Russian Units Push Towards Kramatorks Amid Collapse Of Defense Of Kyiv Forces In Mariupol

Mariupol

Units of the Russian Armed Forces, the Donetsk People’s Republics and the Lugansk People’s Republics have been developing the military operation in Ukraine. As of April 9, the most intense fighting is ongoing in Donetsk and Lugansk Regions as well as in the south of Kharkiv Region in the east of Ukraine.

In Mariupol, units of the Russian Armed Forces and the DPR enter the port area of the city. Some sources claim that they have already established control of most of the port area. Intense fighting is still ongoing in the vicinity of Azovstal Plant. However, the plant itself still remains the stronghold of Kyiv’s forces, including members of the notorious Azov Battalion.

Servicemen of Russia and the DPR continue to evacuate civilians from the city of Mariupol. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, during the day more than 80 civilians, including 14 children, were taken out of the basements of residential buildings located near the contact line. Russian-led forces use armoured vehicles to evacuate civilians.

The Russian Defense Ministry added that in the evening of April 8, the Kiev government made a new unsuccessful attempt to evacuate the “leaders of the Ukrainian Nazis” from Mariupol by sea. The Ukrainian dry cargo vessel “Apache” (assigned to the Maltese port of Valletta, under the Maltese flag) that was involved in this attempt was detained by Russian forces.

DPR units with the support from the Russian armed Forces are also involved in positional clashes near Maryinka and Avdiivka. Nonetheless, no notable gains were reported there. Both areas are well-fortified and used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as strong points to slow down the advance of DPR in the region.

Meanwhile, LPR troops have been working to expand their foothold in the area of Popasnaya. The town itself and its surroundings are the contested area.

To the north of Popasnaya, in the countryside of the Severodonetsk-Lysichansk agglomeration LPR and Russian units carry out intense strikes on positions of Kyiv’s forces. Sporadic clashes also were reported in the vicinity of the nearby town of Rubezhnoe.

An intense fighting is also ongoing in the area to the south of the town of Izum (south of Kharkiv Region), which has been recently came under control of the Russian military. According to reports, forward units of the Russian Armed Forces already reached the countryside of the towns of Slovyansk and Kramatorks. However, the situation in the area remains unclear and the storm of these strongholds of Kyiv’s forces is not likely in the coming days.

The Russian side reported that during the day, the Russian airpower hit 65 military facilities of Ukraine. These targets included four command posts and communication centers, three warehouses for logistics, as well as 41 strong points and areas of concentration of Ukrainian military equipment.

At the same time. Russian air defense systems shot down three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the air: two – in the areas of the settlements of Mariupol and Kalininskoe, another one – “Bayraktar TB-2” – in the area of the settlement of Sakhnovshchina.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the military operation, Russian forces have destroyed 127 Ukrainian aircraft, 98 helicopters, 428 unmanned aerial vehicles, 2037 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 229 multiple rocket launchers, 886 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 1941 units of special military vehicles.

This just in:

The rocket that hit Kramatorsk and killed civilians at the railroad station yesterday is not just Ukrainian.

The first photo shows the serial number of one of the Tochka-U missiles that flew yesterday to Kramatorsk and was shot down. The one on which it was written “For the children.”

On the second is the serial number of Tochka-U, which hit the settlement on February 2, 2015. Alchevsk (LNR).

The serial numbers are not just identical, they differ by one digit: 9M79-1 Sh91565 and 9M79-1 Sh91579.

This is yet another irrefutable proof that it was Ukraine that struck Kramatorsk yesterday.

Theo

Imagine firing rockets at your own people to slaughter them for western cameras… and being that stupid not to remove serial number.

But it doesn’t even matter because demons from Washington DC control all western media and no one, absolutely NO ONE dares to tell the truth.

B A

Totally agree with your first point, but I think it will matter. There is a chance, and I hope we can all pray, that the Ukranians can wake up and realize the true nature of their regime—particularly the SBU, Zelensky, and the Azov meth heads.

I want to add one more suggestion regarding the sorting of captured Ukr and Nazis. Medical brain scans can distinguish normal people from psychopaths. Psychopaths lack a certain volume for some regions of the brain. I’ll try to elaborate in a future post

Yes, Theo, it is truly sad that the soldiers of Ukraine no longer realize that they are fighting the wrong enemy. Not until all the heads of the Hydra have been cut off will they be able to understand what is going on. They are blindly following orders of people who mean them and their homeland harm.

Bob

It’s western journos that took those pictures in the first place which makes it even more ironic.

