New Wave Of Russian Airstrikes Target Terrorists In Greater Idlib (Videos)

Donate

On October 23, warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a series of airstrikes on terrorists’ positions in the so-called Greater Idlib region.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the airstrikes targeted the towns of Ma’aret Hurmah, Rakaya Sijneh, Kafar Sijnah, Jbala, Sheikh Mustafa, Hizareen and Kafr Nabl in the southern Idlib countryside as well as the town of Kabani in northern Lattakia.

“There is no information about any human losses, so far,” the UK-based monitoring group’s report reads.

Opposition activists released several videos showing some of the Russian airstrikes on the southern Idlib countryside.

The Russian Aerospace Forces resumed their actions against Greater Idlib terrorists earlier this month, in what appear to be a response to the repeated violations of the ceasefire in the region.

video 2 and 3 some aerosol bombs… dont want to be near it)

    • FlorianGeyer

The aerosol bombs are a certain cure for Terrorist body oder, I am told.

      • John Wallace

Yes the smell of burnt flesh is certainly preferable to that body odor. But apparently goats get excited when they smell that body odor .

        • FlorianGeyer

I am informed that maggots also enjoy cooked Wahabi flesh, John:)

    • PZIVJ

Thermobaric? I don’t see it. Not enough flame in explosion.

      • Wolfgang Wolf

look in slow motion.. in the last video you can see explosion before the bomb reached ground level.. plus the ball of flames with it radius of shock wave…. typical

    • Bruno Gama

The 3rd video is probably a BETAB family bomb…compare with this video from Russian MOD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oz1sDruFojo

Interesting ??. especially after Trump saying they had secured the oil wells from Assad.

  • Bruno Gama

The 3rd video sure a Thermobaric Bomb, should not be used in populated areas…

    • Lonesome Cowboy Burt

Are you certain it couldn’t be perhaps an ammo depot instead? Or bomb making quarters?

      • Bruno Gama

Certainty, only the Russians can give to you. But it looks like a single thermobaric bomb. It’s less expensive than precision guided missiles. No Ammo depot also. No Secondary explosions, fire is in the air before the complete blast. An OFAB 250/500 maybe…

        • Bruno Gama

Correcting, an BETAB family bomb, probably… OFAB are cluster bombs, dropped by SU-25 or SU-30…The BETABs are both bunker buster and thermobaric, for obvious reasons…

Many of the conflict zones and militant controlled bases of operations are actually depopulated areas – that said, in the militant occupied towns they regularly hold the town residents as hostages for human shielding.

      • Bruno Gama

This is the same excuse used by Western countries and Israel when them bomb out the hell Arabs

        • Bob

In any conflict civilians rarely stay on conflict zone front lines – however, militant factions in Syria have habitually forced civilians to stay in the towns the militants occupy – to use the residents as human shields.
