The recent intensification of military hostilities in the so-called Idlib de-escalation zone has drawn attention of the top US leadership, including US President Donald Trump.
On June 3, the President called on Syria, Russia and “to a lesser extent, Iran”, to strop “bombing the hell out of Idlib Province in Syria, and indiscriminately killing many innocent civilians.”
“The World is watching this butchery. What is the purpose, what will it get you? STOP!”, Trump wrote.
Hearing word that Russia, Syria and, to a lesser extent, Iran, are bombing the hell out of Idlib Province in Syria, and indiscriminately killing many innocent civilians. The World is watching this butchery. What is the purpose, what will it get you? STOP!

Surprisingly, the US president just copied Obama administration remarks regarding the situation in Syria when the Russian military entered the conflict to deliver a blow to terrorists in 2015. Then, various US officials were also calling al-Qaeda and in some cases, ISIS, with a moderate term “rebels” and blaiming Russia for indiscriminate strike. Unfortunately, for al-Qaeda, ISIS and their allies, these calls found no understanding in the Russian leadership.
The interesting fact that just a few years ago, Mr Trump had a clear understanding of the real sitaution in Syria. Something seems to have changed since then.
Obama wants to unilaterally put a no-fly zone in Syria to protect Al Qaeda Islamists http://t.co/DCgP83Oxas Syria is NOT our problem.