First, they are not their own people, missile was sent by Catholic Nazis from western Ukraine to the Orthodox population of eastern Ukraine. It doesn’t matter that they live in the same state, they are two different peoples living in one artificially created state. Secondly, they are not in the least interested in hiding evidence because the Western propaganda machinery is working full steam ahead for them …

There is proof that minutes before the rocket hit the station Russia was claiming the attack.

The modern Russian Federation military simply doesn’t equip with Tocha-U as front line weapon – they are thirty years old – and Russia has developed far better and newer medium range systems. BUT, Ukraine does use Tochka-U as front line weapon – and the last one was fired directly into Donetsk marketplace just last month by 95th UAF Missile Brigade. Of course, none of this factual information matters to NATO officials, or will be relayed to the lemmings western public – the NATO PSYCH-OP’s are in full swing now. For weeks, the first NATO PSYCH-OP narrative has been ‘plucky little Ukraine is winning’! But that particular PSYCH-OP has a very limited shelf life, as the battlefield reality seeps out and consistent UAF defeats grows clearer, so the second NATO PSYCH-OP narrative is switching over to claims of Russian atrocities, all day, every day! NATO – they are nothing if not entirely predictable.

Afterthought

Pushing is good, having the troops to hold conquered ground has been the problem. Having rotations of units so you can rest and refit is needed. Having a reserve that can flexible and opportunistically attack is good.

In other words the Plan B requires 400,000 men.

Matej

Totaly agre with your apinion. You can have air superiority but if ther is not enough boots on the groun, ther is no succes.

Vuk

400.000 is too much. Kyiv has in Eastern Ukraine cca 40-50.000 solders who can’t leave trenches otherwise they will be destroyed by Russian air forces. Practically they don’t have possibility to maneuver. No help from Western Ukraine will come since Russians already squashed attempt by Nazi regime to transfer some units from Kyiv towards East. Also adding that they are don’t have so much reserves of fuel and food. Russians will simply close circle going from some point between Donetsk and Gulyaypole towards Izyum on the North. After that it will be slow and agonizing death for Nazi idiots still believing some help will come from NATO.

kalle

Better to be careful, because things often don’t play out as expected. Future will tell who this war plays out. Given huge losses of military infrastructure, I expect serious problems to supply for the AFU units. However, they keep shelling civilians in Donbass at a rate of 100 – 300 shells a day.

mistiick

All they can do is to use trenches and bunkers they dug out and fortified in last 8 years. I would expect all line from Marinka up to Popasnaya is very well fortified. That’s why main attack will come from behind, from direction of Izjum on north, and from Zaporizye / DPR border area in the south. If successful, Russia will effectively seal cauldron in Kramatorsk – Sloviansk area (DPR), but also effectively encircle big cities of Dnipro and Zaporizhya on west side. Those cities are both on the Dniepr river so it will not be perfect encirclement, but it will be enough to completely block parts east of the river. After this, the painful part starts, since i’m afraid more of those cities will have to go through long siege and sweeping proccess.

EyeintheSky

At least the Ukraine forces don’t have to dig graves for their dead soldiers. The trenches they currently hide in will suffice as graves for them all. 😂🤣

Afterthought

The more you have, the shorter the war, the more lives and wealth are saved on both sides.

Arzt Injektion

Here is a map that you might fight useful: https://www.uawardata.com Was last updated April 6th. Have no idea when the next update will be. Unfortunately, it does not provide the Ukrainian units, but you can see that Russia has gathered a lot of forces coming down from the Izium/kaymanka, probably over 100,000. I need some help from someone to tell me how many troops are in a Russian Division, Regiment, etc.

B A

they have been doing rotations. But yes, all valid points, and these were a big part of the reason for pulling out of certain towns.

I hope after rest these troops get extensive further training on drone recon tech and other specialized areas, so when they finally rotate in a second time, they will be well improved.

They are brining in a new commander who had much success in Syria. If more troops are needed, they will be dispatched. There is huge build up in the Izium/Kharkov axis. 2-3k arrive every day.

Johan, wars are fought and won. Places get conquered. Ukraine is too important to Russia to fall into the hands of NATO/US. Right now, it’s not Ukraine vs Russia. It’s USA vs Russia. This is a proxy war, almost direct war. Russia won’t lose a land war right next to it. Just like the US won’t lose a ground war in right next to it.

Fights in Mariupol are coming to an end

According to units of the DPR and the RF Armed Forces have reached the sea and are fighting in the port of Mariupol. Previously, it was under the control of the Ukrainian national battalions.

“We went to the sea. We are cleaning up,” one of the people’s militia fighters told us.

A significant part of the port is already in the hands of the allies. If the defense of the Ukrainian Nazis there finally collapses, then it will be possible to safely state the capture of Mariupol.

