Every piece of Russian equipment supplied to Syria has to be paid for in hard US$s by Iran.

Did Russians just announce the entrance of Terminators to the Syrian battlefield? Perfect for busting up jihadist in running fight through the desert. I wouldn’t be in their shitty pants when this baby starts singing…

    • Jesus

ISIS armour is trying to engage Syrian armour on their way to Deir Ezzor and south east, these Terminators would make the work a lot easier, their Akata missiles would fry the ISIS junk, and their 30MM guns would clean up the desert from infantry remnants and their Toyotas.

      • Hrky75

These babies are product of Chechen wars experience and a future of armor warfare. They are optimized to protect armor against light infantry armed with ATGMs. Also they can fend off any surprise attack on supply convoys – and these will become more common in days to come now the SAA is working it’s way to Al Bukamal.

        • Jesus

They are great in urban warfare, and a great addition to armored units increasing the fire power of direct engagement against enemy tanks. With the introduction with T15 you bould basically have the same firepower, better protection and the ability to move motorized infantry in tandem with tanks.

          • John Whitehot

what I don’t get is if these vehicles are currently attached or deployed with the Russian Naval Infantry unit in Khmeynim. I did not know that they were actually accepted for operational service in active units. It would be interesting to see how are they encadred in their parent organization.

          • Jesus

From what I remember reading this Terminator based on a T-72 platform was developed as a weapon that could take care guerrillas in urban warfare, and at the same time have great presence in an armored battle. This Terminator suffered the same fate as the T90, where production was limited in favor of the Armata platform. A Terminator based on the Armata platform is in the works, which would be more capable and protected than this one.
I think the Russians are a little cautious in showing their hand, this Terminator would have been great in the battle of Aleppo.
The same way they slowly deployed the T-90 tanks in Syria, followed by the Terminator. Terminators work in tandem with tanks, in urban warfare 2 or more Terminators per tank, in an open field 1 Terminator per tank.

          • John Whitehot

yeah, I know more or less the technical aspects of the vehicle, I was more interested in tactical and organizational considerations. I was initially inclined to think that they worked with 1 Terminator platoon attached to every tank company, but if what you describe is correct than they’d put 1 company of terminators alongside 1 of tanks in the same batalion level command.

That seems a little heavy to me, although it’s not easy to follow all the latest developments in this subject, especially when considering that Russian ground forces have reformed much in the field of organizational flexibility.

      • Wahid Algiers

Also good for a special use at the so-called border to “Israel”…..exactly following the border line with little breakout in direction of the zionists….

  • Anacleto López

Long live Generalissimo Bashar Al Assad!

  • Cyriak Papasissis

Hopefully this visit has more than symbolic meaning , in that the Russian air defense is going to protect the Syrian ground troops from now on.

  • Bob

Terminator Mk II – c’mon let it loose in east Damascus!

    • Wahid Algiers

…and at the 2/3 of the Golan hights which are actually borrowed and not given back.

    • Concrete Mike

Thats what that sexy sexy ifv is terminator, it looks really badass

      • Bob

It’s bristling with weaponry – was developed by Russian company as urban combat platform to overcome problems facing tanks in urban environments – and to actually protect tanks – addressing the need for very low and very high gun elevation to hit basements and upper story enemy firing points, lessons from Chechnya. Russian army rejected it as uses Soviet legacy T-72 chassis – they went with quite similar design but on completely new modular chassis at beginning of its design cycle – but Terminator II would be perfect export for Syrian army’s needs and as existing T-72 tank chassis can be converted.

The US terrorists coalition branch Ezrahel have produced 400 nuclear Hydrogen bombs in the Nuclear city of Negev and in Dimona nuclear plants of Dimona town.

Ezrahel have produced 120,000 Chemical and Biological weapons in the town of Ness Ziona near Tel Aviv, in the Izrahel Institute for Biological Research (IIBR) laboratories.

Now US led terrorist coalition teaching us that who uses chemical weapons. BS…

    • Concrete Mike

Our Friend Nasrallah Will take care of thèse facilities when then Time comes

      • Stephen

As Nasrullah crushing Ezraheli buddies ISIS and Al-Qaeda similarly one day will come and Nasrullah will crush all evil Ezrahel and will clean Middle East from these evils.

  • Stephen

Syrian never went to America to use chemical attack on America or UK. This is actually US led terrorists coalition that do chemical attacks on Syrian nation that is why they are there in Syria.

US led terrorists coalition should have to move their asses out of Syria quickly and should have to stop supporting terrorists and terrorism in other countries. .

  • Stephen

I see that free fighter jets and helicopters enter into Syrian air from Ezrahel for strike on Syrian nation. I surprise why Russia is so afraid of Ezrahel and US that cannot test their S-300 and S400 on them to check their capabilities.

Don’t be afraid of US led terrorists coalition Through Deck Cruisers (Air craft carriers). That is a weak point of US terrorist coalition. Russia have nuclear missiles and that is a big power.

    • John Whitehot

another troll shitload drop talking about countries being “afraid”.

      • Stephen

As Arab countries now crushing Ezraheli buddies ISIS and Al-Qaeda similarly one day will come and all Arab countries will crush all evil Ezrahel and will clean Middle East from these evils. Its a mater of awareness and education.

    • Chris Saunders

It’s not that simplistic buddy. .

  • Steve

Long live Assad. He is the legitimate government in Syria,if only the US could stop fooling and cooperate with Assad to find a lasting solution for the Syrian crises.

    • Jas

That’s easy, we could just stop funding the terrorists. Rep. Gabbard of Hawaii has a bill to stop the funding of terrorists groups, only 13 people in the house support it and zero in the senate. Seems to me, congress members who are in favor of arming terrorists and send them money, are in violation of the Patriot Act and the NDAA. They should be locked up, the American people don’t support invading Syria or arming terrorists.

His time will come sooner or later

Is that you McCain? What is coming, are you looking into your cheesy cracked crystal ball? Guys like you are dime a dozen, arm chair generals that haven’t a clue left in their daft brains.

You actually want a war between US and Russia, go back to your Kibbutz, you are useless here.

I know what is recently discovered in the cities along the euphrates. very very large oil discovery that will be the reason everything else is nonsense and false flags. Some reports are saying it’s Golan heights but that is fake news it’s indeed in the cities along the euphrates

Good visit by Mr Assad to see fully functioning Russian controlled equipment which will never be used to defend the Syrian Military from Israeli or US led “Terror Axis” attacks.

  • Caldera

Nice display and a real good PR move during this tense time. While the left, democrats along with their corporate media narratives dissolve this is refreshing to see the momentum, winning the war and not stopping for illegal imposed US ‘deconfliction’ zones.

All the way boys, to Deir Ezzor, Raqqa and all points Syria!
