The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) took control of the Ba’ath Dam east of Tabqah town in the province of Raqqah after a week of fighting with ISIS militants.
The SDF also completed securing Al-Mansoura village and discovered a large ISIS arms depotinside the village.

West of the Ba’ath Dam, the SDF took control of Huneide village after ISIS militants withdrew from it.
ISIS destroyed a vehicle allegedly belonging to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the town of Abu Qubai’ west of Raqqa city.
The terrorist group claimed that another PKK vehicle was destroyed soutwest of Al-Shaddadi after being targeted by IED planted by ISIS fighters.
According to local sources, 15 civilians lost their life as a result of airstrikes carried out by US-led coalition warplane. The airstrikes hit five houses near Al-Shira’ swimming pool in Raqqa city. Separately, 3 women have been killed in the Dara’ya area as a result of the the US-led coalition bombing.
Meanwhile, opposition sources argued that the SDF managed to take control of the Huneide and Al-Mansoura villages and the Ba’ath Dam as a result of a safe passage agreement with ISIS militants. The SDF has repeatedly denied such reports.
Separately, clashes continued in the vicinity of Raqqa city, particularly in the Al-Khatounia and Hittin farms.
The SDF announced that the deadline it has gave to ISIS to withdraw from Raqqa city is over and it would launch its attack on the city in the coming days.
