New Video Exposes How Turkish Artillery Supported Militants’ Failed Attack On Al-Nayrab

Donate

On February 20, the RIA Novosti agency released a video exposing how the Turkish military supported the militants’ failed attack on the town of al-Nayrab in southern Idlib.

The video, that was captured by a drone, shows four Turkish howitzers firing at Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions in al-Nayrab and its vicinity. The howitzers were stationed inside a Turkish “observation post” between the town of Sarmin and Idlib city.

In the last few weeks, the Turkish Armed Forces deployed dozens of howitzers and rocket launchers launchers in the so-called Greater Idlib region to support Syrian militants.

Turkey’s support for the militants was not limited to artillery fire. The militants were also armed with U.S.-made heavy howitzers and armored personnel carriers (APCs).

Despite Turkish support, the attack on al-Nayrab was repelled by the SAA within a few hours. Several Su-24 warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) provided the army with close air support, destroying twelve vehicles.

Turkey, which appears to be determined to support the militants in Greater Idlib, may launch a new attack in the region in the upcoming few days.

The Russians are obtaining hard evidence trying to prove
    Turkish support for terrorism.
    Hmm I wonder why…

    • occupybacon

They are showing Turkish soldiers that they are on Russian planes mercy as Erdogan sent them to war without any air support

      • gustavo

Russia has stopped any Turkey air support, and there is not way for them to get that type of support.

    • FlorianGeyer

I agree, and the use of Turkish ‘Observation Posts’ for fire support is akin to placing artillery in a hospital.

The price the Turks will pay for this will be high.
I am stunned that Turkish officers thought they could get away with this . It shows a level of Turkish officer depravity that rivals that of ISIS.

      • ©igare☘☘e👽Sm⚽️k🚬ng🦉Man️🎲

It shows how stupid the Turks are, they thought they would get in Syria and grab land without any shots fired…

      • Zionism = EVIL

The Turkeys are paying a very heavy price. The SAA is performing superbly.

      • You can call me Al

All the battle hardened and experienced officers are in prison, blamed for the attempted coup.

        • Zionism = EVIL

In all fairness, the Turkeys were mere dumb cannon fodder for their Zionist and NATO masters and not a real military power. They were used to picking on small neighbors like Greece and Armenia, now they are getting a taste of real war with someone who can hit back.

        • FlorianGeyer

Front page news in the UK ‘Daily Telegraph’ today is the ban of bagged coal for domestic fires together with a ban on ‘wet wood’ for use in domestic wood burning stoves in rural areas.

I suppose that legions of Home Fire Inspectors will be recruited from the un-employable together with Dry Wood centres operated by ‘Amazon Crime’ where wood can be officially branded as ‘Dry’ :)

There is NO mention of the open warfare currently between Turkey and Russian forces in Syria.

          • Concrete Mike

            A ban on.wet wood?
Ive never heard anything more stupid!
What do you do when the guy delivers the wood in the fall(rainy season) while your at work?

Honestly, this eco fascism is going too far now!

          • FlorianGeyer

I have many trees that storms damage, ergo I have plenty of wood to burn after a year or so of seasoning.

The whole Western world seems to be ruled by technocrats with Asbergers and zero common sense.
‘Eco fascism’ is a valid description, Mike. :)

          • You can call me Al

I know, it is now a fully fledged member of the MSM now unfortunately.

      • gustavo

Not problem since Russia has been bombed terrorists with high precission missiles or bombs.

    • Zionism = EVIL

There is really no need for evidence as it is crystal clear that the Turkeys in mufti are the terrorists. However, what is very impressive and not unexpected that that how well the SAA and its allies have beaten back repeated Turkey arseholes i,e NATO attacks. The SAA is one the finest militaries in the world. Russian airpower again wins the day. BTW, Russian aerospace forces have barely 28 fighter bombers in Syria, just imagine what Russia could do if it deployed merely 10% of its firepower on the Turkeys. Russia is indeed a superpower, but better and leaner and meaner than USSR.

      • Simplekindof Man

It needs to be concrete evidence and crystal clear to the west.
        Make it impossible to deny.

        • Zionism = EVIL

How much more concrete “evidence” even a complete western Jew brainwashed retard would need? the Turkeys are on Syrian soil illegally and under every canon of international law, even the impotent UN Charter Turkey has every right to defend its land and expel the invaders.

