On October 25th, MSNBC host Chuck Todd said that he feared that Russia may be behind the #MAGAbomber hysteria.
Meanwhile, the FBI and other agencies in the US are continuing their hunt of the perpetrator(s) responsible for shipping a number of pipe bombs to prominent Democrats and other public figures who have been critical of the Trump administration. It began with a bomb being mailed to George Soros’s New Your home on October 22nd and the most recent one appears to be to Hollywood actor Robert de Niro on October 25th.
MSNBC's Chuck Todd says he "has this fear" that the bombs shipped through the mail to prominent Democrats "could be some Russian operation" to sow division in the US.

The media hysteria around the events is significant, as can be expected. There are interviews with all sorts of experts and analysts, looking at the facts and speculating.
It is no surprise that Russia is blamed once more, after all it allegedly meddle in the 2016 elections. It supposedly is attempting a more direct approach this time, surprisingly to the benefit of the Democrats, since it allegedly benefitted Trump in the Presidential election.
“This feels like a spot — I have this fear this could be some Russian operation too — designed to do what’s happening now. More of this — you know. In some ways, we shouldn’t rule out — it is dividing us,” Todd said during a panel on the bombing attempts.
Todd’s segment began with him playing a video of Trump claiming that political leaders should stop portraying their opponents as “morally defective,” on October 24th.
However, on the following day, Trump blamed the media for the “anger” in the US society.
A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News. It has gotten so bad and hateful that it is beyond description. Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!

Sputnik also reported that Todd’s remarks that Russia is behind the deliveries followed Daily Beast columnist Jonathan Alter who spoke about “the big lie.”
As reported by Sputnik:
“Alter spoke about a propaganda technique called the “big lie,” popularized by Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels in 1941 when he said, “The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big and stick to it” The term has since come to mean that effective lies are so “colossal” that nobody could believe that the person who told the lie “could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously,” in Hitler’s words.”
“You just tell a lie as big as you can, because you know a lot of people are gonna believe it,” Alter said, moments before Todd blamed Russia for another misconduct without providing any evidence whatsoever.
Meanwhile, on the same day, NYC Police briefly evacuated the Time Warner Center, which houses the CNN news room. This is the second evacuation of the building, after on the previous day an explosive device addressed to former CIA director John Brennan was discovered in CNN’s mail room.
As a precaution, the NYPD is currently evaluating a pair of unattended packages at the Time Warner Center Mall, Columbus Circle in Manhattan. More information will be released as it becomes available. pic.twitter.com/VqrzHZJ6zv

During the second evacuation the CNN offices appeared to not be affected. Police simply evacuated the first three floors of the shopping center. It turned out to be a false alarm, a package appeared to be abandoned and it gave people a scare.

Shortly before the evacuation, a Florida courthouse was evacuated when officials discovered a suspicious device with protruding wires in the building.
The RT reported that federal investigators are focusing on South Florida as the origin of the packages.
None of the packages exploded and all of them were intercepted before reaching their targets.
The hysteria around the events is expanding, however, with MSM adding fuel to the fire. Unsurprisingly, some US media outlets do not miss to attempt to cause even further controversy and also add fuel to the US-Russia tensions.
