On December 20 and 21, Russian sources shared videos documenting four recent strikes with Lancet loitering munitions on equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The first strike targeted a Soviet-made Buk-M1 medium-range air-defense system, the second a Soviet-made P-18 long-range VHF radar while the third and fourth strikes targeted two American-made M777 towed 155 mm howitzers.
The Russian military expanded the use of Lancet loitering munitions in the special operation zone in Ukraine in the last few months, especially against high-value military targets like NATO-standard howitzers as well as air-defense and radar systems.
The ZALA Aero Group, a subsidiary of Russia’s defense giant Kalashnikov Concern, produces two versions of the loitering munition, the Izdeliye-52 with an endurance of 40 minutes and a three-kilogram warhead and the larger Izdeliye-51 that has an endurance of an hour and is armed with a warhead weighting five kilograms.
Both versions are equipped with an elector-optical system that allows them to detect, track and lock on static and moving targets.
Due to their low-flying profile, small radar cross-section and minimal infrared signature, loitering munitions like the Lancet are extremely hard to intercept. At the same time, they are cheap and easy to mass produce.
Ukraine is still struggling to counter the threat of the Lancet and other Russian loitering munitions even after receiving modern electronic warfare and air-defense systems from its allies in the West.

Ukraine is suffering so badly yet zelensky wants to escalate his war with Russia. Not content with bombing his own people out of their homes for the last 8 years, he now wants to bomb Russian homes.
The sooner the people of Ukraine come to their senses, the sooner this will end. If they continue to allow nato puppets to run the country into the ground they will only have themselves to blame. Maybe it’s time to do the Maidan properly, without any outside interference, and before it’s too late.

Sadly the warhead is only 3-5 kg. A 10-15 kg would be much more appreciated, as the precision is well on the spot.
Russia should also focus on killing and maiming actual enemy infantry. While they can get equipment in nearly endless supply from NATO terrorists, manpower is the one thing Ukronazis don’t have in nearly infinite supply.
They don’t really need to as long as the cost to damage ratio is so high. Artillery teams become useless the moment their equipment is wrecked and guess what? That means diverting logistics to
– maybe (but unlikely) repair or replace the damage
– definitely rescue the crew that isn’t equipped for offensive action
It screws up the whole logistics order and flow that plans for movement are based on at the strategic level. Imagine that happening all over various fronts, such an annoyance but worse, it makes critical people vulnerable to attack.
It takes weeks for new assets to replace ones that are destroyed and while that is happening, you can do one of two things.
Sacrifice your trained crew for something stupid or force them to wait for replacement equipment.
Both ways, it results in a lot of stalled movement, something Ukraine cannot sustain.

Ukraine will end up completely destroyed, and it’s all down to the US and their oil rags(the EU). I live in the EU and I’m ashamed of their actions towards Russia. Let me tell you that the vast majority of the EU citizens know what’s happening and that Russia is only defending themselves against US aggression.
