Pro-government forces, led by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Hezbollah, are clashing with ISIS terrorists near the T2 Pumping Station in the  province of Deir Ezzor.

The station is located  near the border with Iraq and considered one of the last ISIS strong points south of the terrorist group’s border stronghold of al-Bukamal.

According to pro-government sources, the SAA and Hezbollah captured the area of artwazi directly south of T2 and are now attempting to enter the area.

When this is done, government troops will obtain an important strogpoint in the area that may be used in the expected SAA push towards al-Bukamal.

i se modern losing of war by saa and ruaf :DDDDDDDDDD

        • Gregory Louis

There losing? IDK what areas of the war your talking about about but liberating Der-Er-Zour, Aleppo, Palmyra, Sukhna, Southern Raqqa Countryside, advancing along the border area and T2 pumping area……..ok and you complain about slow progress but don’t realize how hard it is to take strongpoints if an enemy places themselves in a good position using good tactics they can hold out for a long period of time take the Battle of Hill 3234 for example 39 Soviets vs over 200 Mujahadeen elites and they won with less then a dozen dead so yea

      • Ziønist šhill

        Just ignore the kike

  • Thegr8rambino

Several days ago SAA stated it had fire control, as SF reported.

A few buildings in the open flat desert. Defended by lightly armed IS and attacked by heavy armour, CAS.

And SAA fails to take it.

    Bad, very bad.

    • Eskandar Black

The SDF puppet is here to give strategic advice. I look forward to the day when the turks come for your savages, the beautiful mangled SDF corpses that will be posted all over social media. Pathetic loser you are.

      • dutchnational

Well, IF that day comes, there will be three losers : Turkey that will lose many of its sons, maybe its Nato membership, SDF that loses men and women fighting and maybe a hardwon freedom, Syria that will lose up to three governates and likely Aleppo city too, forever.

You will not lose anything as someone already having lost common sense, humanity and decency cannot lose anymore and, you know, that is what is really pathetic.

        • Ziønist šhill

Awwww, he mistakenly thinks anyone cares about the Kurds lol

        • Eskandar Black

          You are totally delusional.

    • Ziønist šhill

You’re an idiot. The SAA is busy marching up and down the Euphrates valley, but in your mind you think they can’t take the T2 base? They obviously were focused elsewhere you inept piece of garbage

  • RichardD

The Syrian government coalition could obviously just level these sites and walk in unopposed if they wanted to. It looks like they’re trying to capture them with as little damage as possible to lower the cost, time and amount of work needed to return them to operational capability.
