A military camp of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) 4th Division located northwest of the country’s capital, Damascus, was targeted during the recent Israeli attack on Syria.
Israel’s ImageSat International released on November 21 satellite images revealing that at least two large buildings in the camp were completely wiped out by Israeli airstrikes.
Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on Damascus and the country’s southern region early on November 20 in response to a rocket attack from Syria, which allegedly took place on November 19. According to the information provided by the Israeli military, several key positions of the SAA and Iranian forces were destroyed.
Satellite images released by ImageSat International a day earlier confirmed that at least two alleged Iranian positions around Damascus were attacked by Israel.
Several Syrian service members and civilians were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes. However, there are no credible reports of any losses in the ranks of Iranian forces.
