Russia's Gazprom Receives License from Turkey to Build Under Water of Turkish Stream

Russia’s Gazprom has received the first permission from Turkey  to construct the under water section of the Turkish Stream pipeline, Interfax reported on September 14, citing Gazprom’s report.

According to Interfax, Gazprom had already reported that it had received the “first permits to realize Turkish Stream” a week ago.

Now it became clear that Gazprom received a permission for the construction of the pipeline’s under water section.

“I would like to commend our Turkish partners for being so prompt and cooperative at the first stage of the TurkStream project,” Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, said in the company statement.
