On March 29, the Lebanese U-News agency released two videos showing the aftermath of the Israeli aerial attack that targeted several positions northeast of the Syrian city of Aleppo two days earlier.
In the videos, the remains of several US-made GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs (SDB) can be seen inside the targeted buildings, which appear to be civilian factories. The use of this type of bombs was first revealed by SouthFront.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declined to confirm or deny Israel’s responsibility for the attack on Aleppo. However, he vowed to prevent Iran from deploying what he described as “very advanced, lethal missiles” in Syria.
“Our activity against Iran’s attempt to establish military bases in Syria and to place advanced weapons there, continues all the time,” the Israeli PM said.
The Israeli aerial attack on Aleppo is an example of Netanyahu’s agrassive policy on Syria, that has failed to achieve any of its goals so far.
