Syrian Army Preparing To Cross Euphrates And To Advance Towads Omar Oil Fileds – Reports

Pro-government forces, led by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) Tiger Forces, are preparing to cross the Euphrates River near the recently liberated city of al-Mayadin and to launch an advance towards the strategic Omar oil fields, according to pro-government sources.

Reports indicate that the SAA is now securing the area of Mayadin from the remaining ISIS cells and consolidate gains in the area.

As soon as this is done, the Tiger Forces and their allies will have an opportunity to corss to the eastern bank of the Euphrates there.

If this is done, government troops will likely be able to seize the Omar oil fields before the moment when the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are able to reach them from the northwestern direction.

Good luck heroes! Take what is yours in the first place, grab that black gold.

  • Jesus

Time to cross Euphrates and bottle up SDF, while cleaning ISIS vermin.

  • John Wallace

I hope they keep this intention quiet so that ISIS are taken by surprise and mainly so SDF don’t do anything too thwart this move.. Should only tell the enemy what you have done not what you are going to do. Like tell SDF we have control of all the oil fields now go back home to where you started from.

    • Dr. Ronald Cutburth

ISIS would already expect that move.

      • John Wallace

Do you know the word facetious ???

        • Solomon Krupacek

          your wife told you this?

          • John Wallace

            No your husband told me.

          • Solomon Krupacek

            dont drug so much :DDD

and whos friends is alex, that is only such shit :)))

          • John Wallace

I don’t drink I don’t smoke and I certainly don’t take any drugs that a doctor has not prescribed so don’t talk horseshit in an effort too denigrate me you idiot. Stop making up bullshit or I might have too ask if you know your wife is actually a transvestite or you didn’t realise that yet..

      • Freedom

There is at least a TOS 1 Burantino nearby Mayadin. Expect the zone to be disinfected before the troops are are sent to take the ground.

      • Jens Holm

Yes of course ISIS knows all about it.

Damaskus hooligans are held into illiterate ignorence about all facts about war. They only see the weapons of their own and dont know anything about, what they are up too.

    • Barba_Papa

I don’t think they can really keep this a secret. Everybody knows the SAA’s strategic goal here. They all know it will be coming. The only surprise they can hope for is where and when. And not wait too long or the SDF will be there as well.

    • John Wallace

Look I am well aware that the SDF would have a very good idea that when the SAA were first heading for al-Mayadin that they would have a good place too cross the Euphrates and take control of the oil fields. They shouldn’t be surprised if this happens afterall they did rush and cutoff the SAA at Deir Azzor to prevent them from taking control of the oil fields before the SAA were able to cross the river. In fact as soon as they saw the SAA heading to Deir Azzor they quickly changed direction and headed straight there too cut the SAA off. . Similarly ISIS should not be surprised if there is a knock on the door and when they answer it fin the SAA pointing an AK at their head. If they are then they are dumber than I thought. Don’t accept everything as so literal. I was being facetious.

      • Jens Holm

ISIS cut them off. Lies again too as usual.

    • Jens Holm

You have learnt nothing. SAA move so slow, that ISIS can counterattack go home for a meal and counterattack again. Thats how it has been for years.

      More like 1967 warfare.

  • FlorianGeyer

The SAA flank is long and thin but a its certain that this vulnerable salient will have been considered by the SAA and Russian planners.

Perhaps a thrust by the SAA just South of the border crossing with Iraq is also planned ?

The US Military will also be consulting with their Israeli masters of course.

    • Vidura

US has no masters, Israel relies on US support not the other way around.

      • Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

Nah, the Israelis happily leech off of the US. But I would like to see what happens to Israel when the gravy train ends. :)

        • Attrition47

I’ve lived through two of the apartheid shite-holes and I’m not dying until the last one is flushed round the U bend of history.

      • Lord of the Flies

This is really pathetic because Trump has enough information at his disposal to label Netanyahu a terrorist, an ethnic cleanser, and a blood-thirsty warmonger. Trump knows that Netanyahu was largely responsible for the Iraq debacle. He knows that perpetual wars in the Middle East is essentially an Israeli project. And he knows that the war in Iraq alone will cost American tax payers at least six trillion dollars. He even said that Netanyahu is a stumbling block for peace efforts in the Middle East.

        • Kira Binkley

You’re crazy. But if it makes you feel better…

      • FlorianGeyer

Open your eyes Vidura and count the zionist jews that hold the reins of power in the USA, big business, judiciary, health care, media , government, et al.

        • Wahid Algiers

Yes, and the zio-jewish MSM is Hollywood.

      • gustavo

        Yes, you dream.

      • Wahid Algiers

That is the great bluff because US acts on behalf of Israel and the US-jewish lobby.

      • Justin

        Jews own America!
        Jews own Trump!
U know thats the real story!
        So shut your fookin mouth!

        • Lone Wolf

Trump son-inLaw Jared Kushner is an Orthodox Jew and so is her daughter Ivanka by marriage. Jared Kushner father is a long time personal friend of Benjamin Netanyahu. When Benjamin Netanyahu was an opposition leader in Israel wand whenever he was in US .. he used to stay at Jared Kushner’s house. In fact when Jared was a young kid … netanyahu stayed in his room and he had to go down to garage to sleep…. Thats how close Netanyahu is to President of USA… !!!

          • Justin

Also Kuschner’s building in new york is number 666! hahaha
            Its true!
They paid something like 2.5 times more than they needed for the building too!

