Syrian and Russian Air Power Hit Terrorist Targets in Aleppo and Idlib amid Syrian Army's Offensive Operations

The Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Arab Air Force have been continuing to pound militant targets in and near the city of Aleppo. In total Syrian and Russian warplanes have made about 100 air strikes on various militant targets.

Syrian warplanes have conducted a series of air raids on Jaish al-Fatah convoys in Idlib’s countryside near the roder with Aleppo province. At least 3 militant convoys were reportedly destroyed at the villages of Shalakh and Saraqib.

Some 60 air strikes have been made by Russian fighter jets in southwestern Aleppo. The Russian Aerospace Forces have bombed the Ramouseh Artillery Base, the Ramouseh Neighborhood, the southern part of 1070 Apartment Project, Al-‘Amariyah and Khan Touman.

Meanwhile, the Syrian army continued engage Jaish al-Fatah militants in the Technical College at the Ramouseh Artillery Base.

Reports have appeared that commander of a mortar battalion of Jaish al-Fatah, Hussein al-Safrani, has been killed in clashes with the Syrian army and Hezbollah in southwestern Aleppo.
