Syrian army crashes al-Nusra front terrorists in Aleppo neighborhoods

According to media reports, in the neighborhoods of the Aleppo city, the Syrian military forces destroyed a concentration center of Nusra Front, killing several terrorists.

The reports said that the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra lost many of their members and military equipment in the neighborhoods of al-Rashedeen, al-Aemriyeh and Salahuddin after a fierce fighting with the Syrian army troops.

The Syrian army also engaged in violent fights with al-Nusra Front terrorists in the Northern city of Aleppo, killing many of terrorists.

There are other reports of fierce clashes between al-Nusra and the Syrian army in Seif al Dawla neighborhood where terrorists faced a heavy destruction in fighters and military equipment.

Nevertheless, the Arab country is currently observing an agreement for the cessation of hostilities which entered into force on February 27. The agreement stipulates the cessation of all military hostilities in Syria, except for the operations against ISIS terrorist group and al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front militants. From the middle of the March, Russia has been partially withdrawing troops and warplanes from Syria to make an end to the Syrian crisis.

Citing unnamed officials, The Wall Street Journal reported last week that the CIA and its regional partners are developing Plan B in Syria including delivery of MANPADS to so-called moderate rebels, although the CIA didn’t comment on that.