          • Concrete Mike

To WE westerners, we mostly care about the refugees, our media is bleating about it.constantly.

What the media doesnt say, is how Turkey has weaponized refugees.

Thats why turkey doesnt want to let go, because its up to its ears in human trafficing.

          • Rüdiger Preiss

You meant to write “Syria has every right to defend its land” ..

They can do it. But Russia can also stop Turk Stream, buying agricultural products and stop tourism.
Once the Turks will need the money. They will be more open to suggestions.

      • JIMI JAMES

They can’t that would violate international freedom of navigation, simply won’t happen!
That would be a potential death warrant for turkish diplomacy, teorrists are not worth it!

Since when international law was an impediment for lawless countries?

    • Xoli Xoli

Their will closed it and imposed own sanction against themself.Thats why Russian reinforcements jets flew yesterday over Iranian airspace to Syria.

    • JIMI JAMES

They can’t no one in history stopped russia navigating besides, that would be blatant violation of international rights, just like usa crying always about freedom of navigation, besides teorrists ain’t worth disruption of boths economic gains, seens the low iq lamestream assume illegal oil profits is much more lucrative than agricultural, natural resources and comprehensive infactructures which absolutely dwarfs the bussels nato 21 genders,it will eventually pan out against lamestreams!

MARCH 05 … Putin and Erdogan meet again.

Putin will tell Erdogan all of the observation posts in Idlib and Aleppo must be vacated or they will be bombed out of existence …

    • Wegan

March 5th, nothing left worth keeping Idlib. I am not sure what they are going to negotiate.

      • Tim Williams

no negotiations … this is the way it will be or else …

    • gustavo

I am not sure this will happen, but I am sure that Putin has realized that Erdogan must be stopped.

Turkey has a history in supporting terrorists. In the Bulgarian war of 1877 which Russia supported the Bulgarians the Turkey carnage of 50,000 civilians perpetrated by Ottoman irregulars, the Circassians and Bashi-Bazouks (Muslim bandits).

History repeating itself between the Turks and Russians and now that Germany and France want to intervene on behalf of Turkey is exactly what happened between the Ottoman and Russians that created the Treaty of Berlin that eventually led to WW1.

How many times do we need to say this?

Turks cannot do anything. The only thing holding the Syrian army are political dealings.
The SAA can clean up the whole region and they proved how fast they can do it.
Once the crossing to Turkey is closed, the Terrorists will flee to Turkey.
    Even Afrin will fall quickly.

    • cactus

i don’t know about afrin and azzad tho, i think it’s more complicated than idlib turkey basically annexed them, the turks will say there is no terrorsits in afrin no need for military actions, i think idlib is the easy part to be honest but the north occupied by turds i mean turks is very complicated also east of euphrates is complicated … let’s see how the allies will play this in the near futur

  • Xoli Xoli

There is no excuse or explanation from Russia to Turkey. When Erdogan Ordered the downing of Russian jet and killed the pilot.immediately Russians flew in S-400 systems to cover all hostile fire against Russian jets.So all spy hostile Erdogan post which attacked Russian jet yesterday should be neutralized or taken out immediately. Attack on spy observation post must continue.

  • Feb. 20, 2020 – A Turkish F-16 fighter plane was flying over the northern countryside of Aleppo Syria;
…a Russian fighter jet aggressively took aim at it>
…Turkish plane flew off like a flying bat out of hell.

Turkey’s politicians are ingesting too many hallucinogens.

Syria cannot allow any aircraft or other flying objects into its airspace. These illegals must be shot-down.

    SYRIAN ARMED FORCES, RUSSIA & THE OTHER SYRIA ALLIES “MUST” KEEP POUNDING !!! KEEP POUNDING !!! KEEP POUNDING 24/7 !!! UNTIL “ALL” TURKS AND THE TURKISH BACK TERRORIST GANGSTERS, AND “ALL” ILLEGAL OCCUPIERS ARE COMPLETELY ELIMINATED FROM SYRIA’S REAL ESTATE;
“ALL” OF SYRIA’S LAND MASS OF 185,180 SQ KM MUST UNDER SYRIA’S “FULL CONTROL”.
