On September 15, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed historic peace treaties with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in Washington. The development was sponsored by the administration of US President Donald Trump and the event was attended by Trump himself.
“This is an incredible day for the world,” US President Donald Trump said at the start of the ceremony.
He claimed that the courage of the Israeli and Arab leaders enabled these countries “to take a major stride toward a future where people of all faiths live together in peace and prosperity.”
Meanwhile, rockets were fired by Palestinain armed groups in the Gaza Strip at southern Israel. According to reports, 2-6 people were slightly injured in the strikes.