Dibby

They will use the plant once it joins Russia and destroy it would require months to clear the debris.

Last edited 4 months ago by Omas Bioladen

Rubble actually presents a better shelter than standing structures. You can perfectly fine conduct fighting out of it. The Azov battalion is digged in deep and is using existing underground structures.

Azovstal was a perfectly fine working industry complex, making quality steel products. No need to destroy this asset.

The Russian artillery performs rather lackluster so far, not well coordinated and lacking precision, actually in the whole Ukraine campaign. Surprisingly.

No need to waste ammunition from the Russian aerospace force on deeply entrenched troups.

Now the marine helps from the sea with precision strikes. Let’s see whether this furthers the cause.

none

Two reasons: 1. the steel plant is important, the more intact it’s kept, the better. There are tank factories within the vicinity. 2. there are foreign soldiers/commanders there, the Russians want them captured alive.

Bird

They probably want the Azovisis leadership and NATO faglets capture alive. They pound them till they surrender.

Afterthought

It literally doesn’t matter. The actual war – the frontlines – matter. Especially Kherson.

Matej

Russians wear pushed back from Nikolajev to Kherson quait a lot. This is important bridge, if they are planing future expansion thrue Dniper river. But first, they have to secure the east side of river. Unfortunatley, i think that they dont have enough man power for any big sucess.

Afterthought

With what men?

InformedByMoD

I think that they are just forcing Ukraine to burn fuel while advancing and by that entrapping the enemy. As I really dont believe that they are going to retreat more.

Marius

Nikolaev is the key city. I’m more disappointed with withdrawal there than in the entire north. After Kherson fell Ukros realized Nikolaev was crucial to the entire south-west front. And they brought significant reinforcements, unlike Russians.

Arzt Injektion

No, Russians have considerable forces in and around Kherson. At least 5 divisions and a brigade. I have no idea why there were withdrawn though. I think it was important to keep pressure on Nikolaev, which has taken considerable losses, so much so that they were scrounging around other settlements conscripting Volksstrum.

Afterthought

Because men get tired. They need rotations and reinforcement. This is military malpractice that stems from Putin being a spy, not a warrior.

RiNS

Don’t be too disappointed Marius.. to be effective attacking force really needs upwards a 3 to 1 numbers advantage. So with limited resources it makes sense to retreat in a few places to well fortified protected positions. It does give the illusion that the Ukes are winning when there tanks are using forward gears, the trolls predicting imminent Russian defeat something to cheer and most importantly feeds into the temptation of Zelensky’s generals to attack when it is the last thing they should do. Without air-superiority the Ukes are walking into a kill zone. it is the strategy used by Soviets to defeat the Germans.

The trap is in the retreat.

wakka wakka

Weasel words.

Arzt Injektion

They got chewed up on their offensive that is true. They are really slaughtered in the battle for Kamyanka recently. I don’t think it is any exaggeration to say that Ukraine has probably lost about 50,000 fighters by now. By that number I include all the Volksstrum (territorial defenders), Nationalist groups and regular AFU. They have now calling for a third round of conscription!!! This Fucking Jew Bastard Zelensky is going to bleed Ukraine dry.

Afterthought

Yes he is. Now what is Russia going to do about it?

Afterthought

It’s not an illusion though. It’s a simple mathematical equation. Ukraine is regenerating faster than Russia is damaging it. This is what happens when you don’t call up reserves immediately once “Plan A” fails. This was day 3 of the conflict. Putin was literally on TV SCOFFING at the notion!

Military Malpractice!

none

More manpower is just a stone throws away. if Russia mobilizes they could easily move 500,000 more soldiers into the theater.

Afterthought

Why aren’t they?

Arzt Injektion

It’s coming. The voices for full mobilization get louder by the day.

They can’t move to Odessa (or to Moldavian border/Transnistria) unless take Nikolaev first. And that won’t be easy at this point. Ukros already brought reinforcements and they’ll bring more from the north.

Wizzy

After Mariupol falls

Hjalmar

I hear what you are saying, Marius, but as the pressure now is off around Kiev, for the usurpers of Ukraine, I feel it would be a major mistake to allow the ukrop soldiers to solidify their positions in the south when there is an opportunity now to block them from even getting to Odessa. If it is possible to by-pass Nikolaev and other minor cities, now is the time to do this — if not we will have many minor Mariupol scenarios in front of us to our road to victory.

