On August 14, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) and other pro-government sources released videos exposing the heavy losses Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies sustained during the recent battles west of the town of Khan Shaykhun in southern Idlib.
The videos show two battle tanks, two up-armored vehicles and three pick-up trucks, which were destroyed by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). The dead bodies of several militants also can seen.
According to Muraselon, a pro-government outlet, HTS and its allies lost more than 45 militants during the battles west of Khan Shaykhun.
The army is currently working to capture new positions northwest of Khan Shaykhun in order to fully secure its rear.
