Rocket Attack Hits Refugee Camp In Southern Turkey. 2 Killed, 12 Injured – Reports


On January 22, two rockets reportedly hit a refugee camp in the southern Turksih province of Hatay killing at least 2 persons and injuring 12 others. According to reports, the rockets were allegedly launched by Kurdish militias from Syria’s area of Afrin.

Pro-Kurdish sources say that units of the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) use this camp as a rear base. However, no FSA members were killed or injured in the attack.

On January 20, the Turkish Armed Forces launched a military operation against Kurdish militias YPG/YPJ in Afrin. On January 22, the operation enterd the third day. MORE DETAILS