      • Floyd Hazzard

Are you ok? All US politicians bow to the Israeli Lobby. They are all afraid of being called anti-semites. The tail wags the dog is washington, especially since the jews control the money and america has the best government money can buy anywhere on the planet. If you don’t believe me, ask the jews, saudis and emirates.

    • PZIVJ

Iraq has stated that they will start move on Al Qaim within a few days.
No doubt SAA will be part of operation towards Al Bukamal.
      Better late than never! :)

      • FlorianGeyer

        Fingers crossed :)

The US Military has a wounded pride now and although ‘ Pride Comes Before a Fall ‘ they are not likely to accept that without another foolish ‘mistake’.

I would think the Russian Air Defences are on high alert with authority given to local battery commanders to interdict any US adventurism.

      • Solomon Krupacek

        they are moving on kirkuk.

      • MH370

        it was PMU

  • Freedom

If the SDF crosses the Khabur river, sooner or later it will lead to an open war with the Syrian Army that could escalate into a Kurd vs. Arabs confrontation. The situation is getting very dangerous, both in Syria and in Iraq.

    • andy l

There is that possibility but if the SAA get to the Omar fields first the Kurds would have a hard time trying to justify an attack on the SAA in what would be a blatant land grab attempt. The Syrian airforce would surely target them if they did. Question is what would the US do?

      • Kira Binkley

And THAT is the 64 dollar question.

      • χρηστος

US will launch a major ISIS campaign again…what else?

      • Jens Holm

Stupido again. Kurds hasnt need for justifying things about them created by Damaskus or Ankara.

Again Yoú believe in Your own lies.

Her You out USA in again. When was they supporting SDF there at all. Those and the French has attacked Abu Kamal and like that 40 km away. FORTY KILOMETERS AWAY.

You are that misguided. If You died today You probatly would be burried upside down.

    • Jens Holm

      Thats a madness argumentation.

  • Terence Silvestre Jr.

Soon it will be time to extend arms to reap the fruits of such arduous efforts my dear Syria and allies. Soon and very soon.

  • Kira Binkley

    He’s a magic man!!

  • RamboDave

Russia and Syria should warn the Kurds right now ….. Do Not Cross The Khabur River toward the Omar oil fields ! They should also declare it to be an exclusion Zone and a no fly zone over that entire area.

This would be similar to the exclusion zone that the US declared a few months ago at the al Tanf boarder crossing.
And the Kurds should be thinking right now …. is it worth it to try to steal someone else’s oil and get shipped back home in a body bag, when your homeland over in Iraq is under attack?

    • Jonathan Cohen

    • Solomon Krupacek

      russia :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD

they sold east syria out 18 months ago!

    • Jens Holm

Your assumptions about whats going on are impressing. Most SDF`s by DEZ counsil are arabs as well., and Im sure they dont need Your help for thinking.

You might update Your own Yourself.

Hard to hear that parrot oil, oil, oil from the Mafiosa thieves of Damaskus. Not even most Syrians believe in it.

    • Valery Grigoryev

I suspect that the matter of demarcation between SAA and SDF zones of occupation was already preliminary agreed by the US and Russian command teams: SDF did not move southeast along the Euphrates shore, neither tryed to cross Khabur during few last weeks.

  • gustavo

Whe SAA was at Deir Ezzor, SAA made this type of announcements for almost two or three weeks until, finally, did something when SDF atopped its possible advance to north or northeast. I hope this time does not happen again the same fool tactic. With russia aerospace force, this advance can be made fast and effective, if they want to.

  • Deo Cass

Unfortunately I have news that they will be re-deployed to Deir Ezzur city instead. If this is true, then someone, which I suspect to be the Russian high command, is trying to delay the Syrian govenment forces from its urgent task of reclaiming its natural resources for the Syrian people to give chance for the US/Zionists and their Kurdish slaves to take them as they did in the case of the Jaffra fields. Top priority should be oil and gas not the cities because without them Syria will not be able to get back to its feet again, give work to its people and rebuild the cities the US/Zionist terrorists have destroyed.

    • Wahid Algiers

      Well said. Absolutely right.

    • Jens Holm

Skizzo again. SAA and Assads blamed SDF for not helping. So when they arrive, they are airstriked as well as blamed for taking oil.

Cant You see how stupid and non fit that is and why those 4 millions want to be more themselves.

  • Xanatos

Iraq is about to go to war with Kurds over Kirkuk province. This will suck the “best trained” “best equipped” and “most trusted” fighters the US has in the SDF: Kurdish fighters. Most will run back to Iraq, leaving the west to hold Rojava with former Isis defectors.

    • Jens Holm

If the earth was turned upside down, You probatly would fall off.

  • Rafik Chauhan

    • Solomon Krupacek

no more. inbetween defeated isis in that field.

      • Jens Holm

Yes, its zero. SDF counteraatcked and took back.

    • Jens Holm

So make the headline. SDF`s are attacked.

  • MH370

    AS I Say Krupachek
    Bukamal can wait.

    • Solomon Krupacek

sure not. all problems with isis is therefore, that bukamal AND t2 are not in saa hand.

  • χρηστος

lets see who will win this race…..i thought it was over and the Kurds have won but i see more oilfields are under ISIS rule there.

    • Jens Holm

There is no race. Only enemies of SDF says so to legitimize their greed and envy like Kings with no clothe on.

      • χρηστος

wait a sec….greed of Syrians to take back what is theirs? these lands dont have a single Kurd .the greed is on the side of the Kurds…..doing whatever they can to take the wealth of the Syrian people. as their masters command them.