Marius

I agree it mustn’t be allowed them to solidify their positions in the south even further. Unfortunately, Nikolaev can’t be bypassed, just look at the map: it must be taken before moving to Odessa. Impossible to go south of the city because there is a river/huge water area. Impractical to go north all around it because it will expose your flank to counterattacks from the city. The city must be taken. And it’s not that small either, bigger than Kherson.

p.s. on positive side, it certainly is not as fortified as Mariupol. That’s why the attack should not be delayed for too long.

The puppet president of Ukraine will of course not willingly give one inch of away of the country he is in charge of. His handlers wont let him as they don’t give a damn of the people of Ukraine. The more people that die the better for them as they can blame it all on Russia and its noble president. Therefore it is of outmost importance to strengthen the Russian forces in the south ASAP to be able to force their way through the last major obtacle, Nikolaev, to gain a clear road ahead towards Odessa — the Jewell in the Crown of the Black Sea.

Afterthought

So if you know that, why doesn’t the Kremlin?

Deplorable Commissar

“They are all on foot. ”

Thats actually the most effective way for them to fight this war as modern conflict has changed. With the advent of ant-armor and anti-aircraft portable systems and drones , tanks are probably obsolete at this point.

Bernard Davis

It’s not about tanks. The Ukros lack APCs, trucks and all manner of motorised transport; all or most destroyed, and for those that remain, very little fuel left. Those so-called portable systems still need to be lugged around somehow. No doubt they will commandeer civilian vehicles where possible, but they need fuel as well. Not a good place to be in.

HillBillySlim

militants from the 28th Specialized Brigade and Ukrainian military correspondents spread information that as a result of the “attack on Kherson” advertised by Arestovich and Kim, a significant part of the brigade’s militants has been surrounded for ten days next to one of the villages of Kherson region. There are many wounded among the militants, they are exposed to constant fire, but they are still trying to resist. It is alleged that the General Staff has already “buried” them, as during the “Ilovaisky Cauldron”. Recall that the 28th OMB has stained itself with numerous war crimes against the civilian population of Donbass, until recently it was headed by the Nazi and former Aidar battalion commander Maxim Marchenko, and among its personnel there are many staunch fans of Hitler. And if the information about the environment of the militants is true, this circumstance explains why, instead of laying down their arms and saving their lives, they continue senseless resistance.

wakka wakka

More weasel words.

Arzt Injektion

You wish. I get this information form Ukrainian Telegram Channels. Read it and weep.

Deplorable Commissar

Odessa has miles of tunnels underneath the city. It will take weeks if not months to take it, if that’s even possible. The Ukrainians have been mapping them for years now which means the Russians will be going down there blind into a virtual death trap. Not surprisingly, the Soviets used the same tunnel system to fight the Germans in WW 2 and we know who won that fight.

James

The Ukrainians are toast. The Russians will bring a flamethrower and flush them out.

Deplorable Commissar

The Germans had flamethrowers also. I think you fail to grasp the intricacies of combat in in miles long, confined spaces underground. If you think the plant in Mariupol is difficult to conquer , wait till you see the combat in Odessa.

Hjalmar

I don’t think the Russians actually need to take Odessa by force at the moment, but they need to control the area north of the city to stop the ukrops from getting there unhindered and start turning it into a fortress, which will be extremely difficult to break down. The last thing Putin wants is to start shelling that magnificent city and destroying large parts of it. The people there are, from what I can gather, to a large extent still friendly towards Russia. As things stand right now, I feel it is hard to determine exactly how to handle this major dilemma.of taking that great city and returning it back to its homeland where it belongs.

Afterthought

You have to have a lot of troops to hold the land bridge to Moldova, at least 500,000.

Hjalmar

If Russia and its allies almost encircled half of Ukraine, from Kiev down to where they are now in the south, with less than 200.000 soldiers, why would they need half a million to block the northern stretch of land above Odessa? If what you are saying is correct then they might as well give up any ideas of ever conquering the whole Black Sea coast.

Afterthought

With what men?

Hjalmar

Well, ultimately that all depends on how much Putin is prepared to pay for regaining control over Novorossiya. Russia doesn’t really need more territory, something he has aknowledged on several occasions. Russia is after all 30 times larger than the whole of Ukriane. So perhaps he will settle with just liberating Donbass and keeping the land bridge to Crimea?

HillBillySlim

command in the Nikolaev-Kherson direction

On April 7, two helicopters, Mi-8 and Mi-24, were shot down on approach to Kherson, which was confirmed by an official briefing from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Our sources in Nikolaev report that there were four helicopters in total – and all four allegedly fell (apparently, the downed ones caught the entire link). There is no confirmation from the means of objective control – but this is how history is presented at the level of the regional administration.

❗️This was the last straw in the conflict between the civil administration and the military defenders of the city.

