The Bastion-P is a mobile modification of the Bastion-S defense missile system, armed with the P-800 Oniks anti-ship missiles (known in export markets as Yakhont). Due to its design, the Bastion-P is able to destroy surface ships, including convoys, battle groups, and landing crafts in all weather conditions.

The system also includes a command and control vehicle on the chassis of KAMAZ-43101or MZKT-65273 with a four-man crew, a transport and load vehicle, an alert system, and other targeting and protection systems.

As standard, the Bastion-P is armed with 24 anti-ship missiles and is able to protect up to 600 kilometers of coastline from enemy amphibious operations.
