Notorious ISIS military commander, Abud al-Hamed, has been killed in clashes with the Syrian army near the ancient city of Palmyra, according to the ISIS-linked media outlet ‘Amaq’.

Al-Hamed was directly involved in the terrorist group’s efforts aimed at destroying a number of historical sites in Palmyra when the terrorist group sezied the ancient city for the first time.
