By March 19, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the National Defense Forces, the Tiger Forces, the Republican Guard and other pro-government factions had liberated about 80% of the Damascus subrub of Eastern Ghouta.

Government forces have recently liberated the areas of Saqba and Kafr Batna from Faylaq al-Rahman and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda). Thus, army troops have deployed in a strong position for an advance on the areas of Erbeen and Ain Terma.

The reported negotiations between the govrnment and militants in Douma and Harasta have resulted in no notable results so far. Some pro-government sources speculate that this may trigger further clashes in the area.

Meanwhile, civilians flee the militant-held part of Eastern Ghouta. The daily humanitarian pauses allow to avoid further civilian casualties and to deliver humanitarian aid to the besieged areas.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced on March 19 that the presidents of Russia, Iran and Turkey will meet in Istanbul on April 4 to discuss a settlement in Syria.

“It has been agreed that the presidents of Russia, Iran and Turkey will gather for a summit meeting to agree on more approaches to promoting the settlement principles that were approved by the UN Security Council and actively supported by the Astana process,” Lavrov said.

Keep an eye on the British, they are behind all of this. No one knows what is going to happen. One must understand why the “potential” for actions exists in the first place. Should not become part of hysteria campaign. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/b512ca806894b1f1d06fc98a0759ef0ece1888a55ac16c9eeeb64a79a9dbc3fa.jpg

Blaming Putin on poisoning some ex spies won’t help them either. BoJo seems to be the daddy of the White Helmets..

      • goingbrokes

The poison story is complete hokum. Many more people would have died – Salisbury would in lockdown and isolated.

        • jerry hamilton

The government are unable to give any information about any of it.
They don’t even know where the supposed victims are.

        • jerry hamilton

It seems that while May is broadcasting to the world what it is, the scientists at Porton Down don’t have a clue what it is.
They are however being pressured to identify it as Russian.

SALISBURY POISON ATTACK: BRITISH POLICE FINDS PUTIN’S ID CARD AT THE SCENE

Now, the last doubts about the perpetrators of Russia in the poisoning of the Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal should be cleared up. As the British government announced today, the ID card of Russian President Vladimir Putin was discovered at the crime scene in Salisbury.

According to British Prime Minister Theresa May, the ID card was only found in a re-investigation of the crime scene because it was under a leaf.

“Russia now has 24 hours to deliver Vladimir Putin to be interviewed in London,” the British government said. “Otherwise, we’ll take that as a guilty admission.”

Lol they’re nit behind all of this bit ok!!÷??? I do agree keep eye on th w m in light o f the russina britt thing they might pressure America and her proxies to act further

    • jerry hamilton

No. The UK are not behind it. The government strongly support it. The Brit’s don’t.
Most of us don’t support our government in the slightest.
But Yes. Be wary of the actions of the British government.

    • Jim Prendergast

Agreed. British and French “Intelligence” have been at work in Syria from the start. America has never had any intelligence. The Brits are still big on directing petro from the Mid. East. Reason sleeps.

    • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

The French Government are long time supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria and have many connections in the Middle East. They and UK still keep their assets in the region and have Saudi backing.

if only you knew what I knew! Hint, what engines did the Mig-15 use?

    80% – soon to be 100% I bet in under a week

    • Elisabeth Jenders

Keep in mind it’s urban areas from now on, much more difficult and dangerous than the countryside so far.

Those militant factions really are ‘rats’ they are non stop tunnelers. The influx of foreign financed and smuggled small to medium scale tunneling machinery has certainly assisted this relentless subterranean activity.

        • Brad Isherwood

          Yes….which means Recon is key.
No need to drive tanks up to pre set ATGM kill zones.
Syria’s made great gains in last month….yet it’s been costly in losses.
12 tanks in 2 weeks in one sector.
          https://maps.southfront.org/photoreport-syrian-armys-battle-tank-repair-plant/
          Syria did recieve Retired Russian military T 62Ms ,and 12? T 90 A? .
Video of SAA operations shows many T 72s in near worn out condition .
Probable that Turn around from repair yard and what’s recoverable after hit by ATGM
vs attrition ratio may be 50/50 over time.
With Syria’s energy sector economy smashed. ..??? as to where money will come from to build up its military.
Hopefully SAA have more home built Sarab ATGM jammers….especially now that it’s roll up against the cornered rats who will use whatever is left in their arsenal.
Be great if Russia/Syrian MI get locates on arsenals /com traffic leadership,
Kalibr/ Thermobaric bomb the hell out of them.

          • Bob

If SAA can negotiate civilians out of residential urban areas – then either TOS-1 thermobaric or UR-77 mine clearing line-charges sent over the entrenchments and tunnels both be devastating options.

        • gustavo

Of course, that is why SAA has to be faster, stronger, braver, without any fair, without mercy to terrorists.

      • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Most are negotiating to leave right now more surrender daily and leave. SAA needed to clear the area as the Neanderthals were playing with fire by staging alleged chemical attacks. The difference is now they will look for another region near in the south to stage from while Operation Juniper Cobra is hiding in Israel waiting for its chance to invade from Israel on false flag narrative.

  • Wolfgang Wolf

bomb the camelfuckers out. no mercy, no nothing.

  • Johnpd
