The Syrian Air Force and country’s troops have launched a series of attacks on positions of the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham terrorist group in 19 different areas of northen Hama province.
Positions of the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (previously known as the Al-Nusra Front) terrorist group were targeted and hit by the Syrian Air Force and country’s troops in at least 19 different areas of the northern part of Hama province. As result, terrorists suffered major losses.
The Syrian Armed Forces attacked terrorists’ positions and gatherings in the villages and towns of Tarmala, Halfaya, Kafr Awid, Taybat al-Imam, Albuyizeh, al-Qasabiyeh, Khirbet al-Hajameh, Souran, Latmin, Karsaha, Kafr Maboudeh, Morek, al-Latamina, al-Lahaya, Tal Hawash, Tal al-Naseriyeh, as well as in the east of Jabin in northern Hama. As a result of the attacks, tens terrorists were killed, and their military hardware was destroyed.
Ten combat sorties were carried out by Syrian fighter jets over concentration centers of terrorists in Tal Othman, its surroundings and al-Baneh in the northwestern part of Hama province. Tens of terrorists were killed during the operations.
Syrian soldiers also managed to seize a truck of terrorists, carrying weapons and ammunition, in the eastern countryside of Hama.
On Tuesday, governor of Hama province, Qassan Khalaf, said that the Syrian Army is going to recapture the strategic towns of Halfaya and Taybat a-Imam in the northern part of the province.
“After terrorists took control over villages and farms in northern Hama and displaced its residents, the Syrian Army managed to recapture those areas and push militants back; now army units are preparing to recapture Taybat al-Imam and Halfaya towns, both of which are located close to the city of Mahrada,” Khalaf told the Fars news agency.
He also pointed out that terrorists have taken control over many areas of northern Hama, including Souran, Maan, al-Talissiya, al-Kabariya, Maardes and Khafsin.
