Syrian Airstrikes Inflicts Heavy Losses on ISIS in Sweida

Syrian fighter aircraft bombed the ISIS positions in the northeast of Sweida province, killing dozens of terrorists and destroying their military hardware.

The ISIS concentration centers and gatherings near the village of Shinwan were targeted by Syrian fighter jets during several combat flights. As result, scores of the terrorists were killed, and their military equipment suffered heavy losses.

According to earlier today’s reports, the ISIS fuel convoys in eastern Sweida were traced and targeted by the Syrian Army troops. As the Fars news agency reported, citing unnamed military sources, the most part of the terrorists’ tankers was destroyed.

“At least four fuel tankers of the ISIS were destroyed in the Syrian soldiers’ attacks on the terrorists’ convoy near the village of Barik,” the sources said. “In the meantime, three oil tankers of the ISIS were targeted by the Army Forces near al-Rashida wells, killing also several terrorists.”

“Also, the ISIS machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed in the government forces’ offensives in Khirbet Sa’ad, while the Takfiri group suffered a heavy death toll in Khirbet al-Qassar in northeaster Sweida,” the sources added.
