Russia Releases Videos Of Fresh Strikes On Militants’ Positions In Greater Idlib

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released several videos of recent airstrikes on militants’ positions in Greater Idlib in northwestern Syria.

The airstrikes, which were carried out between August 12 and 14, destroyed positions, ammo depots, headquarters and caves of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies.

The Russian Aerospace Forces are playing a key role in supporting the Syrian Army’s large-scale offensive in southern Idlib and northern Hama.

Over the last few days, terrorist groups have suffered heavy losses as a result of Russian airstrikes and clashes with the Syrian Army. A new report by the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) revealed that at least 35 militants were killed on August 16 only.

Syrian air forces should not use unguided bombs because their targets are not accurate and definitely innocent civilians will be targeted.

The use of guided bombs is cost effective because it hits its target precisly and could save many bombs and innocent civiluans lives. where you need three bombs then there you will use just one bomb. Syrian defence industry can easily convert 2000 unguided bombs to guided ones per week by just using imported kits from China.

LS PGM (precision guided munitions) is a Chinese made kit that convert an unguided bomb into a precision guided bomb. Even Syria can make these kits. These kits can be fit on the unguided bombs and on unguided rockets to convert them to guided bombs and guided missiles.

It looks like that Russia has stopped pleasing Erdongan at Idlib. I hope Putin does not force Assad to make another stupid ceasefire on Idlib and to stop SAA offensive. Russia airpower support and tactics are fundamental for ground troops to be successful.
