It is reported that the Syrian fighter jets bombed and destroyed the ISIS’s several military positions in al-Hamidiya, al-Roshdiyah, al-Sina’ah and al-Urfi regions as well as al-Hosseiniyeh village in the Northern parts of Deir Ezzor.

According to the report, the Syrian air strikes inflicted heavy damage on ISIS killing scores of terrorists when bombs were dropped on their gathering centers in Deir Ezzor.

A battlefield reporter said that ISIS has withdrawn its forces from a strategic oilfield in Northern Deir Ezzor.

On Thursday, it was reported that the Syrian army discovered a key tunnel of the ISIL in the old airport district in the Southern part of the city of Deir Ezzor, later it was destroyed by the Syrian Arab Army.

An agreement was negotiated by Russia and the United States regarding truce in Syria. Many suggest that Washington is among the main supporters of terrorists fighting against the Syrian government forces.

Nevertheless, the Arab country is currently observing an agreement for the cessation of hostilities which entered into force on February 27. The agreement stipulates the cessation of all military hostilities in Syria, except for the operations against ISIS terrorist group and al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front militants.