The fact is that Governor Vitaly Kim, who received a fair portion of world fame and became a star, believed in himself and imagined himself a great army commander. And he deliberately began to challenge the decisions of Dmitry Marchenko, one of the most intelligent commanders who went through the ATO meat grinder.

To begin with, traffic was actually blocked in the city, having equipped roadblocks from tires at all important intersections. This greatly complicated the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has no practical benefit. But Kim did not listen to the military. He also published data on the transfer of armored vehicles and personnel to Nikolaev from other regions, not realizing that it harms the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine even more.

After the loss of army aviation near Kherson, the conflict reached its climax and was brought to the level of Kyiv. Vitaly Kim accused Marchenko of the failure of the counteroffensive, huge losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and low competence.

It was decided to reassign: Dmitry Marchenko, presumably, went to the Donbass, and the chief of staff of the operational command “South” Brigadier General Vladislav Leshchinsky is in command of the defense of the Nikolaev-Kherson direction.

We will see the actual results of replacing an intelligent commander who knows Mykolaiv and Kherson like the back of his hand with a native of Transcarpathia very soon. #Nikolaev, Ukraine

Now this indicates that the Ukrotards are defending a Nikolaev-Kherson axis, a situation very much at odds with Ukrotard claims that Kherson is about to be taken by the Banderpites. Odd.

Competing world powers

It’s just as the bible said it many centuries ago. Predicted in Daniel chapter 11, the pull and tug of the King of the north and the king of the south. Two great powers on earth both under satanic influence have been battling for centuries, both have the same purpose and that’s world domination exclusive of God Jehovah’s sovereignty. Furthermore, they want people’s worship as Revelation 13 describes.

These two great powers will come to to an agreement of peace the bible prophecy predicts. When the political system thinks they have succeeded in enslaving mankind, the bible says:

” Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly on them, just like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and they will by no means escape. 4 But you, brothers, you are not in darkness, so that the day should overtake you as it would thieves, 5 for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We belong neither to night nor to darkness.” 1 thessallonians 5:3-5.

Satan the devil is behind this struggle of the great powers on earth. His plan is similar to the political system objective, ” rule or ruin”. Diabolical objective is to distract people from the real source of peace and good health, which is no other than God’s kingdom- Revelation 11, 13, and chapter 21.

The Universal issue is: ” who has the right to be rightful sovereign of the earth and universe”.

It’s not really about jabs from pfizer, it’s about total control of the Earth’s inhabitants in whatever means possible and strangle all aspiration and hope of God’s kingdom and it’s rightful ruler for the earth , Jesus Christ appointed by Jehovah God.

We need to pray for God’s kingdom to come soon and judge these beastly powers that disdain Jehovah’s appointed king in heaven, none else but Jesus Christ.

“Your will be done on earth as in heaven, your kingdom come.” Matthew 6.

It’s hard to make sense out of killers like Ukronazis and ISIS killers. Russia will do what the do and after observation of their behavior in Syria, they have humanity in the them. This passes off the USA, hence there lies and seething anger against the Russians.

Ukrops won’t get far even if they try it. Russians will just pull back to a better position and commence the turkey shoot.

Afterthought

That’s how war works? You just magically win?

No, the correct answer is reinforce.

James

Fall back to a better position and shoot the enemies that approach without adequate cover? It’s not even rocket science let alone magic.

mike brown

what ukraine should do is distract and fire many missles to distract the russiam detection while also making a strong march forward in all directions in mariupol while this is all happening the important people can then escape

Anyone want to address the retaking of Kherson?

This is what happens when you don’t use enough men.

Meanwhile, your enemies are nakedly calling for the breakup of the Russian Federation.

Putin and Co should be sued for military and diplomatic malpractice.

‘….sued for military and diplomatic malpractice’? What a stupid americanised thing to say. The rest of the world doesn’t use that except for civil matters. Update the CIA library so your less obvious next time Clown.

Yea, those sorosist satanic pedophiles also often say: ‘politically incorect or correct’, another imbecility in its core. In fact they invented this cabalistic affirmation

I understand your frustration, everybody who loves Russia feels that way. But Putin is a devout Christian who genuinely cares for his people, including the poor misled Ukrainians, something that we can see in the way he wages war. Had he done what he should have done in Donbass and the South 8 years ago and finished the job then, when he had the chance, things would have been much simpler today. Paul Craig Roberts critizised Putin for that very mistake in an article the other day. Had he been totally ruthless like Stalin, he probably would have taken all of Ukraine in a couple of weeks, bombing it all to rubble. But that is not his style and therefore this military operation keeps dragging on. Hopefully he now begins to understand what needs to be done with regards to reinforcements.
