Syrian Army Is About To Capture Inthriyah-Resafa Road

According to pro-government sources, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is on the verge of taking full control of the Inthriyah-Resafa road and dozens of villages in the eastern Aleppo countryside.

The SAA has managed to capture Bir Abu Alaj and the Syriatel checkpoint south of it, deploying 10 km away from the SAA units stationed in Khirbet al-Baida, north of Ithriyah.

In the eastern Homs countryside, pro-government sources announced that Brig General. Fouad Kaddour, was killed during clashes with ISIS. According to the sources, General Khaddour worked in eastern Homs for years against ISIS and participated in a majority of the operations in the area.

Russian Air Force warplanes continued to target ISIS positions and vehicles in the eastern Homs countryside and the eastern Hama countryside.

It is believed that the SAA will focus on the eastern Hama countryside, where it has not yet managed, despite the great fire support, to achieve any advance. ISIS is trying to keep Aqerba’at town near the Ithriyah road under its control at any cost. The town is considered a root for weapon smuggling  to the terrorist organization from the opposition-held areas of Idlib.

The Senior Officers of Syria and her allies see it as their duty to experience the conditions their men endure in combat .

The greatest danger all too many US coalition senior officers endure are faeces on their penis or a dose of herpes.

the first strike in the vid is made with a KAB tv guided bomb, which iirc was developed in the Soviet Union and firstly used against jihadists in Afghanistan.

The others are made with unguided bombs, they show pretty high accuracy for the type of munitions employed.

I remember skepticism on the part of JDAM fanboys in regard to the SVP aiming complex deployed on VKS planes, but it seems to me that the air operations in Syria proven the validity of the system (especially since it’s a particularly difficult environment, in regards to winds and terrain).

I’d also say that the VKS is making large usage of guided-munitions which cannot be degraded by electronic means. Both laser and (especially) GPS guided bombs can be jammed by cheap, off-the-shelf kits.
