, I didn’t question what I was told. When I matured and started reading world news, I became aware of all the lies I’d been fed as a kid. I began to abhor what my government had become. I watch the Russian May 9th celebrations every year and will never forget the first parade I saw where people brought pictures of their relatives that had been killed during the war – even Putin himself marched with a picture of his dad. That really hit me as to how much these brave Russian people had suffered.

As to your last sentence, Who benefits from the war in Syria? America wanted to put a gas pipeline from Qatar through Syria to Israel and Europe. Assad said ‘no’. He instantly went from being an American ally to a dictator who must be destroyed! Thankfully, after several years of dealing with the terrorists that US had created through the vacuum left in Iraq, he asked Russia for help. US is still building bases in Syria, giving coordinates to terrorists, killing Syrian soldiers, flyng terrorists from one area to another in Syria and doing whatever they can to stymie Russia’s Iran’s and Syrian success. Until the US people wake up (which is hard to do, since they are fed the pablum of MSM daily) things won’t change except by 2 ways: 1: WWIII, or 2: The end of the dollar as the reserve currency. The latter is happening at a every-quickening pace with more and more countries wanting to do business in their own or China’s Yuan as currency. We should all pray that the former (1) doesn’t happen, but this scenery is quickly approaching – war with either N. Korea, Iran, Russia or China. The US thinks they are omnipotent and can take on all of them – maybe even at the same time! I wonder what koolaid they’re drinking? I feel I’m on a rollercoaster, heading down the steep hill without control. All I can do is hang on, pray and hope for the best!

          • Vitex

Please keep posting. That is very thought-provoking. This issue of demonizing the nazis – haven’t made my mind up yet. History being written by the victors an’ all. There are also tales of those “victorious” russians committing massive atrocities against German civilians (e.g. mass rape) after the war. Solzhenitzyn has some interesting things to say about the role of the bolsheviks and who they exterminated. The russians committed atrocities in poland which they later (and for a long time) blamed on the germans. The Danes used german prisoners in contravention of the Geneva Convention to clear minefields after the war. Consensus, as close as I can make it, is there are no heroes in war, and no victors.

          • Muriel Kuri

Sad to say, rape was a very common occurrence during the war. I read a book written by a German woman and her family who lived through the war. They had to choose who their protector would be – would it be the Germans or the Russians? Women had to make this choice because if they didn’t choose someone to help protect them, they’d be fair game for any guy that came along. They tried to select someone who had some influence on the other men. The Russian man she selected was good to her and her family – would bring them all food, cigarettes, and protected them when they were in danger. She stated too, that they had been totally unaware of the death camps until it came out in the end. It was a very interesting book that let one see into the minds of some ordinary German people living through this nightmare that they unknowingly had been part of.

          • Muriel Kuri

Nothing is ever totally white or black. There’s always a rotten apple in the barrel that makes it hard for anyone else of that same race, ethnicity or sex. I’m not familiar with the Poles/Russians during the war, but will try to learn more about it. People act differently during war time – there’s a sense of ‘freedom’ to act out in ways that they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to. That’s why an alcoholic will say ‘the booze made me do it’. Like the old saying, Civility is a thin veneer – once society breaks down (as in war times) the base instincts and hidden darkness comes to the forefront. Sad but true. You are a knowledgeable individual – I enjoy talking with you!

      • john

It is sad to think that the Zionists bow so low as to use the unfortunate history of the victims of the Nazi holocaust to further their agenda. It, too, is a billion dollar a year profit. it is designed to make the christians guilty for such a horrible event. But their design is exactly like that of the Nazis: to create “lebensraum”, living space for their expansion. As Miko Peled, a jew and the son of an Israeli military general said, “We have become to the Palestinians what the Nazis did to us. He is a great man. In fact all my heros are jewish: Noam Chomsky, Hedi Epstein, a survivor of the Nazi camps, Norman Finkelstein, and others. These are people of truth, honor and decency. It is worthwhile reading up on them. Every culture has a right to exist and to enjoy the fruits of nature, of God. But none have the right to steal, murder and bully their way across the globe, like the Americans and Israelis are doing. That sinful action is not without a price and that price will soon be demanded. it is just a matter of time but as true as night follows day, it will happen. And you are so correct . . . Zionist devils borne out of the very bowels of hell.!

        • Muriel Kuri

I’ve read and re-read Elie Wiesel’s books on the holocaust. I’ve cried many times over what these poor people suffered and died from. I have nothing against jewish people – I am for world peace and despise what the US government, the terrorists they created and the Zionists have been doing all over the world. Zionists are in control of US government through their power of lobbying. I believe too that Karma goes around. It will be turning towards them, soon I hope, and the rest of us who desire peace will finally have it. Peace to you, John!

