Syrian government forces have repelled a series of new militant attacks in the northern part of Hama province, the country’s state-run media says.
According to the SANA, an SAA unit targeted a group of militants from the al-Ezza Battalions. which attempted to infiltrate into agricultural lands to the south of al-Lattamina towards military posts centered around Zallin. The reporter said that the infiltration attempt was repelled and many militants were either killed or injured while others fled.
Another round of clashes took place near the village of Shleiwet and rocket militant rocket launchers were targeted in the village of al-Zaka.
Separately, the SAA repelled several militant attacks near the villages of of al-Hamamiyat and Bridige.
The SANA reporter said that “army units conducted precise bombardments against the infiltrating terrorists using light and medium weapons as their infiltration attempt was foiled and a number of them were killed and others were injured and their equipment was destroyed.”
