The joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center in Nagorno-Karabakh will begin its work on January 30, according to reports in Russian media.
According to reports, a total of 60 Russian and 60 Turkish service members will be involved in the operation.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that Russian military personnel were preparing to work in the joint center to control the ceasefire and all hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The center will be deployed on the territory controlled by Azerbaijan.
Reports suggest that the center will be located in the district of Agdam, in about 8km from the contact line.