  • Bru

Hoping that one that the Golan heights illegally occupied by the Zionist colonial regime will be liberated and returned to Syria, and that their ongoing support for terrorism inside Syria will be completely stopped.

    • Promitheas Apollonious

only with war and defeat, of the occupying army, this can be achieved.

I am flummoxed as to where the terrorists are getting arms and supplies, all lines of contact are with border with Israel and Israel has declared itself to be a staunch opponent of terrorism, It is almost as if some party, I cannot imagine who, is not being entirely honest.

The Druze are so loyal , even those living in the Israeli occupied Golan Heights have up to date Syrian passports . May the Druze have Godspeed .

  • Lex

The Zionist project is increasingly untenable in the modern world – Palestine was occupied by the British military, which means they had no right to “gift” the land of the Palestinians to European Jewish victims of the Nazis. Instead of Europeans paying for their own crimes, they forced the Arabs and the Muslim world to pay the price – and compounded this criminal and inhuman act by supporting the Zionist state in its flagrant acts of aggression which led to the theft of Golan Heights, the West Bank, Gaza, and Sinai. Then there are the ongoing criminal acts of stealing land and cultural heritage of Palestinians, and the 70-odd year project of ethnic cleansing to create a racially “pure” state for Jews only. No other race, religion, or ethnic group could get away with such brazen acts of evil – though some Kurds have attempted to play a similar game. The recent “celebration” of the Balfour “declaration” (simply a letter of intent with no moral or legal power in reality) was forced to be held in a private backyard by a handful of Zionists and their British collaborators – such is the public disgust with the Zionist project, despite the heavy-handed efforts of slimy lobbies and “friends of” groups in the two major parties to manufacture consent for the modern-day colonial apartheid. They are now fuming with rage, attempting to blacken the name of Jeremy Corbyn for simply stating facts and speaking the moral truth – the Zionist project is illegal and immoral, and must end for the sake of Jews, Palestinians, and the peace of the entire region.

I can’t wait for the day Jeremy becomes PM of Britain. He’ll bring some soul, class and intellect to the government.

      • john

Thank you, Muriel, for your insight and for information on David Talbot’s book. I will indeed look it up. Like you, when I was young there were only two TV movies – one was about the Lone Ranger and the other about the Holocaust. Twice a week we watched those presentations, thus the beginning of programming and guilt associated with something I had nothing to do with. But for fifty years of my life, I went along with it until the day the Israelis boarded the Marvi Marmara, the ship that was headed from Turkey to Gaza with essential supplies for the starving and dying. When the Israelis slaughter ten of those good people, it was then I turned my back on that nation and since then I vowed to do whatever I can to bring to the attention of the world the cruelty and greed of this mob that runs that stolen land of Palestine with the name Israel attached to it. Stalin, Hitler, Thatcher, Pinochet, Edi Amin, Teresa May are all rolled into a body that belongs to Netanyahu. The Iranians refer to him as the baby killer, a most suitable label. In fact, I have written a book, The Crucifixion of Palestine. I will let u know when it goes to Kindle Ebooks. Later, I will have it printed. It is so true a saying: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul. Greed and playing god get in the way of such fools. And the children suffer and cry for the dead parents and the parents suffer and cry for their dead children, all thanks to the bombs of the USI (United States of Israel), and Israhell. I enjoy reading your narratives. I learn much form your presentations. Decent, good people like you, Muriel, give me hope and the same to the rest of the world, too.
        Best to you Muriel.

        • Muriel Kuri

Thank you, John. Were you aware of the bombing of the US Liberty? It was a US technical research ship posted in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea during the 6 day war in 1967. The Israelis were fighting Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq at the time. This ship, the USS Liberty was flying the American flag and Israel knew it was there. On this bright, sunny day the crewmen were relaxing, some sunning themselves on the deck. They saw Israeli planes flying over and waved to them. Sometime later, the ship was torpedoed and then strafed by the Israeli jets. This attack went on for some time, killing 34 men and wounding 171. As the men tried to jump over the side into the water, the Israelis killed them. This false flag attack was supposed to kill everyone on the boat. They would then destroy the boat and blame the Egyptians. The Israelis had planned on ordering the US to nuke Egypt, as they would be blamed by Israel for the attack. But fortunately, there were survivors. The US ships in the area were contacted, but refused to come to their aid until some time later. A Russian ship in the area offered assistance, but was declined by the commander of the ship. The Israelis then had the nerve to fly over again, and ask if they needed assistance! The commander told them to go F..k themselves. This false flag attack was totally covered up. The sailors were forbidden from EVER discussing the attack with anyone. Medals were given out in secret, to the survivors, and several books were written about it later, by the surviving men. Israel was eventually forced to pay some millions in recompense to the families of the slain crewmen. This was in 1967 – much more influence by AIPAC lobbying has been stamped into our foreign policy. We’ve been fighting Israeli wars ever since in Iraq, Syria and anywhere else the Israelis are too cowardly to fight on their own. I will be so glad when Israel gains it’s Karma – what goes around comes around. How fitting, indeed!

        • Muriel Kuri

John, I forgot to ask in my last post – where do I go to read your book?

          • john

Greetings, Muriel. Always nice to hear from you. Yes, I am aware of what the Israelis did to the US Liberty and how the corrupted, cowardly government of the US covered it up–well, almost. If you see, which I do not recommend, how cattle are slaughtered to produce kosher meats, you will be appalled. Only those with a cruel mindset or none at all can end an animals life in this fashion. Believe me, it is not a nice thing to watch. Their Mafia, too, is known for its creativity in torture, extortion, and murder of its victims. Just some years ago, a Palestinian family of five resting on a beach was blown apart by an Israeli naval shell. They were slaughtered in that one shot for target practice, and they, as far as I know, got away with it, just like all other crimes they commit on a daily basis. This is the reason that I refer to the US as-the USI . . . the United States of Israel. It is not a label without foundation.
My book, The Crucifixion of Palestine is not yet on Amazon. I have some revisions to make but in a week or so, I hope it is available.
And, slightly off topic: I was hit with severe cancer a couple of years ago. I cured it using cannabis oil, a cure that “Big Pharma” works hard to deny the public because they make hundreds of billions each year in selling chemo and radiation. In other words murdering eight million people each year so they can make their money and deny the world a cure for cancer and other ailments. There is no money made in healing people. That book is undergoing a slight revision and will again be available on Amazon sometime this week. It is titled, Cannabis Oil Cured My Cancer by John Gabriel . . . and it is a “Cure” .

Keep up the good work, Muriel.
May the truth always be told and not denied. And soon, the men and women of the Liberty will have their day when the corrupted USI governments finally have the decency, to tell the truth.
            Best always

            john

          • Muriel Kuri

I enjoy my discussions with you as well, John! It’s pleasant to be able to discuss things with someone who knows the timely state of the world events. Re: Cannibas oil – I heard about it from others as well – Michael J. Fox uses it in his symptoms of Parkinson’s with great success. I look forward to reading your book – let me know when it’s available! Have a great day, John!☺️

          • Muriel Kuri

John, I also forgot to mention that I am vegetarian – have been for 30 years. Partly due to the fact of the horror the poor animals suffer while enroute to their deaths. I won’t eat anything that can look back at me, especially with such trusting eyes as these poor creatures have!

          • john

Hi, Muriel– The book—The Crucifixion of Palestine will be on AmaZon in a couple of weeks. So sorry for delay– had been tied up with some stuff. You can also contact at johngmcdonald534@yahoo.com I see Netanyahu, the baby killer, is beginning to sweat bullets. What an evil thing he is! Keep up the great work deploring the so called “Western Powers”– there can never be peace with a mob like that bullying mankind. If the Roman Empire fell, then there in not much hope for the piddly things that have followed and are trying to follow in the same vein. They never learn, do they? Such are corrupted souls . . . if they have one . . .

          • Muriel Kuri

No, never any peace. My husband and I have been reading some good books – he’s currently reading ‘the killing of William Browder’ by Alexander Kraimer. What an excellent book! He’s been reading parts of it to me about many things in Russian as well as US history that they have shared. Russia actively supported the US during their travals with the Brits and France after the declaration and during the civil war. I can’t wait to get to read it myself.

          • john

Sounds very interesting, Muriel. I had not heard of this individual before. I most certainly will look further into the life and times of Bill Browder. I am aware that the oligarchs attempted to control the banking system in Russia and also to plunder the natural resources. Mr. Putin got wind of what the crooks were up to and kicked the filth out of the country, and put some of them in jail. There really is no end to Zionist greed– give them the universe and they still want more. What a debilitating disease among us? Thank you for the information, I look forward to reading the book–The Killing of William Browder—Deconstructing William Browder’s Dangerous Deceptions, by Alex Krainer
